Everything about Deer Cottage was outstanding.The hosts, Liz and John, were very helpful and friendly and we were grateful for the welcome pack we found on our arrival.The cottage is in a lovely setting on the side of the valley with huge open spaces around which were ideal for our dog walks.All of the furnishings are of the highest quality and the cottage was immaculately clean and comfortable.We enjoyed a wonderful week there and would highly recommend.

Friendly welcome to a lovely clean, well-eq, comfortable cottage, tucked away in a peaceful location but near to places of interest. We loved it and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

The property was exactly as described and everything we needed as a base to stay and visit family.The location was lovely and quiet and despite the hosts living just behind, it felt like we were in our own hideaway.Liz and John were so friendly and helpful and there were even toys and games available for the children to use, which they loved!The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed and the welcome treats were a lovely bonus. All in all a fabulous week was had and we couldn’t have asked for a better house to base ourselves.

From being met by the host to leaving, we had a great stay. The property was very clean and suitable for our family of 4. We had everything we need. The hosts gave ideas for walks and things to do in the area, as well as any queries.Very easy to find and on a great location. A very enjoyable break.

Every thing you need for your stay, comfortable, clean. Dog friendly, our nervous girl was very happy and enjoyed the walks in surrounding areas with her Dad.Hosts very welcoming and helpful.Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Lovely country cottage outside Bristol

We had a really lovely stay in this well appointed cottage 1/2h away from Bristol, ideally located for walks, the seaside and country pubs.

Wonderful place to stay , lovely cottage with all you need for a peaceful and chilled holiday. Clevedon nearby with the Marina (fantastic for kids) plenty of pubs etc around. Hosts Liz and John are brilliant. Highly recommend Deer Cottage.

Returning visit stayed several times before. As always property excellent condition well presented hosts friendly and helpful. great location for our dogs. quiet and relaxing but easy access to many places of interest and good walks coastal and inland.

Lovely private stay near Bristol

Great location for walks & visiting local towns & beaches with the dogs, while husband had work commitments in Bristol. Liz was very welcoming and informative Deer cottage was so clean, cozy & well equipped would love to come back!

Great property, in lovely location. The owners, Liz and John had clearly designed the cottage for guest comfort, with well chosen piece of equipment and furniture. The cottage was meticulously maintained and spotlessly clean for our stay. Super dog friendly, with open grassed garden to the front of the cottage.Loved the extra touches, such as the welcome pack of essential foods items to make our stay more comfortable. We felt at home the moment we walked through the dog. Liz and John were great hosts, really friendly and advised on the best places to eat, visit etc.We will definitely look to book again when visiting the area.

We had a wonderful week at this lovely cottage. It is in a great countryside location with lots of walks nearby. The cottage is beautifully equipped and the hosts are friendly and very helpful. Our granddaughter visited us there with her dog and there was plenty of room for him to exercise outside. We look forward to returning soon.

Weekend family break

We stayed in Deer Cottage for the weekend whilst visiting family, the accommodation was lovely, the cottage was well equipped, felt like home from home! Host greeted us and provided some great information and insights on surrounding area, would recommend and would definitely stay if available on further family trips!
