Casa Playa - Secluded Oasis on the LI Northfork

This recently renovated beach house has the most spectacular views from every room in the house. 2 Outdoor decks and 2 balconies overlooking the beach and the ocean/Long Island Sound. This house will make you feel like a millionaire and there is so much to do out here.
Our beach house is completely secluded and is a paradise for anybody who is looking to enjoy the most outrages panoramic views and love waking up to the sunrise overlooking all of the Long Island Sound.
The beach is a 5 minute walk away and is semi private - during the summer season the water is fairly warm, it is an ideal environment for snorkeling, paddle boarding or kayaking. (we have 2 kayaks, 1 paddle board as well as 4 bicycles available for your use)
Of course you can also just relax on either the beach or on your private decks at the house overlooking all of it.
The house comes with almost everything you need. Fresh linens, towels, fire logs, a fully equipped kitchen with lots of fun stuff like Ninja Mixer, NuWave Oven, Bread Maker, S'mores Maker, Ice cream Maker and a beautiful charcoal grill and a new gas grill on the deck by the kitchen.
We also supply some essentials like coffee, sugar & milk to get you started.
The living room features a new Internet connected 70" 4K TV with Netflix, a Playstation3 and a Wii with plenty of games (including Rockband, Wii fit...)
We purposely do not have cable tv, but we do have DirectTV with the major 5 channels as well as a HD antenna to receive some of the local channels like ABC,NBC and FOX...
The house has a washer and dryer, AC, indoor fire place and outdoor fire table....

SOME IMPORTANT NOTES
- The usage of our bicycles and kayaks require a waiver signed by you prior to arrival..
- We do not include maid or cleanup services, but a weekly cleanup service can be provided at extra cost.
- We do not allow parties to be thrown at our house or any extra guests. This is something that we will enforce 100% and will result in immediate termination of your stay !
- On this note, we do have an outdoor security camera pointing away from the house that monitors incoming traffic - this is due to people having been dishonest about their intentions and for everybody's safety.

The Neighborhood
Wading River and the Northfork have so much to see and do, you will never be bored. From charming restaurants, vineyards, farms, famous bakeries and lobster places to Wildwood State Park, the Tanger outlets, the Aquarium and the Splish Splash to mention a few things to do!

Parking can be a bit of an issue if guests have a large vehicle or more than one vehicle as the house has no driveway.

Best girls weekend getaway

This vacation was a girls weekend. The house is located with great views of the beach. It was an easy walk to the beach. We loved our stay.

Great place to stay! Very "Flexible", as we had some unusual weather, and it was actually fun to be in the house during a freak storm. The location is nice, walking distance to a great restaurant (Watermark), and the beach. In addition to the beaches, Wading River has become a bit of a foodie spot!House has great views from every room, many with views of multiple directions. Great "jumping off" spot to the East End, or just relaxing locally.

Lovely home with beautiful views

Great home to spend with our family. Serene with magnificent views from all three decks. We enjoyed cooking and grilling together and took advantage of all the amazing farm stands in the area.

The excitment you get from the photos is exactly how you'll feel when you get there -- actually more so. This home is simply beautiful; the views of open beach and sky surround you from everywhere, with 4 decks to get out and breathe the air. The kitchen is large, clean and comfortable. We cooked several times during our stay and found all the necessary accoutrements. The amazing third floor has 2 decks, and both bedrooms are spacious, well appointed, and comfortable. The bathroom is modern, well-designed and very roomy. Living room is smartly organized and the furnishings high quality and tasteful, Wading River turned out to be an excellent location as you can enjoy the peace of Long Island Sound, great for my grandsons who swam and took out the kayak. We could easily get to the local spots of the North Fork as well as the South Fork. We spent a lot of time at the ocean beaches of the Hamptons without the worry of being stuck on the beach when the weather wasn't worth being there (we had considered staying on Dune Rd in West Hampton). We had a couple of days of pouring rain and it was wonderful to be in the comfort of Casa Playa reading and watching the drama of the weather skirt over the Sound. We lingered every morning in the house, loving our time there, sitting on the deck, reading, just watching the sun rise, or walking out on the beach, collecting stones and shells and going for a very private swim. Highly recommend it! We hope to be back again.

Once Again, Wonderful!!

Casa Playa is a beautiful, private and peaceful year-round home (with truly spectacular views!), and Yolanda and Martin are incredible, caring hosts. This is our third time and we're already thinking about our fourth!

AMAZING views!

I stayed for 2 weeks and really enjoyed the home. I have rented many homes and this one is top of the list when it comes to amenities. Highly recommend. Fun activities for all ages in and outside of the home.

Lovely property

We had a great time during a winter escape at this property. Great views, short walk to the beach, and lots of room to spread out. The fireplace and firepit came in very handy, the kitchen had everything you needed, we never left the whole time we were there. Would highly recommend. Thank you Martin & Yolanda

Simply Wonderful

My husband and I rented this property for a winter getaway and didn’t want to leave! This is more than a very nice, cozy, peaceful and comfortable house with spectacular views. The hosts really go out of their way to make one’s stay enjoyable. Great attention to detail and just the feeling that they care made our stay so much better. In one word, wonderful. 5 stars all around, through and through!!

Lovely stay!

This stunning home is as lovely as advertised. The owners were extremely responsive and helpful. Close to the best North Fork vineyards and farm stands.

Superb!!!

This was our second stay at Casa Playa. Martin and Yolanda have made some improvements (new bathroom upstairs among them) which made the home even better than before. Casa Playa is truly a special and unique place that gave us the peace and enjoyment we desperately needed. Martin and Yolanda are THE best hosts we’ve ever encountered. Once again, wonderful through and through!!

They stock with milk, coffee. Everything you need to ensure you don't have to run to the store. Owners are very gracious and communicate.

Views, views, views and more views!

If you are an ocean lover this is the house for you, I have never seen such beautiful vistas -sunrises and sunsets - surround you. The house is a three story house that commands the sound: you can hear the waves from the main bedroom, the living room, the kitchen. It is really meant for adults though as there is not any privacy ( main bedroom is a loft and shares a bath with kids bedroom). The hosts were very friendly and available. The place is serene and invites relaxation. We loved being there.

Beautiful home with unbelievable view

We had a wonderful stay at Martin and Yolanda’s home. It was a spectacular view of the LI sound and a short walk to the beach. The kitchen had all the equipment necessary to cook family meals and we loved exploring the areas with many farm stands and wineries. Unfortunately, we stayed during the recent hurricane and our stay was cut short due to having no power. The owners could not have been more flexible and understanding and very responsive. We look forward to coming again and would highly recommend the property.

Wading River Getaway

Overall lovely time. Unbelievably peaceful area, very nice neighborhood. The house was spacious and the ocean views were breathtaking. The only thing that renters should be aware of is the master bedroom situation. It is not a private room. When you walk up to the 3rd floor, the master bed sits in more of a landing area. The views are GORGEOUS, however it's open to the other floors and the bunk room is directly behind it. So all bunk room guests need to walk through the master bed area to get to their space. It was not an issue for us...but if you're a large family....just consider sleeping arrangements. The beds were all extremely comfortable and although we were concerned that there was no central air...the window units cooled it off QUICKLY. We were very comfortable and relaxed for our stay. We would definitely visit Martin and Yolanda's property again!

Wading River is the polar opposite from the Hamptons ! It is the perfect place to lay low without all the nonsense of the Hamptons and it is much closer to Manhatten.
Plenty of really nice restaurants, all the shopping and a beach that is quite with calm water - simply said, a paradise!
