The Shack at Port Clinton – Welcome!

• Pet-friendly: Fully fenced front and back yards for your furry friends.
• Comfortable living: Reverse cycle heating and cooling, plus accommodation for up to 6 people across three bedrooms (queen, double, bunk with single and double).
• Fully equipped: Kitchen and lounge with ocean views, digital TV, DVD player, and all essentials included.
• Relax: Spacious, shady veranda—perfect for unwinding and enjoying the sea breeze.
• Budget: great value, in a beautiful position with fantastic views. To keep things simple (and affordable), we don’t provide extras. (BYO bedding & linen, tea & coffee, internet). Other than that, everything’s yours to enjoy—make yourself at home!

• Just 125 km from Adelaide, Port Clinton offers sandy beaches, great fishing, and crabbing (Sept–April).
• Explore the 6 km Mangrove Walk to Price.
• Visit the general store, swim in the community pool, play bingo, or discover Clinton Conservation Park and its abundant birdlife.
• Enjoy scenic drives, bushwalking, museums, and golf across the beautiful Yorke Peninsula.

History:
Matthew Flinders first explored this coastline in 1802. Once an important shipping hub, the area holds rich stories, from its early settlers and jetty days to the nearby historic town of Price, now known for salt mining and classic local buildings.

Nice quiet place to relax. Good size yard for my 3 dogs to play in and lay in the sun. Locals are friendly.

Lovely location, very clean and comfortable property. Heating worked very well - heated all the bedrooms. Enjoyed dinner at the local Community & Sports Club.

Beautiful town, lovely locals

Cute property, very well maintained. Beautiful town and wonderful weekend away. Overall great stay and using the the app to book and communicate made it very easy. Extra bonus we were able to have our dogs. 😊

Beautiful location and very comfortable and tidy property. Located on the water front in best location in town. The town itself is a hidden gem. Stayed with young child and elderly parent, the property was suitable for all of us. Would definitely stay again

Weekend get away

We love going to this shack with our border collies. Has everything you need for a short get away and be able to take your fur babies with you. Highly recommend.
