If you are searching for THE COOLEST house in Wisconsin that's timeless and refreshing - you've found the place! Adeline's is the perfect weekend getaway - just 3 hours north of Chicago...and we would love you host you!

The coolest house in Wisconsin is located in Green Lake County on Lake Puckaway. Adeline's House of cool has over 300 feet of channel frontage and is surrounded by a meticulously maintained private estate. This Wisconsin cabin rental has a 20-foot long and 6-foot deep custom-built hot tub and a pool table in the game room.

*Adeline's House Of Cool is a stained glass treasure trove! Brian (the owner and Adeline's architect) is an avid stained glass maker and collector. His love for light is mimicked throughout the house with beautiful pieces from all over the world.

Adeline's cabin rental has a fully equipped kitchen, two separate dining areas, a BBQ patio with a hot tub and pool table. The game room was created with fun in mind; there's an antique jukebox, a piano, a pinball machine, a slot machine, a 20-foot bar, and a huge cozy wood-burning stone fireplace.

A large staircase leads to the second floor where there are 6 bedrooms, each with private access to the wrap-around porch. There are 5 porch swings, 2 swinging day beds, and a fireman's pole (connecting the upstairs porch to the 20-foot hot tub room).

The coolest house in Wisconsin has its own additional great room lounge, complete with a grand stone fireplace fit for a palace and a plethora of exotic, antique taxidermy pieces: a 10-foot tall mounted Grizzly Bear, a Bison, a Walrus, Lions, and an Antelope and much more.

You will feel like royalty as a 550-pound antique chandelier from the famous Bellagio Hotel greets you as you drive up to the house. Brian couldn't leave Vegas without it!

Want more? We recently installed a 40-foot steel stained glass awning to the facade of Adeline's House. There are an obscene amount of antiques here, some favorites being our restored popcorn truck and a vintage London phone booth. Last year, Adeline's received a pair of custom-built 10-foot french doors, ooh la la!

Fabulous house!! The beds were very comfortable. So much fun for the family. We thoroughly enjoyed all the gaming activities. The lounge furniture needs an upgrade.

The house was everything we had hoped for. Plenty of space and lots of interesting things for everyone of all ages. It was great to cook in and just be together without the hubbub of tourism nearby.

Staying here was an experience! Something to do or look at in every nook and cranny of the house. The umbrella garden and immense porches we were looking forward to did not disappoint. Both Tom (caretaker) and Brian (Owner) were communicative and friendly. The place was enjoyed from the 6 year old to the 80 year old alike! I will recommend staying here.

Perfect place for our family Christmas

This house is one of the coolest places we’ve stayed. The property is full of so many unique details & everyone had a blast exploring! The bar/fireplace/game room was the perfect space to relax and create memories with the family! The hot tub was a huge bonus! Brian & Tom were very I formative and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. We will be back!

Annual Family Vacation

We had 12 adults, 4 children ages 1-6, and family dogs. Brian is a fantastic host and he checked in daily. Tom the caretaker was also great and handled the hot tub during our stay. We loved the property, the home, and the nearby Princeton Flea Market, Amish Oven Fresh Bakery, and Mishler's Amish Country Store. Fishing out in the channel was super convenient and we caught Perch, Bluegill, and a catfish. Great home for larger families!

City folks fun!

Our group stayed for a few days during our spring break and had the best time! The weather was a bit chilly but kids spend most of the time in the hot tub! The bar area was well loved by everyone, playing games or just hanging out. We enjoyed learning the history of the property as well as exploring all the interesting things. We hope to make it back when the weather is warmer to explore the area more. Excellent communication with both Tom and Brian, very attentive!

An Amazing Experience.

The quality and variety of items collected and displayed in the home is unbelievable. There isn't a room, wall, corners, etc. that there isn'y something unique to see. For those that have bee to the House On The Rock in Wisconsin, it is like a mini-version of it.

Amazing experience!

Wow! We had an awesome time at Adeline’s House of Cool Retreat! A wonderful place for family to relax and enjoy quality time together. The decor was incredible with fun themes and antiques and a thoughtful scavenger hunt upon arrival. The hot tub was fantastic. Outdoor spaces for relaxing and yard games were sprawling and beautiful. A perfect set up for both congregating areas for meals and games, as well as quiet nooks for reading. Loved the whimsical umbrella garden! Exceeded our expectations. Wonderful for children, teens and adults! We hope to return!

Very unique house.

Both inside and outside was unique and beautiful. You can spend many hours just looking at all of the items on the wall. Had many things to entertain both adults and a toddler. The owner was very responsive, checking in daily to see if we needed anything. The location on the website could be more accurate. Listing makes it sound like it is in the dells which it is not. Its around 50 minutes away. But owner was up front with that after I made the reservation and said I could cancel if i wanted to.

Great Family Vacation Site

My family spent a great week at Adeline's. The house truly is amazing, with so many things to look at and so many things to do. My 10 yr old grandson learned to play pool and corn hole. He and my 2 yr old granddaughter spent hours in the huge indoor hot tub every day - the caretaker, Tom, turned the hot tub temperature down to 80 degrees making it perfect for the kids - and they didn't get overheated. There are many stained glass windows are beautiful - including a huge awning over the front entrance. Everywhere you look, there is something new to see and investigate. The outdoor living is terrific at Adeline's - we loved having coffee every morning on the screened upstairs wrap around porch. The property is set on an inlet of lake Puckaway. There is lots of room outside for the kids to run around. There is a secluded "umbrella garden" that was perfect for the 2 yr old since it was surrounded by shrubs so she couldn't wander off. The owner, Brian, was very responsive - even though he lives in Chicago. For example, Adeline's has bikes for the renters to use, but no helmets (maybe there are no helmet laws in WI?). I texted Brian about helmets and within a couple hours, he had contacted a neighbor and she brought over helmets for us to borrow for the week! The kitchen at Adeline's is perfect for cooking and grilling - I cooked and grilled for our 5 adults/2 kids every night. There were 2 coffee makers so we never ran out of coffee in the morning. There was also a griddle for making pancakes. There is an extra charge for having access to the laundry room, but it was well worth it for having that convenience. The area around Adeline's is fairly remote - 20 minutes to the nearest Piggly Wiggly, but there is plenty to do in the house. We also took a day trip over to Wisconsin Dells (about an hour drive) to see the Dells and do some touristy activities. We saw numerous Amish families riding in their horse and biggies, which was cool to see. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to visit the local Amish store I highly recommend Adeline's for a family or group vacation. With the 6 bedrooms and tons of sitting areas, there is room to spread out - but also to gather - the kitchen table, with bench seating, probably could seat 12. Adeline's is a place to make lots a great memories!

Girlfriend Christmas

Our group of 8 had a wonderful weekend at Adeline’s! This place is so cool, so much fun to check out all the unique things. We had outdoor fires, indoor fireplaces on Main level and 2nd floor. Comfy beds, enough space to spread out and everything we needed. Property manager Tom was responsive and the owner made sure it was nothing less than perfect! Thanks for sharing your house of cool with us!

My dream House! A vintage lovers dream!

The place was amazing. There was so much look at that you'd notice something new every time around. So much to interact with. Beautiful property, owner went above beyond to make sure that we were enjoying ourselves by contacting us every day. Even on Thanksgiving! Everything was so interesting. So many photo opportunities as well! There are so many great things I can say, that were fun little surprises for us, but I will let you decide when you book your stay. You won't regret it!

If you are interested in finding something unusual to do you have to stay at Adeline's House of Cool. It was like staying in a museum from the past. The home as well as the yard surrounding the home was beautiful. This is an experience I will never forget.

You won't want to leave! UNBELIEVABLE!this place!

Adelines is the most amazing, relaxing, interesting, altogether, has everything you need down to the dish soap! OUR family found new things to look at until the day we left, fun things to do in the vacinity within 20 mins. Our family will be back every year! The host was absolutely 💯 % there for us, giving information on fun events going on in the area, and just making sure we were doing ok! I could go on, but Our family says do it, you won't be disappointed!

It's more than just a place to stay. It's a destination.

We booked Adeline's for our family to reconnect, having stayed apart for most of the covid year. Adeline's was the perfect place to do this. The adventure began as soon as we arrived. Our host Brian's attention to detail and personalized touches ensured we felt at home. Check in was only eventful in that there was a letter waiting for us in the mailbox with helpful pointers and a scavenger hunt we couldn't wait to start.. A few hours after our arrival, Tom the caretaker came by to give us a tour. Honestly, you could probably spend a month there and still discover new things. We played board games, cards, corn hole, pinball, slots and pool. We soaked in the hottub, slid down the firepole, and watched movies. We bonded, but had space for alone time as well. There's so much to do there, we can't wait to go back! Adeline's isn't just a place to stay. It's a destination.

An excellent family vacation for adults

We had such a great time. Everything was perfect for our arrival. We had unlimited fun things to do, explore, talk about and look at. There is NO way the photos can do it justice. You wouldn't believe the thought that went into every little detail. On top of that, Brian, the owner, and Tom, the manager, were both incredible to work and deal with. A New Annual Destination!

We rented Adeline's House of Cool for a family vacation and we could not have been happier. This place is really incredible from the decor, to the accommodations, to the life-changing hot tub room. (We all decided we will not be able to rest until we have a dedicated hot tub room in our own homes.) Even though it rained the entirety of our stay, the house is so spacious and has so many fun things to do that we didn't even mind the weather. This place is a true treasure and we decided unanimously to make our trip to Adeline's an annual event. Can't wait to come back next year!
