Welcome to Bear Trail Lodge
Bear Trail Lodge sits on 27 acres and is surrounded by state forest, plenty of trails for snowmobiling - ATV - Horseback or hiking the susquehannock Trail, Bear Trail Lodge has 6000 square feet of living space and 2000 square feet of outside deck space, Bear Trail Lodge is a handcrafted build log cabin that is a piece of art build in 2009, has 5 bedrooms a great room with stone fireplace, satellite 55'' TV and build in surround sound system to listen to your favorite music. The house is completely stock furnished with everything you will need including linens, etc. even firewood so your entire family or group can relax in comfort.

Bear Trail Lodge is only 15 minutes from Cherry Springs State Park which is a very popular place for star gazing, 20 minutes from Coudersport; or come and fish the native trout streams; Sinnemahoning state park to see the Pa Elk; Ski Denton for skiing; golf at the Coudersport Golf Club; visit Lyman Run State Park..

Bear trail lodge was the perfect place for my family to stay. Lots of amenities and plenty of room. The owner Sam was responsive regarding questions about our stay.

My family had a great 5 nights at Bear Trail Lodge. Check in was very easy, it was clean, beautiful inside and out. The scenery was incredible, my kids drive down to Prouty Park which was about a 5 minute drive to do some hiking. The pond on the property has little sunny’s which were biting nonstop. We weren’t sure where to go for fishing otherwise. The closest convenience store was about 1/2 hour away, so make sure you bring everything you need. All the necessities were provided and it was nice having a washer and dryer. I 100% would recommend BTL to everyone and hopefully we’ll be back!

The log cabin is very nice. Beds were comfortable. The property is good for pets and kept clean from previous pets. The view is lovely and the location quiet, which made for a refreshing time. The kitchen was very well supplied with all the right tools and equipment. The fireplace was very nice too. We enjoyed ourselves on our quick vacay.

This is place is absolutely amazing! It is very accommodating for all ages. The cabin was spotless and had all the needed amenities needed for the stay. The owner was quick to respond to a few questions we had before arriving. We will definitely be coming back to stay!

Great fly fishing excursion with friends and family and Bear Trail Lodge is everything you could ask for. Highly recommend staying here.

The lodge was even better in person. Very picturesque and very clean, and quiet. The lodge had everything you could need and the host was very responsive to any questions and was very pleasant and thoughtful. Perfect spot for our small Wedding under the stars! Just gorgeous with stunning views of the night sky.
