Retreats. Reunions.office Gatherings.Book Clubs . We are calling all retreats and more to try Cozy Bear Lodge for perfect work and gathering Rooms . We are located off the Logan Highway entrance to Garden City near Logan Canyon. Lodge has three kitchens, three living areas, total of 8 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms. If need more than 8 bedrooms let us know.
8 bedrooms 6 baths. Outside area to play, four decks, fire pit, play house, large parking area and sports court. Access to snowmobiling or four wheeling from property. Close to shopping, restaurants, and public beaches . Enjoy boating, swimming, biking, four wheeling, snowmobiling, hiking, and the Pickleville Playhouse. We have plenty of room to get away for private moment and many great gathering rooms too. This is the year to hold that retreat you’ve dreamed of hosting. Watch the sun come up over the tropical blue Bear Lake . Make many Memories. This is the Time to go. Check our calendar and find a date that works for you. Carol

We were a group of 30 family members, celebrating my and my wife's golden anniversary. There was plenty of room for everyone, and good gathering spaces. It is close to 'downtown' Garden City. We weren't sure it would have adequate WIFI and air conditioning, but both were great.

Wonderful location for our family Christmas reunion

It’s not easy to find a home that can accommodate our large 35+ family, but this place was perfect. There was space for everyone to be comfortable and plenty of room in the main living:dining area for us all to gather. The home was clean and cozy. We had a blast playing in the snow on the property and spent a day sledding and snowmobiling at the nearby “Sinks” area. It was unanimously declared “the best Christmas ever!”

clean property, tons of space

What an amazing rental! It was very clean, has tons of space, multiple kitchens with tons of kitchen supplies, large gathering area, awesome back deck, etc. There is a beautiful master bedroom, but it may be important to know that it is also a thoroughfare to get from one side of the house to the other. It is possible to simply go outside and around, which we did. The sunroom/front porch is super cool too. Gorgeous view of Bear Lake. We LOVED our stay here.

An A-MAZING PROPERTY

We rented Cozy Bear Lodge for our large Family Reunion. It was absolutely the BEST! There were ROOMS EVERYWHERE and so many things we LOVED about it. Here are some :It has 4 kitchens Very functionable kitchens - had all the bowls, crockpots pots, etc. we needed to cook for 50. Ice machines - a big There were 4 nice clean side-by-side refrigerators that all worked well.So nice to have all the bathrooms. Kids loved the pool table and Sports Court.. AC kept up well. Shower heads had good water pressure. Comfy beds. The deck was awesome, just off the main kitchen. It was a little warm as the sun was going down, but accommodated A LOT of people. They provided all the towels and linens we needed—even Beach Towels! Our only negative, for us, was the distance back to North Beach where we went for our “Lake Day”—but other than that we had a fabulous time and loved how easy the Hosts were to reply to our concerns. Highly Recommend this place for your next Family Gathering!!

Thank you for letting us stay at your property. We were able to have all of our family together at the same time. The space was great. The kitchen facilities were clean and well stocked. There were plenty of bathrooms. That was a big bonus. It took awhile to find the sport court. We were disappointed that we couldn't use the ping pong table, but the basketball court was fun. We had a great time together. We needed to drive to the lake, but it was close and easy to access as well as the fun shops in Garden City.

Perfect for Large Family Reunion

This lodge was perfect for our family reunion of 30 people and 8 different families. The lodge was clean and you can tell it has been thoughtfully designed for large gatherings. We had the full lodge, so there were 3 floors to the lodge, and each floor has its own kitchen and living area in addition to bedrooms. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, as were the bathrooms, laundry areas, and more.Beds were comfortable and the lodge is well-built--we appreciated that some bedrooms are tucked away so that we could have little ones sleeping while the rest of us played! We all slept well, the temperature controls worked great during the alternately hot and cold week we were there. There is an amazing view of the lake from the front porch and the balcony. Location is great, just 1-2 minute drive to downtown Garden City and beaches.Kids loved the pool table, sport court with indoor basketball, ping pong, and just balls to throw around, as well as the play house! We had a cookout using the grill on the back patio while kids ran around the backyard.Didn't have any need to contact hosts while there, but asked them a few questions before the stay and they always responded within the hour! They were very helpful.Overall, we had an amazing time and would definitely stay here again!

Unhappy Stay

We were disappointed that the advertised spaces were not available. We like the Cozy Bear Lodge because it has four units to accommodate our large family. However, when we arrived, we found that one of the units was not available, causing a very uncomfortable situation. The owners tried to compensate us but it didn't make up for the inconvenience.

The faculties were just great. They meet our needs for our family reunion. We loved the backyard and the deck. We had a campfire in the pit. Loved it!

The Allen family

Every other year my 10 children and their spouses gather together to enjoy being together for a few days. This place was perfect!! It was beautiful, plenty of room, perfect location, clean and well maintained. It has several gathering places, 3 kitchens, a sports court and a beautiful view of the lake. The owners were quick to respond to my questions. I highly recommend staying at this place.

Family Stay at Cozy Bear Lodge

We have stayed with our family at the Cozy Bear Lodge two years in a row. We love the big deck outside, the ample parking, the many bedrooms and bathrooms. Our teens spent hours playing in the sports court. Our family loved playing lawn games out back last year, but unfortunately the grass this year was too coarse and dry to do so. Otherwise, our stay was wonderful.

Family reunion

We had a great time at the Cozy Bear Cottage and lots of memories were made. It was a large family reunion with 42 of us, but the house had plenty of room for everyone. Although the main master bedroom is right off the main living room and kitchen and is a through way to the other side of the house. You could easily just close the doors and go around from the outside. We didn't end up using much of that side other than a couple bedrooms so it wasn't a big deal. The kids especially enjoyed the sports court and running around the backyard. There was a little playhouse as well. The back deck was very enjoyable to relax and eat and socialize on. The older teens enjoyed the pool table and the upstairs balcony deck. Carol was prompt at responding to any of our questions. I would highly recommend the Cozy Bear Cottage to anyone especially if you wanted to host a large family reunion.

Family Reunion at Bear Lake

We were able to accomplish all of our goals at Bear Lake The facilities were as described. The home was spacious and allow the six families visiting to have some private space while have the large from for group activities.

Week Together as a Family

We were all very pleased with the accommodations, generally speaking. The kitchens were very well stocked, and the facilities were clean and inviting. There were just a couple of minor issues--that management can easily correct: 1) the wifi connection was poor, often some of us couldn't connect; 2) a couple of the bedrooms had blinds that were broken and couldn't be raised; 3) the "master" bedroom did not have access to the closet because it was being used as a storage area for linens, etc. Very inconvenient. 4) the door to one of the bedrooms needs work; it opens VERY noisily. All in all, however, we very much enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Bear Lodge. The deck in the back was particularly enjoyable, as was the Sports Court for our teenagers. Thank you for the providing such a great venue!

22 kids all had fun

We had a great time at the lake swimming, paddle boarding, and kayaking! At Cozy Bear Lodge we enjoyed preparing meals for all 42 of us and eating together indoors in the main dining space and outdoors in the spacious back yard using tables and chairs provided. Kids and teens loved the sports court. This place is fun and a little quirky. It is four rental spaces that combined for our large group. The owners are great! They respond quickly to texts and find solutions if there are problems. One of the most quirky things about the layout of this place is that the master bedroom becomes a walk through to the north part of the house when all the parts are used together. We stayed with family, so we did not mind having family members walk through, even if we were sleeping. If we stayed here again, which we definitely would, I would bring more bedding for the kids to use with the air mattresses and pull out couches, more laundry detergent for washing towels, and my own kitchen towels and dish cloths as we ran out in a couple of the kitchens. We definitely had fun sharing this cozy lodge!

Great family reunion rebtal

We really enjoyed our stay. The property had ample space for family of 38. We loved the extra kitchen and living space. The large back deck was also great for gathering. We also enjoyed the sports court. The location was great too. It was so close to trails and public beaches. The manager was quick to respond to any questions and need We had. We really enjoyed our stay and would definatley stay again.

family reunion

Plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen was well stocked, but we did not have enough trash bags. Parking was easy and plenty of room for all our cars. Excellent place for a large group. Enjoyed the sport court and the availability of the equipment. Sprinklers came on every day and made the lawn wet and slippery. There was no internet connection and several children had to finish homework. We had a big leak in the downstairs bedroom and the carpet got very wet. We did not find any sheets for the couch beds. The master bedroom is a walk through to another part of the house.

Family Reunion

We enjoyed this property very much, especially the multiple refrigerators. The teenagers enjoyed the sport court. Rooms were separated so little ones could take naps. Loved the large general kitchen and dining area. The managers were very helpful in booking the property and answering questions. It was a great place to stay.

It is exactly as it is described. Lots of space and rooms, multiple kitchens. Perfect for a large family gathering. It is close to the beach and Garden City is a great place to visit. Owner is very responsive and answers quickly.

Family Reunion at Bear Lake

34 of us converged on the Cozy Bear Lodge at Bear Lake. The house was amazing, easily fitting our diverse bunch. We especially liked that all the couple could have their own space (room) and that there was plenty of room for everyone to gather and hang out. The Play House and the garage with basketball and 4 square were big hits with the kids. The four kitchens and refrigerators allowed us to easily store and prepare the food for the four full days and nights we were there. The property is not easy to find. I drove past it three times before realizing that was our place because there are no street signs at the turn off from Logan Rd., nor is Sherry Lane designated. But once we found it, it was great!

The best comfortable cozy VRBO anyone could ask for.

If you are looking for a fantastic place to stay with your large family this would be the place. It is very close to epic rentals and the water. There was plenty of things to do at the house for any age young or old. They supplied towelsCall my kitchen supplies, games, theater atmosphere TVs. If you even have time to watch TV there is plenty of TVs to watch. We just can’t say enough about how it lives up to its name cozy bear cottage. We will go back to it again.
