This Florida vacation home located on a beautiful lake in North Florida is just what you are looking for! Enjoy a relaxing and peaceful vacation away from it all. This 2800 square foot home is located on Cherry Lake, Madison County, Florida. Beautifully decorated with southern charm.
Enjoy the crystal clear waters of this spring-fed lake nestled in a very rural setting just two hours from Jacksonville, one hour from Tallahassee and just 30 minutes from Valdosta, GA. Cherry Lake is ideal for swimming, skiing, tubing, jet skis, and fishing. Large mouth bass and fresh water brim are plentiful in Cherry Lake.
Bring your boat and enjoy your favorite water sports. It is approximately a mile in diameter, almost a perfect circle in shape with a total of about 500 acres. This home has its own private dock. There are two bedrooms with a king-size bed in each, one upstairs and one down. The third bedroom has two queen beds and the fourth bedroom has two double beds, both located upstairs. There is an additional room with two twins off the downstairs bedroom, and a small room with one twin and a crib adjoining the upstairs bedroom. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you will need for large family meals. There is a Keurig and a drip coffee maker. Linens are provided.
In the evening enjoy a marshmallow roast or a campfire sing-along in the outdoor campfire area. Whether you're a golf enthusiast or an amateur, you will love our Golf Pong game. Putters and balls are provided. Fishing equipment is provided and there is no license required to fish from the dock. Get out on the water with the use of a kayak or paddle board provided for your fun and enjoyment. Life vests are also available for your use. For the young or the young at heart, a 50 foot rope swing is a thrilling good time for all. A huge yard provides space for yard games and plenty of space for the little ones to run around.

Home was absolutely charming. We had the most amazing sunrises and sunsets adorned by lavished views from the sauna or jacuzzi. The unique design gives you the pleasures of a private resort style stay. I travel a lot this was truly an unexpected gem found definitely will be added to the top of our list of stays here. Host was superior in responding and providing everything needed for your stay.

The house was absolutely beautiful. The amenities were excellent. Valdosta wasn’t too far so we were able to enjoy a day in town and stock up! We loved everything. Felt completely comfortable and at home the minute we arrived. Would love to stay there again!

We had a great stay! We had 3 families staying together, and there was plenty of room for everyone to have space. The home was clean, and the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. Our kids loved fishing from the dock, playing in the putting area and swinging from the rope swing. The lake and dock area are beautiful....pictures online don't do it justice. We would definitely book here again.

Beautiful house that had plenty of room for everyone. We celebrated my sister’s 60th bday with family & this house was well stocked for cooking, plenty of beds, fire pit was a nice touch. Beds were very comfortable.

Unfortunately, we were a little disappointed. There was a used feminine hygiene product found in the bedPower went out twice for hours , no fault of the owner but there was one flash light, one lantern (that did not work well) needed batteries and only two candles. The window sills needed cleaning (dead bugs) and we had to wipe down porch furniture before we could use them.

You will need for nothing! Our host, Tina, quickly responded when I had a question. Very clean inside and out with new amenities added since our last stay. Great kitchen, it was the hub of the family time. If you get a chance to stay here, grab it. Well worth it!

Great house in quiet area
Loved the house for the eight of us staying. Plenty of space for us to all hang out and also have our own privacy when wanted. Kids loved the lake to paddle board and swim.

Girl Scout Troop trip
This place was awesome and exactly what my troop needed. Very clean, very pretty and plenty of room for us to spread out. The house was well kept and the kitchen was well stocked with everything that we needed. Couldn’t have asked for a better location for our troop trip to Wild adventures!

Parents 62nd Anniversary
Great place to have family gathering. Offers a lot of room for everyone with three bathrooms and a half. Gorgeous views of the lake and lots of room to play in the backyard.

View of the lake and sunset was great.
Our family loves to cook. We were pleasantly surprised that the kitchen was so well appointed. Even in the cooler weather we enjoyed spending time in the dock. The sunsets over the lake were icing on the cake!

Peaceful Retreat

I grew up spending summers at the lake with my family. These were priceless memories that we wanted for our children.

Cherry Lake is a beautiful, spring fed lake. I like the fact that the water is clean and clear. Our children have learned to knee board, wake board and wake skate on the lake. Of course, tubing is an all time favorite for them, as well as all their friends who come to visit.
