Fabulous location with great beach views and close to shops. Spacious, comfortable, well equipped house. Perfect for larger groups/ families. Highly recommended. Appreciated the early check in and late check out as well.

This property offered unassuming comfort for our group of 7 women to celebrate 55 years of friendship. Warm comfy bedding, multiple living spaces, inside and out. Perfect for families including both young and teenage kids. Just enough of everything to make it a home away from home. Lynette is an excellent, friendly and accommodating host. Instant replies to messages and even prepared to return forgotten items by post.

Perfect location. Plenty of room, beds and seating for our group of extended family. Lots to do. Love the front and back deck areas for sitting outside even when raining.

This is our 5th time staying here and we can’t fault it. The perfect spot right across from the beach, great front garden with a deck to enjoy the view and its fenced so the little ones can run around safely. 30 second walk to the town Centre. House is nice and spacious, lots of rooms. It’s our fave place to go as a bigblended family. We will be back!

Another lovely stay at Bluff cottage, this time with girlfriends rather than family. Location is perfect and the place is actually better than the photos show. Really hard to find a place where we can get a bedroom each and this was just why we needed. Last time I stayed was summer, this time we had some wet and cool weather days so it was lovely to be able to make use of the log fire. I don’t think there is anything we’d need that this place doesn’t have. It’s so well set up.
A book and a view across to the water… can’t get much better.

A great family gathering house

This was our second stay at The Bluff Cottage, and once again it was fantastic. I would highly recommend this family friendly house ...so close to beach and shops. So many rooms to choose to sleep in.

Great house and location

Fantastic location across the road from the beach. Lots of room for a large family. The kids loved the games room. We enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Great location and easy to deal with

We spread my Nans ashes from the St Leanords pier Saturday morning and we had family all in the one house, very convenient and close to everything Great Spot

Fabulous for family and friend groups. So much space and great amenities.

We celebrated mums birthday with 7 adults and 2 teenagers. There was plenty of space, lovely views and handy location.

Our stay

Great spot lovely property, well maintained and well appointed suited our needs to a tee, 6 couples with sleeping arrangements to suit, and to have the second kitchen in the cottage made meal times a breeze. Would highly recommended this property.

Great family holiday house

Bluff cottage was perfect for our weekend in St Leonards for a family wedding. Plenty of room for our extended family. Kids loved the big backyard and games room. Great location across the road from the water and playground and a short walk to the pub for dinner. Homely place perfect for for young families.

Family holiday

Lynette was a great host and the property perfect for us. The view ti the ocean was gorgeous and even with winter weather keeping us inside the fireplace was delightful. Lynette was a great host, easy to communicate with, and even put out thoughtful touches based on things we’d said. Would absolutely stay again!

What a great property! The house itself was so big and cosy and the location is perfect. Short walk to the beach, pier, pub, coffee shops and IGA. Thank you and we’ll be back!

Here's a more fun and lively version of your review: We just wrapped up our second girls' weekend at Bluff, and let’s just say, it won’t be our last! This place nails the location—steps from the beach and a quick stroll to the shops. But the real magic is in the house itself—beautifully set up, super cozy, and perfect for our getaway. Can’t recommend this spot enough! Already counting down to next year!

Celebrating 60

Couldn't pick a better location - across the road from the beach/pier, around the corner from the shopping strip and the pub within easy walking distance. We felt 'at home' with plenty of living space and room for the extended family. The games room was a winner. A great weekend was had by all.

80th Birthday

Large, well used and comfortable. Well heated, lots of separate living spaces. Well priced at 20% less than most others of similar size.
