Goode Beach Retreat

Goode Beach Retreat is fully self-contained waterfront home, featuring two queen size bedrooms and one bedroom with two king single beds. The house contains an open living and dining area with all the comforts of a home making it ideal for families and couples.

The Family Room overlooks the ocean with a passage to the deck, and contains a large LCD television, DVD Player, large selection of DVD's & CD's which the whole family can enjoy. The kitchen has beautiful views of the ocean and equipped with all the modern appliances including dishwasher, Nespresso Coffee machine, new and stylish dinner and cook ware, toaster, blender, bread maker, rice cooker, milkshake maker, waffle maker and other modern accoutrements. The house has 2 bathrooms, a complete laundry and a sunroom, perfect for an afternoon of rest and relaxation. A sheltered entertaining area is equipped with an outdoor setting and a new BBQ. We have 2 kayaks complete with life jackets and paddles, 2 Mountain Bikes (1 Male, 1 Female) plus 3 kids bikes all complete with helmets, surf boards and body boards, beach chairs and more.

Relax and Enjoy your very own Beachfront Paradise, at the Goode Beach Retreat. It is a beautiful, spacious and well situated holiday house. Nestled in King Georges Sound with it's many islands framed against the backdrop of Mount Manypeaks, you can enjoy your own private panoramic views of the stunning southern WA coast lines.

This holiday home is a mere two minute walk from the sky blue waters, and silky sand of Albany's Goode Beach. The home is in close proximity to Albany's various tourist attractions, including and not limited to The Whaling Station, Blowholes, Gap, Natural Bridge, Salmon Holes and Wind Farm. Sharing the boarder to Tondirup National Park, there are many tranquil bush, forest walks and coastal paths to take in the beautiful sights.

The house is child-friendly, and a quintessential family holiday destination. It is a quiet place to relax, enjoy the stunning views, and have a quite stroll, splash or leisurely kayak in Goode Beach. Albany historic town centre is only a short drive away and the local wineries are well worthwhile visiting.

Everything was clean and well presented. Hostess provided immediate response when we made a query. Only suggestion to replace coffee macine which requires a dollar a coffee pod with an air fryer. Family had used house before so we knew it met our requirements.

A spacious, comfortable house with stunning views

Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Goode Beach Retreat. The house is very spacious and comfortable, and equipped with everything we could need. The views are stunning even in wet winter weather. We could see whales in the bay from our front verandah. We definitely hope to stay again!

Six Days in Heaven

A truly wonderful experience from Swimming, Beach Walking and visiting local attractions. The views and ambiance of this property are exceptionable. It is 'out of town' but that insures 'peace and quiet'

Perfect retreat

A beautiful space in a stunning location. Easy walk to the beach with silky white sand and clear water. I could hear the sound of the sea at night. We watched the moonrise.

Goode Beach at its best

The property was exactly as per the listing description and better, it was clean and well presented in all aspects. Ceiling fans in all bedrooms and a washing machine and dryer.The weather wasn't great but we kept warm and cosy indoors as the house was so comfortable AND the views are spectacular. Thank you Galina, we will be back.

Tranquil stay at Goode Beach Frenchman Bay

Enjoyed a very peaceful three night stay at Goode Beach. Well equipped house with plenty of room for grown family of four. Clean and good supply of pantry staples. Heating was combustion wood heater which tested my fire-making skills (luckily for me the owner supplied plenty of dry wood, newspaper and fire-starter blocks). View was spectacular and spotted humpback whales from the kitchen window. Would happily return to stay again.

Awesome Views

Walked in to a very pleasant surprise on the kitchen bench...a lovely gift box of Chocolates, Choc wafers and a very nice bottle of Shiraz! Yum! Very thoughtful of you, thank you! Had the best time here. Relaxing, peaceful and quiet stay. House was very well equipped and clean! The fireplace, together with the incredible views from the bedroom, lounge and kitchen gave the whole house a beautiful ambience. A real treat was hearing the waves and seeing the stars from front bedroom whilst lying in bed at night! Friendly neighbour's walking their dogs, lovely beach for long walks and close proximity to a variety of sightseeing in the area was a bonus. Especially the Historic Whaling Station. Heaps of chopped firewood supplied, thank you., Fantastic kitchen with everything there, very well stocked for cooking, plenty of bench space, decent sized fridge, and that view! Comfy beds with fresh crisp linen, and cozy doonas. Ensuite shower was of good size with room to move, and plenty of hot water. Sitting out on the balcony being mesmerized by the scenic, panoramic view, over the pristine ocean, and beyond, to the native birds chirping way, was truly bliss and tranquil. We throughly ejoyed our 5 night stay, and we didn't want to leave! Highly recommend for Couples, and Families too. Would love to return in the Summer months for Swims at your gorgeous beach. Thank you Joby and Galina. We throughly enjoyed our stay. 10 Stars from us! xxx

Stunning Property

This was a fabulous property. It was sparkling clean when we arrived, it has good quality furniture in excellent condition. The pictures do not do it justice. The rooms were a generous size, with lots of storage space. The kitchen was great, with a bunch of great modern appliances; dishwasher,coffee machine, rice cooker - even a paster roller! We were greeted with a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates and some basic foodstuffs in the pantry and fridge. The view over Goode Beach is stunning and we never tired of looking at it. We were less than 5 minutes walk from the beach. Location close to tourist attractions; whaling stations, gap, misery beach, natural bridge etc. We can't wait to go back again.
