Stayed here with my parents over a long Labor Day weekend, The house was completely charming and perfect for our needs. We enjoyed the gorgeous view off the porch and spend a lot of time outside watching the freighters go by. The kids loved playing in the water/sand area at the bottom of the hill. The waves from the freighters and rock/glass hunting was especially fun. The house had everything we needed - a wonderful trip.

Had nice time with the family. The view was great watching the freighters go by. Beds were comfy and just amazed at the age of home. Would recommend.

We had a great holiday stay in East China watching freighters and relaxing. Danni was a super host and definitely made us feel welcome. We will stay again when weather is warmer so we can take advantage of the outdoors and that porch! Thanks again Danni

Paradise on the Saint Clair River

Very nice weekend and the home was just beautiful. Such a relaxing visit with my family, watching freighters as they pass, and an evening around the fire pit.

Beautiful Well Kept Historic Home

We really enjoyed our stay. Loved watching the many freighters go by on the river. The house was very clean and well kept. We are hoping to return for a longer visit next summer or fall.

Week-long 4th of July get away with family

We had a wonderful time at the Harts River House! Danni and her family could not have been more responsive and accommodating. The warm home provided a much needed escape from the daily grind!

It was so relaxing sitting on the front porch watching the freighters on the river. House had everything we needed, and was very nice. The dogs next door didn't like our dog much and barked non stop at our dog, when outside . often wondered what it would be like to live by "yippy-yappy" dogs. Not good, but you can't always control some dogs. And it was only a few days. So, ok. Owner was very nice and friendly, and my dog loved her dogs! Good time, close to good restaurants.

Mini moon

Very beautiful… hated to leave! We spent our post wedding here after getting married at Saint Clair Inn. Loved the view and the freighters going by. The porch was beautiful for sunrise pictures and loved having bonfires by the water at night. Will definitely recommend this place to family and friends. Will love to visit again!
