We had a wonderful time at this beautiful cottage. Lots of games and activities for kids to do. This is our second time staying here and we love it. Camp fires at night with tons of wood provided. Wonderful place to stay if you have a large family or just friends. Comfortable beds, games room, laundry room, and a short walk to beach or into town. Thank you, Freddy!

We have been renting in this area for years, while they have all been lovely we all said hands down this was a favourite. Fredy is the best host of all the places I have rented, being a landlord myself I really appreciated it. Fredy had excellent communication, easy to get a hold of and the process of renting was easy. The house is beautifully designed and had everything that was needed. All the kitchen accessories, from plates to placemats everything was provided in the kitchen. I really appreciated having everything included, sheets, extra bedding, extra pillows, towels, luggage racks, laundry supplies, firewood. Everything was well thought out and made our stay seemless and so enjoyable. I really appreciate a great host and Fredy I would say is a super host, he thought of everything a renter would need to enjoy their stay and provided it. The backyard and outdoor patio was beautiful and it was so handy having a bbq as we used it as an oven for our turkey dinner. We made amazing Thanksgiving family memories in "the little Bayfield mansion." 10 out 10.

Little Mansion Bayfield - Pleasant stay

We were very happy with the accommodation. Location was excellent. Property was very well maintained, and equipped with BBQ, fire pit, lovely rear yard and patio, games room etc. Interaction with the owner was pleasant and professional. We recommend it.

Summer 2024

The Little Mansion was great for my family and I. Backyard play gym and covered patio made the weekend great in any weather. Freddy was a great host, would rent again.

I rented this house with a group of friends to celebrate our 40th birthdays. Overall, it was a fantastic property. We loved spending time during the day in the outdoor covered patio and playing bocce & croquet in the backyard. It took us a few minutes to check in so I’d recommend connecting with the host to work out the details if you have a firm timeline. However the host was responsive and sent lots of info ahead of time. This location was close enough that we could walk to shops, restaurants and the beach. It is nicely treed and felt quiet and private.

House has potential but needs work , location is good.

The house is a good size and a decent location, but the property needs maintenance and a good cleaning. There was a cracked window, missing flooring trim, water damage in the bathrooms and kitchen, a very musty smell in the garage, and loads of spider webs throughout the house, as well as some areas (like the kitchen) that need a more thorough cleaning. The location made it easy to get to the lakes in both Bayfield and Grand Bend, plus some decent shopping and the grocery store. The house has tons of potential.
