One bedroom cottage uniquely situated on the water front in St Margarets Hope, South Ronaldsay ,Orkney. Originally a fishermans storehouse Noust .This cottage has been tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard. Decorated with many original Orkney arts and crafts.

Cosy and very clean with lots to make a comfortable stay.Fabulous artwork around the cottage linked to the area added much to the overall experience Fabulous views from the sitting room window. Good quality towels and bedding and well equipped kitchen.Would definitely stay again.

Lovely property right beside the sea front. The host was very helpful and messaged quickly with answers to questions. Margaret St Hope is a delightful centre to base your holiday.. good shop and post office with two excellent restaurants.

Bin hadn’t been put out and it was already full despite it being bin collection day. I could not, therefore, empty the kitchen bin as nothing else would fit in black bin.

This was a lovely property with an amazing view over the harbour of St Margaret's Hope. It was clean and had everything you need for a self catering stay.

This property was wonderful.It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Great location, just a minute from the ferry landing.About twenty minutes from Kirkwall, Tesco and lots of shops.Even got to watch a seal swim around outside the living room window.

We had the most incredible stay in this beautiful accommodation - everything had been thought of and it was so clean too. The views from the window over the cove were fabulous. We loved every minute.

Very nice cozy cottage with a gorgeous view. We had some beautiful weather for the time of year. Couple of great pubs and a couple of shops. 5 minutes from ferry port. You cannot go wrong exploring the islands from here.

Stunning, peaceful

Brilliantly situated with stunning views. Really well equipped with kitchen equipment & local guides etc. Clean & cosy. Recommend The Murrey Arms Hotel restaurant for end of holiday meal - a real treat.

A lovely location and a very comfortable house - the highlight was the view across the way, with the water right under the window.

It's a truly special location with the gable end sitting in the sea . You could be on a boat without the roll.

Seaside cottage. 👍

Terrific cottage with a wonderful view and fully equipped!! Bus stop is only steps from the front door making daily outings very easy to plan. I thoroughly recommend this location.

Our "Happy Place"

A truly lovely property, with everything you would need. In fact a perfect home from home! Would strongly recommend it for any one looking for comfort and high class facilities. Various quality locations to visit, and a good selection of hotels and restaurants close by. "PDB"

Great property in a lovely location

The property is a good size for 2 or 3. It's well situated right on the waters edge with a lovely fish restaurant clise by, and it's in a great spot if you're a Northern Lights watcher. The photos on the website don't do it justice - we would definitely go back.

Gorgeous!

This was such a wonderful trip - and the cottage is gorgeous. The window over the bay in the living room was a highlight - better than TV! We had everything we needed, and the cottage was beyond our expectations. We hope to be able to return.

Our first trip to Orkney.

Our first time to Orkney and it won't be our last. After a hard day walking and sightseeing this is such a wonderful property to come back to. Its got everything you need, beautifully decorated and furnished. Its all clean and it all works. Its a lovely cosy place right next to the water and with great views. Thank you Catriona!
