Gorgeous heritage home with a beautiful yard and fire pit in Downtown St. John's. Walk to Signal Hill and all the tourist attractions of downtown St.John's, such as numerous pubs, restaurants, and Bannerman Park. George Street and MILE ONE Concert Hall are far enough apart to sober up or take an inexpensive Uber. Close to Family-friendly hikes, a natural swimming pond, Signal Hill (UNESCO site), and East Coast trails, with outstanding ocean views. Spacious, designer-decorated individual suites, each with en-suite bathrooms with views of the harbour in two rooms.

When you book this house, you are booking exclusive use of a recognized heritage Inn. We provide towels and linen changes on request at no extra charge.

The designer decorated Jellybean Inn with Victorian-era cherry decor, ensuring it will provide positive lifelong memories.

Includes BBQ, Fire Pit, high-speed internet, smart/cable TVs, and luxurious feather and breathable cotton bedding. We had the whole house booked with 10 friends for the Brier. The owner was at the site when we arrived which was a good thing as we didn't get an email with the door codes prior to arriving. Carole was great, replied quickly to emails, checked in on us at the house, offered breakfast and assistance with finding local venues. A great experience in an old historic house, well maintained and cared for.

Jellybean Row House

The house was in the perfect location for all 8 of us to explore the sights we wanted to. The rooms were large and well furnished. The house was a little cool in the evening.

Great Family Trip in Perfect Location!

We booked this a year ago and have kept in touch with Carole throughout. She was gracious, accommodating and always available! The place is so charming and the perfect fit for our family! Thank you to Carole and her team as well as all the Newfoundlanders we encountered. It was a fabulous trip!

Wonderful place

The Jellybean was a great spot. We were a group of six co-workers attending a conference at the convention centre. It was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities we could need. It’s a pleasant 20 minute walk to the convention centre which was a great way to start and end the day. Carole was a superb host, always checking in to make sure everything was good. The bedrooms were nicely sized and private. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice to stay at the Jellybean.

The house was even better than expected from the photos and perfect for our large group. The location was very central to a lot of great areas of St. Johns. The vintage vibe of the home was really cool. The primary issue I had was receiving messages from the host saying that she thought we were 6 couples and that she wouldve never rented to 12 men. I was never asked and wouldnt have tried to hide that we were 12 men, and really did not appreciate the implication that because of the demographic of our group that meant we were going to be disrespectful of the property. Furthermore there were complaints that we were loud very late into the night. We were not overtly loud, but these came from a couple in the basement unit. If they had come from a neighbor I could understand receiving complaints about this, but the whole reason I booked on vrbo is because they rent entire homes and not partial spaces. I have given this a higher rating than I wanted to because I do think that most people that book this will very much enjoy their stay and have a better experience than we did . We definatly did not receive the warm Newfoundland welcome here that we experienced everywhere else went.

Wonderful Girls Trip to St. John’s

My wife and four of her childhood friends spent 4 fantastic days in St. John’s. They loved their home away from home and would gladly return! Each person had their own cozy, comfortable bedroom and bathroom and they enjoyed getting together in the living room for evening refreshments and snacks. The location was very convenient and made for a short walk the first night to be Screeched in. The property is very clean and we appreciated the early reach out from Carole. Highly recommend this property, it made a great trip even more memorable.

This was the perfect location to stay at! Close to restaurants, history attractions and the famous George St. LOTS of hills to walk. We booked the hope on / off bus tour which made seeing the sights a lot easier, especially for my elderly parents. Carol was excellent to communicate with. We had a family of 11 so we booked all the rooms in the house. Each room had their own washroom/shower, A/C/ mini fridge and keycode. There was a water park close by and the beds were super comfy!! The place was very clean and had a nice little backyard to enjoy a bbq. A 25 minute drive for our whale watch trip. Thank you for a great vacation Carol!!

Carole was a fantastic host. Her home regularly operates as a B&B, but our group of 9 friends rented the whole place out. The pictures don’t do it justice. It is a beautiful heritage home. All creature comforts you’d want. Comfortable beds, we felt just at home. Carole regularly checked in on what we needed, and made sure our stay was a success. We arrived a day after the Air Canada strike ended, and I got to know Carole on the phone with logistics. She was always engaged supportive and helpful.Location can’t be beat. Can walk to signal Hill hikes, the rooms, all the best restaurants right from the doorstep. Would recommend this to anyone that needs lots of beds for a big group right in town.

The Jellybean Heritage Inn was wonderful! We were a group of 10 friends, (4 couples and 2 singles), and it can be a struggle to find accommodations that work for everyone. This property was absolutely perfect! We were able to secure the entire property for our group which was excellent! Each bedroom has its own ensuite and the entire property is well-appointed. The kitchen has everything you might need and there were plenty of fresh towels for everyone! The property was super clean and well-maintained and we felt immediately comfortable the moment we arrived. Our host, Carole, could not have been more attentive and friendly. She was very helpful and patient in responding to some of our questions leading up to our trip, and she checked in several times during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. We could not have been happier with our stay at the Jellybean Heritage Inn and we wholeheartedly would recommend it to everyone!

An amazing stay in a lovely property. Location was one of the most important things for our group as we weren't able to rent a car....wonderful to be able to walk to things easily

Ideal place to stay

We were so pleased with our stay. We stayed for 10 days. Parking downtown can be difficult - the location of the house made it really easy to walk to downtown St Johns, all the restaurants, George Street, and the harbour. St John's is known for the vibrant coloured houses and this house is one of them - which made our stay even more quaint. Carol is lovely, answers all her emails and phone calls. There is a property manager who is able to help with any extra incidentals or questions you may have. The house is clean , with many modern features, great wifi and TV's. It was highlight of our trip to stay in a historic home - definitely added to our St.Johns experience.
