We spent last week at this cottage. It was beautiful. Inside and outside. It was very well maintained and exceptionally clean! Location is great! Very peaceful. We brought our boat and having a boat launch so close by was a bonus. Beautiful waters for boating and fishing! Sitting under the gazebo on the dock in the evening was wonderful! We have already decided we want to return next summer! Thank you for a wonderful week!

-cottage was very clean when we checked in. -no curtains on the front windows which was odd in our opinion.-there is an ant problem, I believe they were coming out of the washroom area.-paddle boat was full of water which should have been emptied by owners we believe.-grounds are well maintained and clean.-wasp nest up near soffit/facia above the deck. Was stung on the forehead on the last day. -dock was in very good shape.-tower fan was on its last legs and made loud noises at times and buttons on it could be non-responsive. -I give the property a solid 3 out of 5.

Hi John, I am glad that you found our place to be clean and comfortable during your stay. I am sorry that you found some things that displeased you while you were here, we are disheartened that you didn’t address your concerns while you stayed with us. You seemed to be super content with your stay when we chatted with you while you were here and we were present at the accompanying house for the duration of your stay. We would have been more than happy to help you out with all of these concerns, we always want to make sure our guests have the best stay possible and can enjoy the amenities offered to the fullest. We do appreciate you bringing up these concerns, we have since addressed them. I would also like to comment that this is a bit of a harsh review from a renter who let their dog urinate all over the rental cabin and made no effort to clean it. In addition to taking all of the shampoo, conditioner and other bottles that we leave for our renters to use during the stay. Even after all of this we still would have accepted another rental request from you both as you seemed so kind while speaking with us. I just want to reiterate that I am sorry that you didn’t have the best stay and we wish you would have been more forthcoming during your time here as we would have loved to help you both have the best possible experience while you were here. We wish you both all the best.

Canada Day getaway

Our first time cottaging and had a blast. Fishing off the dock was great! Free use of the paddle boat was a great addition that our son loved. Very quiet area. Everyone in the area was super friendly. Super clean cottage that had everything you needed! Dog friendly too! Definitely will recommend to friends and family. Great place to relax and unwind from city life.

Lovely spot

We enjoyed our short stay at this lakeside cottage; cozy and well equipped with everything we needed. Patti and Denis were great hosts, responded quickly to any questions and provided information on the property and surrounding area. The only recommendation we would make would be to add some sort of cooling/air conditioning - weather was very hot during our stay. Unfortunately, we had to cut our trip short, but hope to visit again in the future when we can take more time to relax and enjoy the property and lake.

Lovely cottage getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage which was located right next to the lake. Beautifully decorated, very clean and well maintained. Came with kayaks, canoe and a paddle boat. Lake is very calm and good for swimming. It was so peaceful to hang out on the dock. Owners were very hospitable and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend for those looking for a nice, relaxing cottage vacation away from the city buzz.
