We have enjoyed many weekend stays in Clare Valley and Benny’s Retreat was a wonderful place to stayWe love the combustion heater - perfect to come home to at nightsWhilst we don’t spend much time watching TV, it would be a plus to to take in a footy match after a day outInternet gives options and was a good substitute Thanks for a lovely stay from all of usRegardsJoe

We enjoyed our stay and were most impressed with the breakfast provisions. Accommodation was clean comfortable with underfloor heating in bathroom. No TV provided which encouraged games and conversation! A short drive to Clare and wineries.

Fabulous, modern, peaceful retreat

Spacious & extremely well appointed modern 3 bedroom house in a quiet bushland setting. Spotlessly clean with a fully equipped kitchen & laundry. Living spaces were very comfortable with beautiful views & sunsets. Resident kangaroos also put in an appearance.

Breakfast provisions are just for the first day, this should have been mentioned by VRBO. Lovely quiet location, to get more comfort I would suggest a pillow topp mattress of (memory) foam and to get some more comfy outdoor furniture, the location is so nice with all the birdlive that it deserves nice quality outdoor furniture. Outdoor diningtable lacks maintenance. Will come back with these improvements!

Spent a wonderful 5 days at Benny’s Retreat. What a perfect location, just a few kms out of Clare in a bush land setting. Nice spacious venue, perfect for a few couples or larger family. Beautiful bathrooms and a kitchen that has every thing you need. The host left breakfast provisions for our first morning which was appreciated. We had lovely clean, comfortable beds and bedrooms. The venue has excellent heating considering it is in Clare. There is no TV but it is called Benny’s Retreat. Highly recommend.

Luved Benny's

A fabulous location, quiet bushland, no barking dogs, no passing traffic just serenity. How was great, all mod cons and well provisioned for our three night stay. Sue was always contactable and we much appreciated her attention to her guests need in a friendly and amicable manner. We could not fault Benny's Retreat and will stay again. Also the Watervale Hotel is a great spot for a long lunch.

Beautiful house with gorgeous comfy bedding

We had a lovely stay, a beautiful house with lovely bedding. We misread that the property had no TV but we kept busy and a small microwave would be handy because we like to cook and stayed in most nights. The breakfast supplied was fantastic and most appriciated. Thank you Sue
