Relax in the large living room that has plenty of space for everyone and gas fireplace. The is also an immense yard to play in the yard during all seasons. Situated in popular Dollar Point neighborhood! Minutes from Tahoe City. With wood accents, cathedral ceilings, and ample sky-lights for sunshine, you will have no problem relaxing on your Tahoe getaway.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the back deck in the summer or by the warm and cozy gas fireplace in the winter. The large open living/dining/kitchen area will be where your family gathers for conversation and games. There is a flat screen TV, DVD player, and plenty of seating in the living room. The fully stocked kitchen has all the appliances and amenities needed to cook a fabulous family meal. The private deck off of the upper floor living room overlooks the large over-sized fenced backyard. Surrounded by tall pine trees, our home has a horseshoe pit and built-in BBQ; perfect for relaxing with the family and enjoying the woodsy setting and fresh pine smell.

Maximum number of dogs allowed is 2, additional fees apply per dog.

Parking:
Parking is available for a maximum of 3 vehicles in the driveway (garage unavailable for use). No street parking per county ordinance.
Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.

Other things to Note:
* Renters must be 25+
* This is a non-smoking home.
* Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 10 adults.
* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Use of outdoor furniture is not guranteed in the winter.
* Like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There will be fans available for your use!
* Your safety matters. This property may features exterior security cameras. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras will continuously record video and sound while guests are in residence.

Nice spacious house was perfect for 7 of us, including 2 children and our dogs. Highlight is the large kitchen-living room area for family gatherings. We arrived during a snow storm so everyone enjoyed making snowmen is the backyard. Communication from the hosts was excellent

Lovely cabin...we had a wonderful time. Unfortunately got snowed in after trying to make it home. Ended up in Boomtown for a couple days, which wasn't bad either. Cabin was well equipped! Plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 children, and a dog! Area was very nice for morning walks, tucked away from the hustle bustle, yet close enough to our favorite spots like Commons Beach and Garwoods!

Our stay over the holidays was absolutely amazing. We had an unexpected snow storm that knocked out the wifi for the whole area and the property manager was amazing at keeping us informed. Hot tub was great, yard was VERY pet friendly, there was plenty of room for a family to "weather a storm" & kitchen had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

This home was perfect for our family and friends. It was raining a lot during the first part of our stay so we spend a lot of time indoors with plenty of space for everyone to play games, watch movies, relax or use the hot tub outside. Everything was clean, comfortable beds, plenty of towels for everyone and the washer and dryer worked great. The kitchen had everything you can think of to cook and serve meals for big groups. Would stay here again anytime!

Amazing home! We loved our stay. It was our first time to stay in Dollar Point as well, and couldn’t recommend it more. Property manager was very responsive when needing assistance with the amenities and would definitely consider staying here again.

The fenced backyard was awesome for my friends dogs and the neighborhood is wonderful for dog walking, no off lease dogs encountered. The water in the hot tub really needs to be changed and the house could use a really good deep cleaning. Overall, a great vacation home.

Will definitely book this house again since the yard was particularly good for our daughter who has a dog. The only issue is that the location is not walkable to Tahoe City, so bikes or a car would be needed.

Nice Place

Nice location, great backyard. House has the majority of its living space on the second floor, with kitchen and living room requiring frequent stair use, especially from the 3 lower bedrooms exterior BBQ, which is on located on the upper deck. This could create challenges for people not able to consistently climb stairs, or wish have the back yard and outdoor cooking space on one level. Liked how it was dog friendly, and had an open living room. No air conditioning-so the upper rooms remained sultry, but Tahoe temperatures were uncharacteristically warm. No garage use and driveway was narrow. Neighborhood allowed for nice walks. Overall a nice place but felt dated, and dusty including some lower bathroom shower mold residue, and it was missing what i considered fairly standard cooking supplies like PAM spray and cooking oils. Neat cabin feel however it was inferior in comparison to others places we have stayed for similar price. Again, All of this is just our opinion and we enjoyed our experience in Lake Tahoe.

Nice fenced yard for our dog. cozy fire, nice blankets, seating for all. Cons: Location is at the end of a street with a cars coming and going constantly. It seems to be the main road into the subdivision. Headlights and noise are often. Construction next door beginning each morning at 8:00. Would have been nice to have been told. Would not have rented since there was no sleeping in. Not the fault of the management, but communication is key. Housekeeping notes: Hot water heater needs turning down - scalding hot throughout the home, kitchen sink does not drain well.

Perfect girls weekend

We had a blast! My friends and our pupkids had a such a great time! Yard is fully fenced in and secure. Pups had a great time romping around in 8 inches of fresh snow. So convenient to have access to the backyard from first floor and second floor. Inside the house was great too. Love the open layout for kitchen and living room. Beds were really comfortable. Really nice neighborhood. Easy loop for dog walks with great views of the lake. Will definitely stay here again. We absolutely loved it!

Amazing vacation stay!

This was our one big trip for the summer and this house was amazing! Everything was provided for, cleanliness, supplies, huge luscious back yard and hot tub. It was centrally located in a peaceful neighborhood and right next to the bike path. We would definitely stay here again!

Family Getaway at Dollar Point

Our family vacation was a great experience here. The house was everything we hoped and more. The location is close to Tahoe City, which was convenient. The neighborhood was quiet and perfect for walks around it with nice views. We would highly recommend this property and we hope to stay again sometime soon.

Sweet Dreams Indeed!

This was a perfect cabin for our group of 8, spacious yet cozy. The kitchen was stocked even better than some of our homes-lol! We were all able to relax outside playing horseshoes or soaking in the hot tub. At night, we could all sit around the large dining table and enjoy dinner and games. We absolutely loved all of the nearby amenities including a Safeway and CVS right down the street to stock up the fridge in our way up. And had a great time paddleboarding and soaking up the sun at the nearby Skylandia Park (Lake Forest beach) A perfect home for a perfect getaway.

Could have been better for the price

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros: the rental is spacious, with plenty of bedrooms and a comfortable living area. The yard is huge, which was nice to have for our dog. The yard is fully fenced, though there is one area near the back where a dog could climb over the fence, if motivated. The location is a short walk to the lake, but there is no direct lake access—you stare through a fence. The furniture was very comfortable and clean. The fireplace was warm and cozy. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware, flatware and plates. Some cups were dirty though.Cons: the yard was full of dog poop when we got there despite signs to pick up after your dog, so we spent our arrival picking up dog poop.We were excited about the hot tub, but the water was cloudy when we got there. The manual said to add chlorine and wait 4 hours to use it, so we couldn’t enjoy it on the first night. I think given that check-in is at 4 and checkout is at 10AM, cleanup should occur between reservations. Otherwise it cuts into the time of your stay and you don’t get to enjoy what you paid for the whole time.Most of the apartment is heavily carpeted with older carpet, which felt kind of gross.

They are fully equiped with dishes, pots, spices, towels, etc. Just make sure you treat the hottub, because I didn't realize that was a daily routine. We could not use the community pool or beach, but still close to other beaches.

I already miss the place.

My family and I had a wonderful time, and the house was exactly as shown in the site. Beautiful neighborhood, area, and really close to just about everything. It was clean, had everything you need, and even though it is pretty friendly you could not tell. The only thing that may have been difficult would be the stairs from the deck to the back yard. They were a little difficult to navigate for our two little dogs with short little legs. We had to carry them up and down. Otherwise, the place was amazing!!!!
