The central location is perfect for reaching most of the historical sites. Host was extremely helpful with recommendations for restaurants and travel around the city. Property was clean and whilst the kitchen space is small we had no problems in preparing our own meals.

This property was wonderful. It was spacious and nicely appointed. The host was very gracious and thought of everything! AC units were in the bedroom and living area and worked very well. The location was great. We walked to all the major attractions except the Coliseum which was a little further than we could comfortably walk in the heat. I highly recommend this property!

We had a lovely stay. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, taking the time to answer all of our questions and show us the beautiful roof terrace. Unfortunately, access to the terrace wasn't available unless accompanied by an apartment owner, which was a little disappointing, but we appreciated being shown it.The apartment was clean, and the air conditioning worked very well, which made our stay comfortable. While the apartment isn't particularly modern, it has plenty of charm. We especially loved the traditional shuttered windows and the collection of old books, which gave the place a lot of character.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the host's kindness and hospitality.

There is a reason why this property has such a high score. It has everything you need, it’s in a perfect location, it’s impeccably clean, and it’s owned by hosts who care. We spent 2 weeks, and the place became a comfortable home, even in Rome’s summer heat. The area is unusually quiet for the heart of Rome, and the apartment’s place on the top floor affords some spectacular views. I’ve read the critical reviews, and I can confirm they have unrealistic expectations. Even the extra flight of stairs after the elevator (small but well maintained) was no real inconvenience. We highly, highly recommend!

The hosts did a great job by providing the early access even if easter monday was a holiday. the whole appartment was very clean and well furnished. We prepared meals in the wll appointed kitchen. There are 3 markets within 100 to 200 meters. Fresh supply of meats, wine cheeses etc. The location allowed us to walk to most of the popular sites, Vatican City, Pantheon, Trevi fountain, Fountain of the Four Rivers etc The hosts , the appartment and the location made this a memorable trip to Rome.

This was our second stay at this well located one bedroom apartment. Clara and Francesca were so helpful in responding to our questions and assistance. The apartment is well equipped with all you would need for a Roman holiday. The location is well situated to most sites. Especially enjoyed New Years fireworks at the nearby Castle St Angelo!

I could not think of a better stay in Rome. The apartment is fully equipped, clean, so comfortable, and the host has thought of every detail. More importantly, the personal touches, the communication, and frankly, the friendship is outstanding.

Perfect Location- great property- excellent in every way

Loved the location - loved the property- loved everything! This location allowed us to walk to every major site we went to Rome to see Colosseum-check Sistine Chapel - check Jewish ghetto, pantheon, St Peters Basilica- check, check and check! We stayed 5 days which was perfect

The host was attentive and check in was good. However advertised as a luxury penthouse apartment, it was not luxurious and is very dated. Amenities worked Ok and central in location.Apartment on the 7th floor. Elevator only up to the 6th floor and often did not work up to the 6th floor. Had to carry bags.

Wonderful apartment and neighborhood.

We had a lovely stay at this property. The apartment is beautiful and the location great. Within easy walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and major attractions. Host was very helpful and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family.

Lovely Prati Penthouse

We spent about a month at this home near the Vatican, St. Peters, etc. It has amazing views and the benefit of an extremely responsive host who happens to live in the building. Feels residential enough that you don't have to feel like a tourist, but also very close to anything a tourist would want to do (you can see Sant Angelo from here). Great place and great hosts!
