Beautiful place in the country set amongst the Otway Mountains and overlooking the sea. Right on the Great Ocean Road about halfway between Apollo Bay and the 12 Apostles. Very comfortable.

We had a fantastic stay. The area is beautiful and the house was lovely.

The house was lovely very clean and had everything you could possibly need. The communication from the owners was fantastic. Looking forward to visiting again.

Great getaway

Enjoyed the property and all the small details that made the stay feel like home away from home. Excellent supplies in the kitchen. Enjoyed the dog run and appreciated the mowed grass to make it usable. Wish we had a longer stay!

Sanctuary with a view

We loved our stay and hope to return. The house is fantastic, the views amazing and the local kangaroos friendly. A great base to explore from; don't miss the Melba Gully glow worms!

Very peaceful

Perfect location to get away and just relax, the wildlife is amazing, plenty of blackberries for the picking, take enough food to last your stay, the kitchen is amazing

Scenic and Wonderful

A clean and very comfortable home with excellent facilities. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with an excellent coffee machine which was a welcomed bonus. The fireplace was beautiful and worked well with plenty of firewoodThe outlook had wonderful views of green paddocks and the ocean. We would stay again.

Lovely Lavers Hill getaway

Just perfect! We’ll appointed and very comfortable house with a beautiful view! This house was perfect for us and a lovely place to take our friend from England to enjoy some of the local natural attractions. We really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return!

A beautiful property. The fireplace and views were stunning. Great outdoor area for our pup . House has everything you need and heaters in every room which was great as we stayed in winter A perfect getaway!! Margaret is a wonderful host

Beautiful vista of nature and wildlife

We loved the central location to explore the Great Ocean Road. Being in the hills was nice. Please note that the closest town is small with one general store with coffee shop and one nice restaurant. So planning most meals while driving is best for this location. House was roomy.

Family holiday

We loved the property. The views were amazing. It is a bit of a distance for groceries and premium unleaded petrol so good to come prepared. Lots if things to do in the area. Overall loved it.

Hello Wendy! Yes we are remote. Petrol is available in Yatzies from 8am-4pm - 7 days a week (7 minutes away from house). But Apollo Bay is just 35-40 minutes drive for all supplies if staying longer. Colac about 50 minutes - all shops including Aldi, Bunnings etc. I hope You enjoyed our house. Thank You for leaving it spotless!!!! I hope to see you again! Margaret

Magnificent views

We loved staying at Gone Surfin' - the views are amazing, the decks lovely places to relax & unwind in nature/soak up some sun and lots of space for the dog to explore and sniff. Also lots of things to do nearby which helps with teens. We will come back. 😊
