The perfect waterfront retreat! Great deep-water canal off Homosassa River! No bridges. 2/2 upstairs with cedar wood interior and Trex deck. Downstairs, an additional bed in an open alcove area, bathroom, and a game room.

This is a peninsula property with 2 homes/boat docks. We do not own the other home/boat dock and it is not a rental, but is private property. Our home and boat dock is available as a rental. It is a 2 story stilt home. There is a 50’ Trex boat dock that sits behind our home with a boat lift. The boat lift is not available. Just a snook's jump to the river and minutes to the Gulf of Mexico. The Homosassa River is home to the Homosassa River State Wildlife Park and Springs, great fishing and casual waterfront dining.

Upstairs 2/2: 2 carpeted bedrooms with queen size beds each with its own tiled bathroom. Laundry room with washer and dryer. The Kitchen sports a center island with glass top stove and appliances, cookware, dishes and utensils. Dining room seats 6 at a glass top table. Cable TV in living room. Both upstairs bedrooms overlook the water. This is a stilt home. Access to downstairs has exterior front and back stairways.

Downstairs small Game Room and Bed: 1 tiled open alcove room features queen size bed and dresser. There is a large bathroom and shower. Large open game room includes a wall mounted dart board, box games upstairs, and cable TV. Tired of indoor sports? Step outside to the 50' Trex dock and hop in your boat to go fish or float with the Manatees at the Springs in minutes.

Exterior Property Features: Property includes trex dock. Enclosed, attached garage with security code.

We are proud to offer a smoke free home for your vacation stay. 3 Night Minimum. Our agreement reads that only approved pets are allowed. Indicate pet when entering your Inquiry. There is a pet fee. Limited to 2 vehicles for parking (garage and driveway). Trailer/additional vehicle parking is available adjacent to the County's public ramp at MacRae's OR for $20/day there is a private launch/trailer parking available at Florida Cracker Riverside Resort which is next to MacRae's. We can now accommodate one small trailer on side of front yard. Both locations for parking have restaurants and either bait or rentals of boats/kayaks.

I felt like a lottery winner. I was staying in this beautiful home on the water just minutes from the Homosassa River. Our goal was fishing, and being able to dock our boat just feet from the back door was amazing. And yes, the fishing was lively too.Thanks for the hospitality, and hopefully we can come back soon!

Great stay in Homosassa

We had a great time staying a month at this canal front home in Homosassa. Spacious home, comfortable beds , game room - all in good location.

Amazing location, convenient dock, but owners are definitely taking advantage of that to overcharge and under provide. Pillows were yellow and stained. Downstairs is advertised as a “game room”. There’s two random chairs along with a tiny high table. There’s no actual furniture. Tv did not even work. Exposed wires in downstairs bathroom, hair in the shower. There is no furniture outside at all. Large yard and porches where you have no amenities to sit or enjoy the outdoors. There’s 3 queen beds but if you have more than 4 people, you get charged extra. Pet friendly but with a non refundable fee which isn’t advertised in the post. Owner sends you a set of their rules which violate Vrbo policies. Very disappointed for the money I spent, we visit every year and know not to book here again.

We’re glad we could accommodate your request for early check in and offered a later check out prior to your stay with us to enjoy it all!! We apologize for your concerns regarding the pillows and hair. We have addressed these items with our cleaning company to help ensure they are not an issue for future guests. The small game room also has a dartboard and there are box games in the home as well. We also wish you had contacted us regarding the new TV and any wires you noticed during your stay. We would have been happy to come by and check everything to make sure it was safe and functioning properly. For future reference, information regarding pets and applicable pet fees, as well as property boundaries, is provided to all guests. We hope this information helps ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for everyone. Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback.

Perfect place for my bud and I to fish a couple of days. Great location and access to river and beyond. Definitely stay there next trip to Homosassa. Don’t forget your own soap and shampoos.

Great place to stay for boating fishing restaurants close by

Property in Great Location private it does not have a fish cleaning station which would be very nice for people fishing

Spring Break vacation

We loved the location of the house and we were able to keep our boat docked to take out for fishing. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. Close proximity to everything we wanted to do! Will definitely be back!

Lovely place

This lovely home is in a great location that allows you to take advantage of all that Homosassa has to offer. Great for boating and enjoying the view of the river. The hosts were very accommodating and always got back to us in timely manner whenever we had any questions. Looking forward to our next visit!

Great place and very convenient to everything. Parking can be tight (3 cars and no boat trailer).

Property owner was very easily accessible by phone and offered to help in anyway possible (including where to park trailer if needed).

Great house with a boat dock!

My wife & I spent 5 days at this lovely place in Homosassa, FL. We were able to launch our 20 ft Bay boat at the nearby public boat launch and park it right behind the house at a private dock. We had easy access to the river and the Gulf for fishing and boating. The house itself is large & roomy (& pet friendly). The town of Homosassa has a lot of good places to eat & drink. We really enjoyed our stay.

Homosassa getaway

Nice clean home. Well equipped kitchen. Boat dock was a plus. Parking was limited. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Thank you for your review. We like to inform everyone that as most rentals on the water, parking is limited to the driveway and garage. There is a canopy that can be shared with the neighbor if requested. However our neighbor was there the same weekend you were our guests. This is another reason we limit the number of guests, especially if they mention having multiple vehicles.

Homosassa house

This homosassa house was had an amazing location with a doc that fit our 2 boats. The house was very clean and we loved the bonus space downstairs with the pool table and ping pong table.

Scallop trip

Location was great easy to navigate to scalloping and Springs. House was nice , just needs living room furniture that is comfortable. Everything else was great.

Labor Day Homosassa

Great location, great weather, good boat dock on canal just off the River. Scallops were sparse but we found enough for a meal. 3rd time .

Very responsive and helpful. Had an issue with sink draining and plumber was sent out in hours. TV in living room has burned in spots.Property in a great location. Dock has power and will take 25ft boat. Caution at low tide entering River. Would definitely rent again.

Excellent, owners cleaned up waterfront property within 2 days after Hurricane Idalia stormed through. Good dock for tie-up of 24' boat. Great scalloping and fishing in Homosassa Bay.

Great location!

Thank you for sharing your home! Great location for Gulf fishing and scalloping. House is roomy and comfortable. Comfortable beds. I had brought my own microwave cooking bowl, otherwise had to use the dinnerware for that. Nice boat dock. We had a great time!
