We loved our stay! Newly renovated property with a heated pool. We loved the location and the full kitchen. Spacious with spectacular views of the ocean.

The unit is perfect. We loved the views and coffee on the lanai. It has all the basics you need and there is a market in lobby and abc across street if you need it. We would love to stay here again. Oh and elevators super fast. Room had upgraded furniture.

Easy instructions to use and gain access to unit, exactly what is advertised. Unit has gorgeous morning view of ocean, and evening sunset!

View from the room.

We enjoyed beautiful view of the sunset, beaches, port and near park every single day. If price stay reasonable coming back next year.

It was a great experience staying in this condo. Stunning view from the balcony, great location, all the necessary amenities. Always worth coming back!

Beautiful sunsets

I always book through VRBO,it is so easy.When we go to Hawaii we usually stay at the Ilikai,it’s beautiful there.We have also stayed at the Waikiki Banyan.We like to stay in a Condo,so we have the choice of eating in or out.Love VRBO

The room for sure had a great view of the marina. Easy access to locations. Check-in was easy enough. However, we got in late and checked in approximately 8 PM, half hour after checking into the room, we found three live cockroaches walking around on the table, and two on the dressers! It was disgusting ! There was also a wet carpet stain on the right side in front of the television we know because we stepped in it, and our feet was all wet!! contacted the host as well as the rental property via text and email heard back in the morning and their answer was that Hawaii has these natural nature “habitats” on island … I get the geckos, lizards mosquitoes…ok. But cockroaches??? Really!? That’s disgusting.!!! Oh… and found out the wet carpet was from the a/c dripping/leaking , so am going to assume will be mold under carpet .

Small but worked for us

We had an overall good experience. Being on the 20th floor you have a really nice view of the ocean and sail boat in the marina below. Upon arrival I some issues finding the WiFi password and wrote in asking for it but never got a response. Not a huge deal but was unexpected to not get a response being a VRBO host myself. I ended up finding it on the modem itself. The kitchen has all the necessities such as pots pans etc. However your basically going to need to wash everything before you use it. The dishes were not clean at all but we got them cleaned up. We overall enjoyed our stay and really liked being able to cook some of our meals in the unit. Thanks

Would not recommend

Location and view from the balcony were both great. However there was a ton of super pound construction going on in the uni above us. The project manager was apologetic and he made some calls to get it stopped but it was still a huge downer. Also the AC did not cool the unit below 75. If you need it cool to sleep like we do I would not recommend staying here. Also amenities were pretty bad. They gave us only one super small bottle of shampoo and conditioner. We ran out first day and had to buy our own. Also only gave us enough coffee for half our stay. We’ve stayed in Hawaii over 10 times in rentals and this was by far the worst :(

Valet parking was extremely convenient, but the cost is 45 a day, don't be surprised by that. There is a really great snorkel shop right downstairs, with reasonable prices and a really great guy! There were plenty of towels and bedding for three of us.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in dem Ilikai-Appartment sehr genossen und würden gerne wieder hier wohnen. Wir sind eine 5er-Familie, und dann war es schon etwas eng, vor allem ohne Esstisch, aber wir waren ja meistens draußen unterwegs. Das Haus ist gut erreichbar, weil es ganz am Anfang von Waikiki liegt, und man ist zu Fuß schnell an einem schönen Strand.

Amazing views

It was my family’s first huge trip to the island and we had the best time the view every morning was amazing the condo was just perfect for me and my 4 kids will definitely be book this same room again in the future.

Ilikai

When we arrived at our room it was night so we went to sleep but once we woke up in the morning we realized how filthy this place was. Clumps of dust everywhere, a pill that my 1 year old son had found, shower was gross, dishes had an awful musty smell to them and the “clean” dishes we pulled from the cupboard had old food on them, the dish wreak needed a serious clean. Views were nice but that was about the only plus. I would not stay in this room again!

Wonderful stay

Best stay so far in the Ilikai. The unit was fantastic. We really appreciated how everything was in good working order and the small things like enough coffee filters. Of course the ocean view priceless.

Wonderful Place to Stay

We really like the location of the condo. Lovely View being 20 floors up, very private, close to activities, and easy access to the laundry room! I enjoyed having the Valet for the car. The room was very comfortable. We did not cook so I can't say much about the kitchen but it seemed well stocked and nice to have a full size refrigerator for leftovers from the neighboring restaurants and fresh fruits to enjoy on the balcony with a gorgeous view of the sunset every night. The restaurant downstairs is a very good breakfast place and I liked having a convenience store in the building as well.
