A 200-sq.m manor house set in Marseille with a private swimming pool, peaceful garden with trees, full of sunlight. It has all the charm of 19th-century Provencal country houses and unobstructed views. It sleeps 10 (4 Bedrooms) and also offers four bathrooms, a dining room, a living room, a kitchen, a laundry room, shaded arbour in front of the pool. Close to the beaches, Massif des Calanques, and Saint Baume (20 to 25 minutes away) for outdoor activities such as sailing, climbing, hiking, canoeing in the calanques, and mountain biking in the surrounding mountain ranges, at 600-1000 m. The Frioul Island, Porquerolles, and an 18-hole golf course are 4 km away. You can also find tennis courts, a cinema and restaurants less than 3 km away.

The villa was superb. Great location just on the fringes of Marseille. Charming garden with beautiful outdoor space to relax and eat outside. Lovely little pool. The villa exceeded how it appeared in the photos. Hosts were very kind and accommodated our request for a late check in as well as arranging for some breakfast for us the next day.

Jean and Geneviève are AMAZING hosts and this property is incredibly special. Perched atop a hill, this gated villa has everything you need. A gorgeous pool, a stupendous property, and a fully equipped kitchen. We are big into cooking and they had everything one would need to cook and entertain while on vacation (if that's your thing). We enjoyed using the plancha outside, eating al fresco, our kids loved the pool, and we loved being able to cook and also keep watch over them. Jean and Geneviève are wonderful hosts, and the energy in this house is palpable. It's full of light, joy and warmth. Can't wait to come back!

Great Stay

We had a wonderful stay, the house is beautiful and very well equipped for our group. The pool is fabulous and we loved using the kitchen to cook. jean and genieve were the perfect hosts. even coming to check in on us and clean the pool half way through our stay. We’ll be back!

Long holiday in France

This home served as our home base for a few weeks. It is full of character and has all the comforts needed. Our stay was over a particularly hot summer, so the pool was a great bonus! The hosts are wonderful and communicate regularly. They when above and beyond to make sure our stay was excellent. I highly recommend this spot if you value great hosts and a comfortable stay that needs parking.

Merveilleus Marseille

A truly lovley home and welcoming place to stay. Genevieve and Jean welcomed us and showed us around their beautiful home. It is really well equipped and has everyhting that you could need. It is slightly out of the main part of Marseille but has a lovely view of the hills and we found an excellent golf course just close by. Highly recommended

Weekend in Les Olives

We had a fantastic weekend stay in this gorgeous house. The hosts (Genevieve and Jean-Luc) were efficient with their responses and very welcoming on arrival. The kitchen is fully stocked and the outdoor dining spaces were the perfect location for all our meals. We really enjoyed the pool and the spaces to sunbathe - a beautiful, relaxing location to enjoy with friends. We did not have a car, however the boulangerie and a butchers is easily in walking distance and we were able to use Bolt to travel to/from locations.

Beautiful stay in Marseille

We had a magical holiday in la Bastide. The house is surrounded by the most beautiful garden filled with flowers and old trees. The house is situated on top of a hill in the middle of Marseille.So you have an amazing sight on the city and still complete serenity and silence. Kitchen bathroom and livingspace are fully equipped and the whole house has a romantic feeling. Genevieve and Jean are the most lovely people. Would highly recommend 👌❤️

Stunning, spacious property, it is better than the photos. It is a real family home, so it has everything you need. The hosts were very welcoming. The outdoor space and pool mean you are fully entertained at the property (we took some inflatables etc). There is beautiful outdoor lighting for the evenings. We used the boulangerie down the road and used public transport to travel into Marseille. We loved Cassis (use park & ride) and also enjoyed Waterworld at Gaudrade (1.5hours away). The beaches were popular so we tended to go early or later in the day. We had a fantastic holiday at this property.

Exploring Provance

The property is classic and historic full of art tile mosaic floors a kitchen and outdoor cooking is set up to entertain or feed a large family. No shortage glasses plates cutlery etc. The pool is wonderful the house is on top of a hill with magnificent views. Only 15 minutes by Uber to downtown but not much near the house. If you have a family and want to shop you should rent a car. Delivery is available and we enjoyed a pizza night by the pool. We would repeat and come back.

Séjour exceptionnel !! La maison est parfaite : spacieuse, impeccablement entretenue, très bien équipée...Nos hôtes ont été particulièrement charmants, attentionnés et disponibles, contribuant largement à la réussite de notre séjour. Franchement, si une note de 10/5 existait, elle serait amplement méritée. Nous repartons avec de merveilleux souvenirs et l’envie de revenir très vite !MERCI

Rien à redire, un lieu exceptionnel avec des propriétaires arrangeants et adorables !Nous n’avions pas envie de partir Piscine, point d’eau (douche ou baignoire) dans chaque chambre, Climatisation! Lieu de charme qui porte très bien son nom « maison de famille » où les souvenirs des propriétaires vous emportent même si vous ne les avez pas vécu :) je recommande !Point de commerce accessible à pied (10min en pente) ou en voiture, centre de Marseille proche en voiture !

La maison de Geneviève a beaucoup de charme et s'est révélée très adaptée pour un week-end en famille : nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous ! Week end entre amis

La maison est magnifique, un vrai havre de paix - à seulement 15min en voiture de la gare de Marseille. En plus de cela, les hotes sont tres accueillants et se sont montrés flexibles. On recommande!

Super séjour

Un havre de paix

Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique dans cette charmante maison ! La piscine et le jardin étaient des endroits parfaits pour se détendre, et la beauté des lieux était tout simplement époustouflante. Chaque détail de la maison contribuait à notre confort, la propreté, des chambres spacieuses, une cuisine bien équipée... Les hôtes étaient extrêmement gentils et très arrangeants. Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit à tous ceux qui recherchent un séjour agréable et chaleureux.

Week-end de rêve en famille

Maison incroyable où on se sent immédiatement bien. Il ne manque rien. Décoration magnifique. Chacun sa chambre avec point d'eau. L'extérieur est très bien aménagé et la piscine est sublime. Bref un très bel écrin pour de bons moments...

Agréable séjour

Accueil chaleureux de la part du gentil couple que forment les propriétaires. Tout était mis à disposition pour rendre agréable notre séjour à nous et nos enfants, sans parler de la beauté des lieux qui a ravi nos yeux tout au long du séjour. De très belles vacances pour notre petite famille dans la belle ville de Marseille qui regorge d’endroits splendides et d’une ambiance très chaleureuse. Un grand Merci!

Wonderful House

The house is as good as we expected it based on the pictures and the description. We have been there with 4 parents and 6 children (7-14 years) for 10 days. There is by far enough space. The dining room has a big table for dinner and there is also a big living room with 3 couches to stay inside the cooled house. The kitchen has enough plates and other things like bowls, glasses, cutlery and so on, that we could prepare our breakfast lunch and dinner. Of course the garden with the wonderful pool and the several options to stay, is the highlight of this house. The children loved it to stay there and to jump into the pool. The hosts are very nice people who gave us recommendations for restaurants or other trips, and if any support was needed they were always available immediately. Thanks for 10 wonderful days in this charming house.

Merveilleux

Geneviève est super sympa, la confiance est tout de suite installée, elle a su nous lettre a l'aise à la première seconde. Elle reste très disponible lors du séjour La maison est incroyable ! Dans marseille mais on se sent en pleine campagne, pas de bruit, en hauteur, une vue magnifique, une piscine exceptionnelle, cette maison est faite pr recevoir et faire de grandes tablées Les commerces sont très accessibles, les calanques aussi Nous avons passées une week-end Merveilleux

Excellent accueil

Nous avons reçu un excellent accueil. La maison est très bien équipée et les propriétaires extrêmement sympathiques. Nous conseillons vivement cette location. Un lieu idéal pour des retrouvailles en famille ou entre amis!
