This guest was told the security deposit would be held until we could determine the cost of restoring the house to its original condition after their week at the property. Neighbors called the police twice, the new sod lawn was ruined by what appeared to be a worn rectangular area from a possible beer pong tournament in the backyard, after they may have played wine pong in the dining room where we found wine splatters on the walls. It took a half day at the laundromat to wash all the sheets and towels left undone. Two screen doors needed repairing, also re-attaching living room curtain rod, wash and put away all the dirty dishes, not to mention all the carpet stains they claim were there when they arrived. The cleaning service charged for almost 6 hours of cleaning and the next guests to arrive cleaned for additional 3 hours before they felt comfortable enough to move in. I get that millennials just want to have fun, but the lack of respect for another's property, and claim it was left in great shape is mind boggling.
