Good size house with plenty of room. Well equipped kitchen, though dated and the door to the pool area dragged along the floor making it difficult to close/open. Quiet area with a short walk to the beach. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Great second visit.

Glad to have returned to stay at this lovely villa. Enjoyed our time there, it’s lovely and spacious and the air con was much welcomed in the blazing heat. So many nice places to eat and drink and although it’s quite a walk to town it’s a nice one through the wooded area which provides a nice bit of shade.

Lovely stay

We enjoyed our time at Villa Eloise very much and a villa lift up to all our expectations. Lots of space for 12 adults and around the swimming pool and we made use of all the dining areas throughout the week. The villa is a five minute walk to a lovely beach and lots of restaurants locally and we were there to play paddle and that is readily available in Vila Real at the sports club

Amazing!!

Amazing property!! Everything is perfect. The location close to the beach. Clean and with everything you need for a perfect vacation. The pool is a plus when it is hot outside. I recommend this place to everyone.

Lovely family trip

The house is great, well equipped for big groups and cooking for a crowd. It's also a very easy walk to a beautiful beach and a few bars, but a car is useful to travelling around. We really enjoyed the pool area and the excellent BBQ too. Some noisy neighbours a few nights but overall a fantastic trip. The owners were really responsive too.

Great location, great amenities, wonderful vacation!

We had the luxury of staying in Monte Gordo in the summer with minimal other tourists due to the pandemic. Andrew was very helpful and flexible in managing our visit, which was delayed a year due to COVID. The pool was immaculate, the kitchen well equipped, and the sleeping arrangements for our 3 families were great (7 kids, 6 adults). Thank you!

Fantastic family get-away

Lovely house in a quite neighborhood with enough space to accommodate 12 adults. A few minutes walk to the sandy beach. Monte Gordo was close enough to walk or cycled to with a good variety of shops and restaurants. The little shop about 200m up the road is a must visit. All necessities can be bought here. Their bakery needs special mentioning! Our family had a fantastic time.

Fantastic week at Casa Elouise

We have just returned from our holiday at Casa Elouise and it was pretty much perfect. Our family of 8 adults and 4 children found the property had everything we needed and particulary enjoyed the pool. We had it heated which meant the children could spend hours splashing around. The very near beach was gorgeous. We walked to Monte Gordo a few times where there were restaurants and shops. Especially enjoyed the ice creams there. We even spotted a chameleon on the way to the beach one day!

We were very pleased with our stay overall. The house is spacious, the pool is excellent and larger than expected, and the location is a major strength. It is in a quiet area, a short walk from a lovely beach. Monte Gordo is also walkable or around 6 by taxi; we recommend visiting in the evening when it is much livelier. The local supermarket and bakery were excellent, with larger supermarkets a short taxi ride away.The kitchen was well equipped, although dated, and the beds were adequate rather than particularly comfortable. Mosquitoes were noticeable, so come prepared with repellent and plug-in deterrents.The room layout is not clear in the listing. The first floor has three en-suite rooms: a twin with its own terrace and two doubles sharing a sunny terrace. The ground floor has a twin without an en-suite but with a nearby bathroom. Downstairs are two doubles: one en-suite with a courtyard, while the other has no en-suite or air conditioning.The games room has a pull-out bed, but we would not use it as a bedroom as it also lacks air conditioning. It is dated, the air hockey barely worked and you need to bring darts, although the table football was good.We watched the solar eclipse from the roof terrace, which was memorable, but it has no furniture and is not set up for regular use. We also would not recommend the nearby beach venue, as we were not allowed to have drinks without ordering food.Overall, a great property with a fantastic pool and location

Wonderful stay in the Algarve and at the Casa Eloise

We had a very wonderful holiday in the Algarve region and our stay at the Casa Eloise was excellent. The property has everything we were looking for. Lots of room, indoor and outdoor entertaining and dining. A great pool and patio. Great location located near beaches, restaurants and beach villages and towns such as Monte Gordo. Andrew and Else were great hosts and Gardenia took care of our needs at the Casa. We also contracted Edite to provide tours and transportation and she was wonderful in our several adventures. Retur, family holiday 25 April - 3 May 2024

We had a family vacation with 6 adults and 4 children (age 9 to 13 years). Arriving at the villa we found that it was fully in line with the description. Spacious rooms and bathrooms, a nice playroom which the children loved. We requested the pool to be heated and this added extra to the fun. The kitchen had lots of equipment. There was a nearby shop shop/bakery and the beach was indeed some 300 meters. Contacts with the owner were easy and requests were replied quickly. We enjoyed our stay and regretted we had to leave. This villa is certainly worth a visit for a vacation.

Good accommodation for our 3 generation family group.Less than one hour travelling from Faro airport, with easy directions given by Andrew.The property was ideally located with a 5 minute walk to the beach and a 20 minute walk to Monte Gordo and all the shops and restaurants.The pool was an ideal size which we had heated because of the two babies and young children, which stayed warm at night with a practical cover.Andrew kindly provided an extra high chair and cot.There was a local pasteleria 3 minutes away, with fresh bread and pastries every day.A slight negative was that the house was a little tired in some area, but this was probably reflected in the price and that the property is up for sale.This did not detract from our enjoyment of the house in anyway, and we had a great holiday.

Fantastic Holiday

The property was excellent for what we required. We were a group of 13 and there was plenty of room for us all in what is a very large villa. There were plenty of glasses/plates/cutlery/chairs and everything worked and was in good order. The pool area and sun beds is a little small for 13 people but it was not difficult to work around this. And huge thanks and credit to Andrew for being the perfect host. I had several queries and conversations with him prior to the holiday and he was incredibly helpful and informative. For all 13 of us it was a perfect holiday.

We had a lovely stay for 2 weeks in August 2024. The villa was perfect for 2 families, plenty of space for everyone individually but also to all be together. The pool was a good size for the group (5 adults and 5 kids) and all the things we needed, plus extras, were there for us to use. Location was great, 5 mins to lovely beach and a few beach bars, 5 mins the other way a shop and cafe with all essentials but also lovely food and fresh pastries at a great price! Men enjoyed local golf and we visited Monte Gordo frequently in evenings, Ubers are easy and cheap. We also visited Tavira a couple of times which was a bit further but a beautiful town. All comms with Andrew were quick and efficient and we used his recommendation of Edite for airport and golf transfers who was also lovely and very helpful! All in all we had a fantastic holiday!

Great villa!

The house is lovely, the listing is spot on and the pool just gorgeous. The house was brilliant value for money in my opinion, the kitchen was very well equipped with everything we could need etc. The living room area had space for our whole group to socialise together which was awesome. The host communicated quickly and clearly any time we had questions (both during and before the visit) and was generally very helpful and accomodating. The only criticisms my group had was that there were no soaps in the bathroom on arrival, no bin bags and only one toilet roll per bathroom; there were a few creepy crawly friends around inside inc cockroaches in the downstairs bathroom; and a few things were showing wear and tear a little e.g. a slightly rattly air conditioning unit and the air hockey table didn't really have air. The area the house was in was perfect for our group, we could walk to the beach in ~10 minutes, we could walk to the closest town in ~30 and then hired bikes which then took us further when wanted. Overall one of the best holidays I've been on and absolutely a villa I would go back to if the opportunity arises!

Overall enjoyed

This property is a very good size and big enough for our party of 12. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery and glasses. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and tables. As per the description the beautiful beach is less than a 10 minute walk. Nice beach bar and a great fish restaurant on the beach. There is also a lovely woodland walk running parallel with the beach that takes you to Monte Gordo in approximately 30 minutes. We walked easily with a pram.There is an Aldi nearby by taxi which cost less than 4 each way.There is a great outside BBQ area however the property next door is derelict and windows boarded up. The pool next door is full of stagnant green water that caused us problems with insects.One of the bathrooms had black mould on the ceiling. Also 2 of the bedrooms had quilts with no covers that were badly stained. This was quickly rectified after we reported it.The equipment in the games room has seen better days.Communication was quick with the property reps.

Outstanding family holiday

We had a wonderful stay! The house was perfect for 4 families (8 adults, 3 children, 3,6,6 years old). We had plenty of space and we each had a lovely bedroom and bathroom. The grill area was great and it was well worth the extra cost to heat the pool. We swam every day during our stay in April. We did need to keep a very careful eye on the children as the pool is deep at one end and easily accessed by speedy children. The gorgeous sandy beach is an easy 5 minute walk away, as is a local shop. We rented one small car between us all, and contacted Edite from greenrounds for help with minibus transfer from Faro. Edite also organized a wonderful day trip for us all taking in wine tasting, a beach visit and a bit of history - i can’t recommend her highly enough! We were very happy that the host was always very quick and helpful with replies. We were particularly impressed that on one day (Easter Monday evening) we had to call because the gas ran out……. We received a visit within 5 minutes and the gas was refilled almost immediately. Outstanding! Thanks a lot.

Las instrucciones para la entrada en la casa eran claras y sencillas.La ubicación es estupenda, muy cerca de la playa, y con varios supermercados a poca distancia en coche.En la misma urbanización hay un restaurante/panadería/pastelería que tiene un pequeño supermercado.La casa tiene todas las comodidades necesarias, y en caso de alguna duda la respuesta de la persona encargada es rápida.

A casa é bastante confortável, muito bem equipada e tem todos os ingredientes para uma estadia em família. Os quartos são bastantes espaçosos e com muita arrumação, as casas de banho funcionais e o fluxo da casa é bastante eficiente, com boa ligação entre os espaços interiores e exteriores.

Netjes en schoon huis, de eigenaar was erg vriendelijk en reageerde snel. Er zit een heerlijk zwembad bij en de ligging van het huis is goed. Mijn enige minpunt was dat ik het huis eigenlijk meer voor 12 personen bestemd vond. Er was voor 12 personen plek in bedden en dan nog matrassen. Daarnaast vonden we dat er in de keuken wat weinig spullen aanwezig waren om te koken voor 14 personen. Verder top service, erg bedankt!

Das Haus insgesamt ist für einen Urlaub sehr geeignet. Die Lage ist für Urlaub an der sandalgarve einfach top. Strände und gute Restaurants sind einfach zu erreichen, einen Leihwagen sollte man schon dabei haben. Es gibt aber auch Kleinigkeiten, die verbesserungswürdig wären. Die Silikonabdichtungen an den Duschen müssten erneuert werden. Das Spielzimmer hat kaputte Geräte und auch die Elektroinstallationen(Steckdosen) sind teilweise nicht mehr gut in der Wand befestigt und müssten erneuert werden. Die Küchenausstattung ist bis auf die Pfannen gut, es fehlen allerdings in der Grundausstattung fast alle Gewürze. Und auch der Grill auf der Terrasse hat seine besten Tage hinter sich. Wenn man mit diesen Gegebenheiten zurechtkommt, dann hat man einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt an der Algarve.

Verzorgde villa. Auto huren is aanbevolen om boodschappen te doen. 100 m van het huis een lekkere bakker. 2 stranden, met paviljoen. Prijzen voor het eten zijn fors gestegen. Naar dorp ongeveer 15 min wandelen.

Praia do Cabeço

A estadia na casa foi muito agradável, com espaço para toda a família. Somos um grupo grande de 4 casais (9 adultos) e todos tinham o seu espaço com banho privativo. As áreas comuns também são grandes e os espaços exteriores muito agradáveis. O tempo não esteve sempre bom para a praia, mas a piscina aquecida e os puzzles compensaram.
