Plan your meals and pack your groceries because once you arrive you're not going to want to leave. This cabin is amazing. It's private, clean, and the view... Well the view is why you'll not want to leave. Our family spent hours sitting on the back deck just enjoying each other's company and staring off into the landscape. If you do venture away from the cabin, there are plenty of places to explore. We loved it and hope we can book it again the the future.

Beautiful cabin
Beautiful cabin above LakeLure. Gravel road a little scary. Bore bees are really eating outside rails and wood. Hopefully they can do something to stop them.

Thank you for sharing about your stay, Marcia. We are glad that you were able to enjoy the views and the cabin. Carpenter bees can be active this time of the year, but we will contact the pest control company to come and re-spray for them again. We wish you all the best and hope to host you again soon.

Awesome views
My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house is large and comfortable. The views are magnificent from every room. The location feels remote but is actually quite convenient to restaurants, grocery store and Chimney Rock Village. I do advise anyone who is considering this home to be aware that there is only one true parking space. Any additional cars have to park on the side of a gravel road. But there is no traffic whatsoever so it’s not a big problem.
Overall, I highly recommend this home!
