Best place to stay in Cape Bridgewater. Beautiful, historic home with glorious views and lakes, beaches, caves and trails at the doorstep. Loved the cosy fireplaces and fully equipped kitchen. We had a koala come up to the house one evening! Viona and Hayne are wonderful hosts who really care about your experience. Thank you, we will be back.

The host's have been a pleasure to deal with throughout the whole experience. The place in general was absolutely lovely with everything that we needed. And with world class views.

Beautiful location, great house

The Lakehouse is set in a wonderful, scenic location, is very comfortable and well-equipped. Great place to explore the Cape Bridgewater are and Great South West Walk.

We loved our stay here! The views of the lakes and caves from the house, as well as the ocean from the top of the hill are stunning. Such a comfortable and spacious house and property. Beautiful place

The house was amazing. Everything about it was amazing including the history of the house, the renovations on the house, the views from the property, the welcoming of the owners, and the activities in the area. We will definitely stay there again if we get a chance.

Feels like home

Immediately felt like we were 'home' as soon as we arrived. A beautiful space to spend a rainy weekend enjoying good food, nature and time away with friends :)

An amazing stay

The Lake House is an exceptional place to stay with sweeping vistas and being close to nature. It truly is wonderful this family shares this beloved historical property with others. The home is very welcoming, well appointed with different spots to sit, enjoy and relax. The fires kept us cosy and were a treat after a day walking and exploring. We had a wonderful stay and will be back!

Restful, relaxing and revigorating.

A beautifully presented home in a stunning location. Attention to detail was second to none. Very comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and warm cosy fire. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay.

Very Relaxing Stay

We had a lovely relaxing time. The peacefulness and even with the cold weather the property had a warm charm about it, then add the fire places, definitely worth the stay. The hosts are lovely to deal with. My friends and I needed this break away and we thank you.

Peace and Quiet

Our family stayed 2 nights but I wish we had longer! Such a beautiful property in a magical location. So peaceful and full of native wildlife and raw nature. We’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful inside and out

Absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Lakes House. The house was spacious, well equipped and homely. There was so much to do: caves, hills, lakes, exploring, beach, walks and stars. We hope to come back again one day.
