We stayed at Quiet DAYLESFORD very quiet cottage 2 bedroom cottage it had everything we needed. It was a quiet, spacious cottage with great surroundings and it was pet friendly. Our two nights here were really comfortable with good beds, plenty of bedding for colder nights and a good heater which warmed the whole place. We had plenty of equipment to make breakfast and lunch if required. I would happily stay here again and the owner Ky did everything possible to fit in with our needs, including being flexible with dates and check in times. Ky was a most accommodating owner which is what we expect as part of country hospitality. Thank you Ky."

Abelia Cottage was set in a great location, close to the centre of the Daylesford shopping centre, and close to the Wombat Botanical Gardens, where we had a pre arranged social group meet up.I found the bed in the master bedroom very comfortable and there was very effective heating available as our stay was in Winter.The property was fully fenced, which was a definite plus as we, my husband and I were travelling with our 9 year old great dane dog.Ky was a very attentive host and very informative on things to do and places to visit in the Daylesford area, including dining suggestions.

Abelia is a hidden gem. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, taking time to relax and unwind in beautiful Daylesford. Ky gave recommendations on where to go and where to eat that were perfect for us.

Comfortable and well appointed cottage that offered the configuration we needed and represented terrific value for money. Conveniently dog friendly and quiet location, 10 minutes walk to the main strip. Host went above and beyond, providing treats upon arrival.

The property is in a great location, close to everything Daylesford has to offer, and the nightly rate was very reasonable. The cottage has a lot of charm, though it could benefit from a more thorough clean, and there is quite a bit of clutter which made it feel a little less spacious. The shower could also use some maintenance.The host greeted us on arrival and offered a walkthrough of the cottage. While we appreciated the gesture, we would have been comfortable settling in on our own. During the walkthrough, we were shown how to lock the doors, use the keys, and operate the massage chair. While this was likely intended to be helpful, it did feel a little overwhelming for us as two women travelling on our own, and we would have preferred a bit more space to get settled independently

Sharlene thank you for your feedback. We do a thorough check-in because guests tell us a lot with sick and tired of chuck the keys and work it out for ourselves. Before covid 40% return guests now down to 15% TODAY guest checked out wrote beautiful email my Magical stays at ABELIA Cottage Botanical so so quiet and relaxing we just booked again because each time was fantastic with excellent clean facilities including kitchen great heating and spaciousness. The cottage is close to the township and restaurants and has a lovely Outlook with a beautiful garden on the front Vetandah couch. Definitely my home away from home third visit in the last year wanda Swick APRIL this year Adam and Kimi sent text hi KYi it's Adam and Kimi here we're wondering about coming and seeing you again late August do you have availability then it'll be our fifth visit in three years THERE YOU GO KY

Perfect Chillout Cottage

My friends and I were up for the Chillout Festival and had an incredible time at Ky's cottage. Ky provided excellent service from the moment I booked, following up with a welcome pack sent to the home. He was an excellent host. The cottage was conveniently located, only 15mins walk from the centre of town, and in a beautiful quiet spot of Daylesford, close to the Sunday markets! We had a fantastic time and look forward to coming back to Daylesford again!

Excellent property

We found the cottage to be a wonderful place to stay everything you needed and more was provided, warm cosy insde great bed and wonderful bird life to watch while sitting outside.Overall other than a bit clutter for just two but ideal for a family we had a wonderful stay and will be back when possible.

Excellent Quiet Cottage BIEDLIFE

Abelia Cottage Botanical was excellent in many ways including, cleanliness,comfort, location and price. At the last minute my eldest daughter joined us with her Husband. The Cottage allowed everyone their own space when needed, as well as offering a huge living area together to enjoy each others company. The cottage has everything that you need and more, with some extra special touches that make it quite homely. Love the botanical setting too! We would definitely stay here again and we are planning another visit soon. Thanks again Ky from Anna 4/1/2016

Lovely property

My dog, Jilly (chihuahua), and I enjoyed our stay at Abelia Cottage in Daylesford. Ky was a fanatastic host and went the extra mile when we left Jilly's favourite toy behind! All aspects of the cottage were fantastic. The location suited both Jilly and I, with the lake across the road, and great cafe's within walking distance.
