Hideaway at the beach - 100m walk to the beach

Spacious level ground floor tiled apartment with great views of the ocean, only 100m walk to South Narrawallee Beach. This accommodation is double brick, concrete floors with no noise from upstairs, keeps very cool on those warm days, easy level living. The private 9m X 4m gated deck/balcony is ideal for BBQ's and outdoor entertaining, with views looking onto South Narrawallee Beach and bushland. Driveway and parking at front door. Sheets and towels not provided.

South Narrawallee Beach is protected from southerly winds, perfect in winter and summer, with crystal clear waters, ideal for jogging, walking, great for riding a surfboard, bodyboard or bodysurfing, even the dolphins love our beach, they are often sighted surfing the waves.

Sleeping consists of 3 bedrooms -

Bed 1 - Queen size bed with ocean views
Bed 2 - 2 single beds
Bed 3 - 1 single bed

Long weekends 3 night minimum stay.

Easter 4 night minimum stay

Narrawallee is located on the unspoiled South Coast of NSW 3 hours south of Sydney.

2 minute drive to well known Rick Steins at Bannisters, where you can enjoy cocktails by the pool and dine in their award winning Restaurant or popular Cupitts Winery for dining, 10 minutes drive.

2 minute drive to Mollymook Shops consisting of a Supermarket, Butcher, Bakery, Fruit Shop, Takeaway Shop, Liqueur Shop, Video, Newsagent and Chemist.

5 minutes drive north is the town of Milton, with many lunchtime cafes offering great coffee and trendy shops to browse.

Ulladulla is 10 minutes drive south, a commercial fishing port and boating harbour, Cinema, Coles, Aldi and Franklins Supermarkets and many great restaurants and shops.

For the keen bushwalker, Pigeon House Mountain is one of the Shoalhaven's most picturesque and popular bush walks. The mountain, with its unique shape, can be viewed from a number of vantage points throughout the region. From the top there are magnificent panoramic views of the rugged cliffs and gorges carved by the Clyde River and its tributaries.

A very relaxing holiday

Great spot for a week, very spacious for a family, modern fit out, deck with a view, private, quiet, relaxing sounds of the sea, amazing sunrise/view from the main bedroom, we loved playing tennis, and the easy 100m walk to the beach finished it off :) It was sunny every day and the sea was warm and we caught lots of fish...

Absolutely incredible

The property was amazing, very clean , had everything and more . Lovely little finishing touches throughout. We made great use of the tennis court on the property, and loved eating on the deck off the bbq , watching the waves crash on the beach. The host were so lovely and accommodating. My partner and I will most definitely be back again. 10/10

Excellent location

The real selling point of this apartment is the proximity to the beach! It was a perfectly decent apartment and exactly as described. The deck was great for sitting out and watching the waves. The only drawbacks for us were the low ceilings and the fact that every room was tiled. This probably wouldn't have been such as issue if it was hotter and sunnier but as we had a bit of a rainy week it was cool inside and felt a bit damp.

Great beachside holiday property

Super location, close to the beach. Loved the home. It was very comfortable, very well appointed and extremely clean and tidy. And the tennis court was a great bonus for the kids. The owners are very warm and friendly and helpful. Definitely a place we’d recommend and somewhere we’d come back to again without hesitation.

A hidden gem in Narrawallee

We had a wonderful week at the Hideaway! Proximity to the beach was awesome. The hospitality of Rhonda and John added to the overall experience - what wonderful hosts. Our kids loved the place, exploring the beach, lots fun on the tennis court and great times at the lagoon! Would definitely recommend!

Such a lovely location.

The unit was as described. We wanted for nothing. It was very comfortable, quiet and made relaxing ideal. Our hosts could not have been more accommodating. We shall be returning again.

Great position

This property ticked all the boxes for us, right down to the amazing position of the place, only a few steps to an amazing beach, lovely surroundings and plenty of nature to explore. Close to so many places to visit including Milton/Ulladulla, Bannister’s Pavilion etc. The accommodation was so clean and tidy with a very nice feel to it the moment you walk in. The place was so well equipped, nothing left to think about. Rhonda, the owner was extremely hospitable and nothing was too much trouble for her. We would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a very relaxing time with fabulous ocean views.

Very clean and well located with attentive property manager

We had a very nice weekend at Rhonda's property. It was very clean and comfortable for my wife and I and two teenagers. Rhonda was very attentive and we much appreciated the offer of a late checkout. Thanks Rhonda!

Fantastic location

Hideaway at the beach was lovely, everything that its description promised! The unit was spotlessly clean, comfortably furnished and Rhonda even left beautiful fresh flowers from her garden. Its sheltered position made BBQ's on the deck enjoyable and the sound of the waves at night was lovely. We were able to freely use the tennis court, which made for some fun afternoons! We had a lovely stay at Hideaway at the beach, many thanks to owners Rhonda and John!

Peaceful, clean and a stones throw to the beach

We have just had a very relaxing 6 days in Narrawallee. The beautiful, peaceful beach was close enough for my young children to walk to barefoot and when we weren't there, we were having a game of tennis on the court attached to the house. The deck was another one of my favourite places to sit with a book and coffee while watching the sunrise over the water or my children on the tennis court. Cannot recommend this place and its friendly hosts highly enough.

Wonderful family holiday location by the beach

We had a wonderful two week stay with our children over the Christmas break. Whilst the country sweltered we were extremely comfortable at Narrawallee. There was a beautiful cool breeze from the ocean every day, and the house itself was very cool (we didn't turn on the fans once). The apartment is within walking distance to South Narrawallee Beach. The Narrawallee Inlet and Mollymook Beach are a short drive away. There are a number of children's playgrounds in the areas and the shops at Mollymook are less than a five minute's drive away. Rhonda and John were the perfect hosts - friendly upon our arrival and left us to our own devices - but were extremely responsive when we contacted them to ask some questions. The house was immaculate upon our arrival and Rhonda had thoughtfully put out fresh flowers from her garden and left us some milk in the fridge for our tea. The perfect set up for the parents in one room, the children in single beds in another, with space for two more people in single beds in a third bedroom. We'll be back!

The owner has thought of and provided everything you will need for your stay, not just the minimum that you get with most Stayz. The place was spotlessly clean, very well maintained, private and quiet. Will stay there again

Fabulous!

I’m reluctant to honestly review this property as I selfishly don’t want anyone to discover what a gem this is. Hosts Rhonda and John are beautiful, the house is clean and very accommodating. There were six of us including four teens and, although there was only one bathroom, the space was perfectly adequate. WiFi only in living area was also beneficial as it kept the teens in the communal area. The balcony and tennis court area is beautiful with a view onto Narrawallee Beach. The other big winner is the hop, skip and jump to the beach. Thanks for the wonderful week, John and Rhonda!

Fantastic long weekend

My wife and 2 teenage sons have spent many holidays at Mollymook/Narrawallee. We've rented houses around the area and enjoy visiting the beaches. Our visit to John and Rhonda's place was on short notice. A quick weekend escape from a heatwave in Sydney. It was the first time we've rented at Hideaway, although we have walked past this property many times previously. The location is faultless. Narrawallee beach is a 80 metre walk away, which is extremely handy. No packing up the car with wet and sandy kids and gear. Just walk back home and shower off. Full use of the tennis court is a winner too. Inside the space is open and clean. We only used the main bedroom and one of the other rooms. The beds were fine and wooden slatted base in the bed I slept on meant no rusty springs waking you during the night whenever you move. John and Rhonda reside in the level above. A totally separate living area. You have as much or little to do with them. To John and Rhonda:- Thanks, and see you next time!
