We had a very pleasant stay. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, The location was convenient, and the hosts were friendly and responsive. Overall, a great experience and we would happily stay here again.

We stayed at this property for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The property is immaculate and as promised on the listing. The perfect location.

We Love our Annual Trip to Summer Bay!

We re-book this house every year for our annual family trip to Hat Head, the hosts are very pleasant and easy to work with and have made continual upgrades to the home every year. we look forward to our stay next year :)

The perfect holiday home - comfy, beautiful new bathroom and with everything you need. Minutes walk from the beach (ideal to take in the sunrises with a cuppa) and next door to the local convenience store. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect, clean, excellent position

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Clean, tidy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Even better was having the shop next door for yummy bacon and egg rolls, essentials and alcohol. Highly recommend!!!

Lovely old style Hat Head cottage.

Very relaxed, low key accomodation. Close to beach and shops. Hopefully the cafe next door will be open again soon. Don’t forget to bring your own salt and pepper!

Summer Bay at Hat Head

This property fulfilled all that was promised. It was clean, well stocked with necessary items and is in a central location. I highly recommend it.

Blissful hat head holiday

We had a lovely time staying at Summer Bay cottage. The cottage was the perfect location and we could bounce between the creek, the beach, and the bowling club easily. Our toddler loved the passion fruit vine and riding her bike around the driveway. It was also so handy being right next to the cafe so could easily get coffees every morning! Thank you for having us!

The perfect family-friendly retreat

We had a delightful stay at this well-located property, surrounded by the calm and charm of a peaceful area. Everything we needed was within walking distance—the general store, the beach, the bowling club, and a playground. The house was just what we wanted—comfortable, child-friendly, and met all our expectations. While we missed out on the cafe, which was opening the week after our visit, this spot was better than the beachfront options as they had mosquitoes where this did not. Dealing with the owners was a breeze and made our experience smooth and enjoyable. The linen, towels and toiletries also made it an easy experience and having access to a washing machine with a toddler was great. Highly recommend this lovely accommodation for a relaxing family getaway!
