Villa Marco is a beautiful, two bedroom house located in the peaceful village of Svoronata in southern Kefalonia, with spectacular views of the crystal clear waters of the Ionian Sea.

It is perfectly located, close to beaches, Avithos, Agios Helis and Costa Costa Water Sports Beach. The family-friendly Avithos Beach offers safe swimming, sun beds, a beach bar and two excellent tavernas is a two minute drive away.

Villa Anthia: 8954176
The villa has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and an open-plan living/dining area with Smart TV, free internet and all amenities. With its own private pool and barbecue area, its the perfect space to relax and unwind. And if you’re feeling sporty, there is shared access to a private tennis court.

Argostoli, the island’s vibrant capital, is a ten minute drive away and there is a mini market and a couple of restaurants closer to home within walking distance, in the local village of Svoronata.

Regular cleaning and linen services are overseen by our manager, who is on hand to assist with your requirements. We can provide a meet and greet service at the airport or ferry port, which are both only a ten minute drive away. We are happy to advise on car rental as well as manage activities such as excursions, scuba diving, kayaking, cruises and lots more.

We look forward to welcoming you to Villa Marco where you will receive a complimentary hospitality pack on arrival.

This is the perfect Villa for a family stayWe stayed in the villa for 1 week, everywhere was lovely and clean, great size pool, towels were also provided which was great. Andy was really welcoming and advised on some great places to visit. There were beautiful restaurants nearby aswell. Would highly recommend and will be returning

Incredible views. Wonderful host. Unfortunately bed wasn’t very comfortable (hard and squeaked every time someone moved to change size). Can also hear upstairs room. View and host made up for that!

Wonderful property

We can’t fault our stay in Villa Marco. The views are spectacular and the villa was clean and well stocked. Andy the property manager was on hand every day to check we had everything we needed and even took away our rubbish. A car is needed here due to the location but you can walk to a taverna in 15 minutes called Esperides which is amazing. Thanks Connie and Andy we hope to see you again next year!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Marco this summer. Andy the local host met us on arrival and was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and was just great to know he was about should we ever need to call on him. Connie kept us really well informed ahead of travelling. All the facilities were as advertised, the aircon was super effective and the views out to sea and to the neighbouring islands are amazing. The villa is in a location that does warrant a hire car as the nearest beaches are about a mile away. We found Al Helis beach better than Avithos as there was more going on and it was generally larger. Local restaurants like Sea Salt, Enetiko and Avithos Preview Terrace are all delightful. The Sarris winery is particularly good and well worth an evening visit for a tasting with local breads, olives, cheese and oil. Costa Costa beach about 15 mins drive toward Argostoli is a lively and well equipped beach with more facilities. If you are looking for a boat trip do try Utopia Cruises in Argostoli - Captain Spiros and his First Mate Sotos are proper characters, hard working and really made our day with thier antics and hospitality.

Lovely Villa

Lovely spot, incredible views, and very secluded. However, the listing is slightly misleading and the house is in a bit of a shambles. There's no direct access to the beach below and the house needs a bit of a Reno. IMO not quite worth the money - there will be better villas out there for the same price.

Perfect getaway

Exceptional villa with breathtaking views. Andy, property manager, could not have been more helpful. He arranged a hire car when they were none to be found, gave brilliant advice on where to eat and visit, sorted the WiFi, was on call and popped in. Feel we have known him for ages. Best holiday in ages. Will be going back.

I would rent this again in a minute!

Wonderful villa with amazing views! Pool was clean and ready for us to use. Best for 2 adults and 2 kids. Connie, the property manager may be the best property manager I've ever encountered. She is amazing. She met us there very late (around 11:00 PM), showed us around and gave us the keys. She checked in periodically to see if everything was okay. Do NOT hestitate to rent this villa. You will not be disappointed.

Our stay

Beautiful, well-equipped property, amazing views across the channel to Zakinthos. Connie and Andy were truly great hosts - we discovered a hiccup only a few days before we were due to fly, Connie and Andy sorted it out. Andy met us at the villa when we arrived, he's a mine of information about Kefalonia. :) Although looking expensive, we strongly advise a hire-car to get about, particularly to the beaches - it's quite a walk to the bus stop, taxi fares are extortionate. If you need a car-hire recommendation, Mercury (close to the airport but so are several others).

Finally made it !

Having had to cancel last year when my our flight was cancelled we received a full refund and as such came back to book again for 2022 ! The Villa is situated among a terrace of four , ours was the end of terrace overlooking the Southern end of Avithos Beach, we found the Villa after a previous trip when it had direct access to a Beach, last winter though saw a land slip take place which washed out the path. , as such our Access was then by Car with only a few minutes drive , however the view from the Villa over the seas towards the island of Zante was stunning and more than made up for it , two beds , two Bathrooms, a living area and galley style kitchen lead out to a sheltered patio where you can sit and eat and admire the view ( or watch the Stars at night into the small hours ) , a BBQ is built in and works well , our hosts were most attentive and when the water failed came to see us ( water main in road) and kept us fully informed , likewise when the WiFi played up were instrumental in getting it back up and on line, The Villa is located only a short distance from the airport and we watch the planes arrive and sometimes depart but there was no excessive noise, it’s a quiet location and you can relax and listen to the sea below, Overall really pleased with our time there ( spent mainly on the Beach below ,) Car hire is essential , a Local supermarket is close by with a surprisingly wide range of local wines, thanks to Connie and Andy for looking after us and ensuring our stay was as trouble free as it Could be

Wonderful holiday stay!

We stayed at the villa for a week - a mum and two daughters. We were welcomed by Andy who was incredibly friendly, helpful and kind. He went out of his way to make our stay as pleasurable as could be, giving great advice about local amenities and even picking up some shopping for us (we didn't hire a car and needed bottles of water - too heavy to carry). Andy's insight and practical help made our stay so fun and relaxing. The villa has a wonderful aspect - a gorgeous view. And it has everything you could need. There are two bedrooms, two bathrooms - one of us slept on the sofa bed in living room meaning we all had our own space which was great. There is absolutely no issue with planes (was a slight concern of mine). There are very few and you hardly hear them. The villa is in a lovely secluded, quiet spot. We didn't have or need a car. If we'd stayed longer maybe it would have been handy to have a car or - better - bikes! We would definitely look into hiring them another time. But without a car we managed fine - it's a 10-15 min walk to the mini-market which sells EVERYTHING you could possibly need. And a 15-20 min walk to the most magical, quiet, perfect beach (the far end of Avithos beach) - there's a little dirt track down to it. We loved it there. The white taverna at Avithos is perfect after a long day grafting in the sun and sea. We highly recommend it. There are other tavernas within 10/15 mins walk of the villa.

Wonderful holidays

We spent wonderful holidays in Villa Marco! The villa is quite basic but has all the comfort needed and the location is just amazing and very exclusive with a splendid view and a private access to one of the most beautiful beach of the island! Andy is a sweetheart : he came by every day just to check on us, very nice and careful ! We highly recommend this villa and would definitively come back!

-Die Lage des Objekts ist traumhaft schön und ruhig. -Der Service durch die Agentur (Connie) und den Manager vor Ort (Andy) war so gut, wie wir es sonst noch nirgendwo erlebt haben - sehr empfehlenswert! - Ausstattung des Hauses ist gut. - Pool ist zum Schwimmen zu klein.

Top Lage direkter Strandzugang mit Fußweg zu zwei Tavernen und Strandbar

Top Lage mit direktem Strandzugang und per Fußweg am Strand entlang sind zwei tolle Tavernen und eine schöne Strandbar am Avithos Beach zu erreichen. Ausstattung ok, es werden ausreichend Handtücher und Bettwäsche zum Wechseln zur Verfügung gestellt. Etwas Probleme gab es mit dem Strom: bei gleichzeitiger Benutzung von Backofen und Herd fliegt die Sicherung raus und man muss sich zwischen den beiden entscheiden :-). Aber die Aussicht und die Lage machen alles wieder gut! Schön wäre noch ein Esstisch innen, abends ist es manchmal zu kühl um auf der Terrasse zu essen. Top Service vor Ort mit Wein und Startpaket mit Kleinigkeiten und sehr sehr herzlicher und jederzeit erreichbarer Anprechpartnerin! Jederzeit wieder!

Bright, airy villa with beautiful beach!

Villa Marco is cool, modern and light, the pool lovely and the private beach gorgeous, a delight! It was a pleasure to walk to every day. Stathis, the villa manager was knowledgeable , enthusiastic and couldn’t have been more helpful. We’d recommend Villa Marco 100%!

Beautiful setting

We had a lovely week in Villa Marco. The villa itself is quite basic, but clean and good air con. The amazing feature of this place is the short walk down to the most beautiful beach that is only used by a few of the villas - we had the place to ourselves most days and it is truly stunning. We were met at the airport by Stathis is manages the property - we followed him in our hire car which was great not to have to worry about finding the place easily. Our fridge freezer packed up on day 1 which Stathis made a huge effort to have replaced by the end of the same day. Sadly the replacement didn’t work for a few days (prob due to it needing settling after transport) but apart from missing out on cold drinks for a few days, we were reimbursed for all items that spoiled. Kefalonia is such a beautiful island we had a great week.
