Longview Cottage with views to compliment its name and close to cooperstown

This is home was built 19 years ago it is fully furnished with new furniture. There is an attached 3 car garage but is used for storage. The property sits on 5 acres. If you like to Hike, there is a local trail 1.5 miles away (Texas school house walking trail) and 10 miles away is gilbert lake State Park with plenty of trails and a Lake and beach. There is no hunting on the property, but you can also visit any of the local state parks for that. In the winter you can ride snowmobile or cross-country ski. There is several golf courses within 15 min of the property. If you just want to relax and take in the views, you won't be disappointed. There is fireplace inside. There are plenty of outdoor activities with several lakes nearby for fishing and boating. If you like beer and wine, there is also several wineries and brewery in the area. If you are here for the baseball camps, they are both 20 to 25 min away.

Beautiful, clean, quiet and scenic. We were there for baseball at Dreams Park and the drive is only 20 minutes. Very peaceful. We were able to make all meals ourselves bc of the well equipped kitchen and that was HUGE. Would return again and recommend to others :) communication was quick and easy.

Clean home with all amenities as described, and even more. Hospitable host with easy communication. Peaceful atmosphere and view with amazing star gazing. Highly recommend!

It takes about 21 minutes to get to Dreams Park. Very secluded and clean. We don't have pets but we could imagine it is good for that. Very spacious and open. Very easy check in and 0 issues for our week.

The property was beautiful, exactly what e were looking for. The house was clean and had just about everything we needed. The fireplace was nice to have. We loved sitting on the back deck to watch the sunset. Highly recommend. We're planning to return again.

A winter wonderland oasis. Loved the views, privacy and amenities. Jacuzzi and fireplace easy to use and in excellent condition. Well stocked pantry. Clean and spacious.

It was perfect. My dogs love it. We stayed over the weekend and decided to just relax and sleep. I would highly recommend and come back again for the next winter.

The place was lovely and clean upon arrival. We will definitely be returning there in the warmer weather to enjoy the property and nearby area to the fullest. Just to add to the wonderful stay, you get to enjoy cows outside.

We absolutely loved our stay!! Check in was seamless and you cannot beat the views!! Beautiful sunsets on the back deck! The house was clean and had everything we needed. It was the perfect location for our day trips or just to stay in and relax. Highly recommend for a quick or extended stay!

The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed without being cluttered. It was probably the most quiet and scenic location at which we have stayed at a VRBO property.

I grew up nearby in the town of Springfield Center in 1985 I enlisted in the Navy and served 6yr and was aboard the USS Silverside (SSN(679) in 1991 I moved to San Diego to work on Submarines . As I came home for visits I missed the beautiful landscape and outdoor activities Upstate NY has to offer so in 2000 I moved back home and started my own contracting business that I am still doing today

I built this house in 2006 for a customer in 2012 he moved and I purchased the home because it borders my property and I wanted to help my daughter get into a home

The views the rolling hills and the peace and quite . The only thing that should startle you out here is the wildlife I have been all over the country and I still believe that this is one of the most beautiful place I have ever been.
