Great location

Enjoyed our stay, property was well located for what we were doing whilst there. It was clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Would highly recommend.

Perfect home for a holiday

Had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. Has all the amenities you need. Close to restaurants, shops and and pubs. Perfect!

Very comfortable and cosy!

Our group of friends enjoyed a couple of nights catching up in this lovely house. We felt very comfortable there. I chose this place as it was pet friendly - my greyhound loved zooming round the yard and I felt very reassured by secure fences! Only a couple of minor issues: flies inside the dining area (thankfully fly spray was provided); and some of the cutting knives were quite blunt. Otherwise, all good, thanks for having us!

Convenient location

Close to everything some parts of the home a little tired need some freshening up especially the kitchen. One of the bathroom basins was leaking. The entrance really should be up the ramp on the verandah as the step up from the side was impossible for me but fortunately the key worked on the other door but we did enjoy our stay

Lovely, would stay again

Beautiful old house, done up really lovely though some repairs needed in the bathroom ceiling. Importantly, the beds were super comfy, great shower and nice big bath tub. We put the older child in the room near the dining room, like a retreat for her, and the 5yo in the room next to us. We always bring our own night lights along for the kids room to light up the path to the bathroom for the little ones so all good there otherwise it could get tricky. Great selection of wine glasses to choose from and decanter!

A comfortable house with a pleasant dining/sun room. Easy walk to everything. Could do with a few more plates in the kitchen, plenty of games and books.

Nice property for Summer use for a family with older children.

Overall a good place to stay but we were a little disappointed. We could not use the sunroom where the table was for dining in the evenings at all as insufficient lighting. The 3rd bedroom was not suitable for a toddler as too far away from the rest of the bedrooms. Only having electric radiators/fires in the bedrooms wasn't good with young children from a safety perspective and they didn't heat the rooms much. The seating arrangement in the lounge was odd and we had to move a chair around each time we all wanted to watch television. The bathroom was cold and the pealing tiles on the wall and ceiling detracted from the great shower and level of renovation work that had been done.

Charming cottage close to town

Gorgeous cottage close to town but it was the little extras that made our stay so special. Organic toiletries, plenty of firewood and cosy decor, lovely 😊🍷
