Old, but lovely. Very well supplied with all you need. Kim has been thoughtful in the way she kitted the house out.Comfortable bed and lounges.Would recommend it to others.

Great location and fantastic correspondence with manager!

A great spot, very close to town and the manager was very helpful to let us know how good spots for dinner.

House was comfortable and fitted with everything we needed for our stay. Fireplace was set ready to use which added a cosy warmth to the house. Stunning views in a quiet location. The local magpies greeted us in the morning.

Close to the snow fields of Mount Selwyn, quiet location, close to Blowering and Jounama dams and fishing, excellent amenities, easy to follow instructions and plenty of inhouse distractions and comforts. Highly recommend this destination to anyone.

The location was excellent and made everything easily accessible. The property itself was very clean and well presented, which made the stay comfortable from the moment we arrived. The host was also very communicative throughout the entire process, providing clear instructions and responding quickly to any questions. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable experience, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Great skiing base

We loved staying at the Kabana while we skied at Selwyn. It was cosy and warm, close to the Country Club for a dinner out, lots of character, and comfy beds.

Lovely place to stay.

Beautiful little town with a nice walk down to the lake. The fire was cosy and the place was tidy and clean. Very comfortable place to stay while experiencing a few days of skiing at Mt Selwyn.

Mountain views

Well equipped and cosy place with great mountain views, ample space for a family to relax and easy communication with the owner. We would definitely stay there again.

Everything you could possibly need for a long or short stay was available.

Had no problems at all from start to finish renting this property for our weekend away.

Loved spending the week in beautiful Talbingo. The Kabahna had beautiful views of the mountains and provided everything we could possibly need and more! Location was perfect! Looking forward to coming back.
