Traveled with a few families with kids under 3 and it was perfect! I would make note that the two bunk beds are not a bedroom. They are located on the first floor where you enter the property in a big open room next to the stairs. We were able to make it work, so it wasn’t a big deal for us. Great location between inlet and old forge. Easy to get to both towns. Plenty of room for cars to park as well. Would stay again!

check your advertised picture on this e-mail very deceiving the picture is taken from an elevated position showing property at a somewhat level position in reality there is a tremendous grade to the property making it difficult for our party with ages all exceeding 70 years old. No mention of grade of land in original pictures posted on vrbo as well shame on you in fact you make a point to not show elevation grade.

Our family really enjoyed the house, its seclusion yet close to Old Forge was perfect. Plenty of room and well equipped kitchen. We all like to cook!

Labor Day Weekend Getaway

The cabin was the perfect weekend getaway with our friends and our kids. Close to everything we wanted to do but secluded enough to enjoy quiet at the cabin.

Beautiful and spacious cabin

This listing was exactly as advertised! It was perfect for my group's weekend in the Adirondacks and property management was easy to contact. I would definitely stay here again if I had the opportunity.

Perfect size

Sorella Lodge was a perfect accommodation for 3 families staying for a ski race weekend at McCauley. The house was exactly as described on the website. We would stay here again any season!

Lovely Lodge

The lodge was lovely! Loved the view, the very tame bucks and the ability to either be close together or spread out/alone. Thankful it didn't snow, wish the rain had stayed away. We had a great time despite the weather.

cozy cabin weekend

Stayed here with a group of friends (12 people) for a long weekend. It was a great time. The cabin was very close to town where we did some shopping. The dining room was big enough for family dinner, and there was plenty of places within the cabin where we could spread out during the day. The kitchen was well equipped with enough pots, pans, utensils, plates, etc, for everyone. Would stay here again.

The property was as beautiful as the weather. We lucked out in that regard. We also enjoyed a local visitor who really likes apples. A 10 pointer i believe.

Family reunion

Nice property with good space for a group of 9 with children. The only problem was the lowest floor was musty. We recommend a dehumidifier.

The house is in a great location. Large house, lots of room for everyone to spread out. Be prepared for lots of stairs (especially if you have little ones.) There is one gate on one set of stairs.Unfortunately, the refrigerator broke down and we lost a lot of food. We had to order food as all our food was ruined. What we did replace we had to put in a cooler. When we told the manager, they said they would bring ice as soon possible. As they didn’t show we had to run out and get ice. They did bring it the next morning after we called again.It was inconvenient to live out of a cooler after having paid for the convenience of the house accommodations. We were reimbursed for the food we lost but it would have been nice to have some reimbursement for the inconvenience we experienced as well. All in all if appliances were updated and a deep clean done it is a nice place. Owner and managers were easy to deal with overall. Communication and pay were confusing going between VRBO and then the owners business. It was not the cleanest place as we found things from former renters that should have been cleaned if the cleaners were thorough. (A prescription eye drops under a bed, an arm brace in edge of bed, and the carpet could be cleaned.)
