Fabulous Centro Home-Away-From-Home

Casa Perro Loco is wonderful. We can’t say enough about how comfortable and beautiful it is. We will choose this home for all our future travel to Mérida. Highly recommend!

Nice place

The clean, centrally located two-bedroom house looked exactly like in the photos. It was a quiet neighbourhood and lived up to what I was expecting.

Amazing house!

The house is really beautifully decorated and very comfortable, very well equipped with quality amenities. Communication with the host was very easy. They made our stay a great experience providing a full catalogue of places to visit / go to eat etc. Highly recommended!

Great place to stau

Overall, the house was fabulous. The management team was super helpful. They even picked us up and drove us to the location. They recommended restaurants arrange for a tour. Just awesome to deal with.

Amazing experience

The house was everything we hoped for and more. We were very comfortable. The owner and his team went above and beyond to tend to our needs and requests. I highly recommend booking with Burro y Flauta. Their properties are stunning, comfortable and well-located. Gracias for a wonderful experience

Explore Merida

My husband and I first time to Merida. Lots of improvements being made to infrastructure. Restaurant selections were very good and people are very kind. Get out early then come in during the heat of the day go back out for the evenings.

Fabulous casita and excellent location

When things go smoothly one remembers what it feels like to relax and just enjoy. That's what we experienced in Casa Perro Loco. Well kitted out and clean. Excellent location. Excellent design taste and little details like real blackout curtains in the bedrooms made for a wonderful stay. Kitchen is well stocked with the necessary tools including a toaster.

Beautiful, Incredible House with an Amazing Pool

The house is incredible! The tile floors and high ceilings are beautiful! Everything’s very clean. Beds are comfortable. The pool offers the perfect place to cool off with utmost privacy. Property manager answers questions quickly. My daughters and I really enjoyed our time at this house.

Beautiful home in a beautiful city

Casa Perro Loco is a beautifully renovated colonial home with high ceilings, tile floors, and carved wooden doors. It is exactly as the pictures show with modern kitchen appliances, bathrooms, comfortable beds, and a great patio area with a small pool. The owners and management team are exceptional ! They had great communication and always responded within minutes of any question or request. The house is perfectly located near several parks, restaurants and a market. Once I have stayed in a Burro y Flauta home I will always try them first! Beautiful home in a beautiful city.

Perfect location in Merida

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Merida. The home is just as described, and actually better! Incredibly clean, well stocked, comfortable. Response times and guidance for questions leading up to our trip was remarkable. Very nice to have Beto shop for us before our late arrival so that we had some food waiting for us. He was very helpful in meeting us on arrival and answering all of our questions as first-timers in Merida. The location was perfect for our walks to Santa Lucia (our favorite plaza), the Plaza Grande, Mercado Lucas de Galvez (lots of stuff), Paseo de Montejo. Nice grocery store and market at Plaza Santiago. B y F arranged a driver to Uxmal, Choco-Story, and Mucuyche Hacienda and Cenotes--would recommend that trip. We rented a car and drove to Progreso for a day at the beach (and an interesting meteorite museum.) Overall found Merida to be a great place to visit, easy to get around (walking or driving) and the people are remarkably friendly. Would highly recommend Burro y Flauta! Thanks!

sure to stay again

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The listing was very accurate. Perro Loco is a very comfortable place to stay. The house is well maintained and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. The courtyard by the pool was a tranquil place for morning coffee and a cool dip in the afternoon. It has great showers and laundry, plus comfortable beds and linens, sure to make your stay feel luxurious. The location is in a good neighborhood, not touristy and with modest road traffic. Wonderful restaurants are within a ten minute walk from the house, and we found the walk to favorite markets and restaurants was good to work off all the delicious food that is readily available. Our hosts were very helpful. Alberto was at the house to greet us when we arrived. He was amazingly responsive and very good at setting up a few day trips. Ask for Angel if you need a thoughtful driver or a knowledgeable guide to assist you. Only one small thing to note: the house only has Netflix, you need to have a streaming connection. However you really don’t need TV, Merida has so much to offer. We are sure to stay here again when we are in Merida. This is a lovely home.

Great house, clean, well maintained, safe, ideal for our family of four. Ideal location to explore Merida as well as day trips to Uxmal, Celestun, etc. We would definitely like to return

Wonderful Vacation

I highly recommend this property and anything within the Burro Y Flauta network. They made our stay as smooth as could be. We were truly grateful to them for their responsiveness and support with things like getting groceries in advance of our arrival, child care for our son so we could go on a date, advice on things to do and more. The space it self was jaw-droppingly-beautiful and there were cold beers waiting when we arrived. We will be back.

Merida

This house is a beautiful place. We would definitely rent it again. It has everything you need and OMG the bed and pillows are heaven.

Stunning Well Maintained Unit

This property is almost perfect! So many positives. Becca, the property manager, replied immediately to our enquires. Beto, our concierge, spoke perfect English and gave us a welcome tour of the property. They were very thorough in providing information about what needed to be known to allow a comfortable visit in their unit. They also provided lots of additional information about local restaurants and markets etc.. more importantly, names and numbers for English speaking doctors etc.... Beto gave his email and cell phone number. We had Mike’s, the owners cell phone number. We had a car and felt safe that if a problem arose we had a contact. We are seasoned travellers and were very impressed with the amenities and supplies within this unit. We ended up having to self isolate due to the Coronavirus. We were totally comfortable. Outside street noise level might bother a few....did my husband, not me.
