Quiet, peaceful residential area on the water.

Please note: HOUSE RULES:
Walking on the beach all around the bay is encouraged. However, going off the beach onto any other neighbors private property is strictly forbidden, including any of the neighboring floating docks., Our floating dock is the BLACK one. The neighbors is wood ---that one is off limits.
Digging on ANY beach besides that directly behind our home is strictly forbidden. Clams, & oyster digging only on our beach and only with a legal WA state fishing license. Harvesting anything from any neighboring beaches is strictly forbidden. If fishing and digging is allowed at Penrose State Park or any other public beach, with a valid fishing license, you may dig there.
If you dig on any neighboring beach, or dig anywhere without a valid license, you will be subject to the applicable state fines ($1000-$5000).

These 3 homes in tranquil Lakebay Washington offer relaxing accommodations with excellent water views and 200' of private beach. Come paddle around Von Geldern Cove our little piece of Puget Sound.

Please note we have all guests sign a separate rental agreement outside of AirBnB. Please ask for details prior to booking.

Large circular driveway for the main house and Cottage. Multiple parking spaces in front of and to the sides of the 2nd story apartment (over a storage garage). 50-60 min drive from Sea-Tac Airport.

There IS an additional $75 charge to use the spa. Please be sure this is selected when you make your reservation or we can add it after. If you do NOT want it, just let us know and we will have that locked off.
There is one additional note. We are adding this to the House Rules:
-no food, drink, shampoo or soap of any kind in the spa. If our staff determines that the spa is left in a dirty condition, and the water must be changed, we will be charging an additional $100 on top of the normal spa charge. By using the spa you ARE agreeing to follow this rule and to the additional charge if our staff deems it necessary.

Elegant expansive garden, nice clean property and houses, unique historic architecture, sufficiently furnished kitchens and rooms, walks on beach, one kayak and two paddleboards. It was a great place for a beachside stay.

Wedding weekend

This was the most perfect stay for our small wedding. The house was beautiful, and so picturesque! I highly recommend staying here! The whole experience was amazing! Thank you so much for a beautiful weekend!

Great for extended family outing. We slept 16 with room to spare. Waterfront was most interesting, as the tide was ever changing. Would go again.

Great place for families

Nice, property. Great access to beach, basketball, kayaks. First house has a attic, which was perfect for kids and accommodated 3 families. The other two were cozy houses and comfortable.

We had an absolutely perfect stay on the water at this beautiful home. The home was spotless and charming. You can feel the history of the area in the air. Our family all came together to celebrate some very special milestone, and I couldn't have asked for a more special place to gather. We will be back!!

Great weekend stay

Our group of friends and families had a wonderful stay for the weekend on the water. Nice big kitchen for cooking big meals. Fun and relaxing time around the fire pit and in the hot tub. The rain held off long enough to get in some pickleball, frisbee, and beach time. Overall, a great stay and we hope to be back!

Perfect Wedding Location

The estate had everything we could possibly want and more to host our intimate wedding!! Kitchen was more stocked than any kitchen I’ve ever used, grounds were gorgeous for our ceremony, and Katherine was a wonderful host who worked with me so well when we had a last minute change of plans. Highly highly recommend!!

Beautiful property

We had a group stay and we enjoyed the ability to spread out among the 3 homes. Still gathering in the main house for meals and games. The weather was beautifully Washington cold and rainy. Didn’t take advantage of the kayak or Spa, lovely stay none the less.

We could not have asked for a better stay at the Wisteria Estate, it was our wedding day and I am still in shock of how perfectly and how beautiful it turned out. I will recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

Waterfront WA home

What an amazing property! Having the huge lawn was so great, especially when it was cloudy. A store is nearby for ice/items. Be sure to use the floating deck on the left. So much wildlife with eagles, birds, seals, deer. Beautiful flowers. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Property on the Sound

The houses and ground are wonderful. The low bank waterfront made access to the water easy. Some of the kayaks are heavy so be sure you have two people to carry them especially at low tide. We had plenty of space for everyone, and it is nice to have the separate kitchens for our diverse family. The gas stove in the main house does have to be lit manually, so be sure that older children who want to cook have supervision. We all enjoyed the details of the main house. Be sure to close the lower windows in the kitchen at night, or the sprinklers will make the floor wet. The sport court converts easily from pickle ball to basketball and there was lots of room for games of catch with our softball player. We had a very low tide and really enjoyed the many, many shells and watching all the baby crabs fight. One negative for our stay, was that it was very hot for a couple of days. The portable AC units in the main house could not keep up at all and the compressor for the AC was not functioning. We opted to leave the last evening rather than stay another night in very hot rooms.

Ladies retreat

This property is stunning and well equipped. Everyone enjoyed the sports court and spa and of course time In nature. We saw crabs and seals and bald eagles and numerous birds. Rented this space for a ladies retreat and it was superb. Would love to rent this space again.

50th Anniversary Celebration

We had 4 families staying on the property. There was space for everyone to be together. There were activities for all to participate in, both outside and inside. Hearing all the laughter was delightful!

The most amazing stay!

We absolutely loved this property!!! It’s stunning. To wake up on the after and have so much space with the three houses made it that much more relaxing. We had the best time and the owner was so amazing to work with. We so so hope one day we will be back here. Thank you so much for sharing your space with others.

Wedding Weekend

Absolutely the best place for adventures, relaxing, gathering, and enjoying our friends and family with the best views, beauty, and comfort of the PNW. We loved the 3 homes and its property. I cannot say enough about the beauty of this home and its property. No one wanted to leave, we felt at home and very comfortable there.

We had a fantastic family reunion at this property. All three homes were fully stocked with all the essentials and more! The property itself is beautiful with a pickle ball court, a wonderful covered patio, and, of course, the beautiful beach. Thank you for providing us with a great place for all of our family. We have re-upped for next year!

Stay

I enjoyed our stay overall and they were quick to respond to needs. There were however rats in the cottage and the oven in the main kitchen was not working. It was a beautiful place but the rats definitely killed some of the quality for me. And the water in the main house and cottage was undeniable. It was bright yellow and had an awful smell.

Wisteria Hollow Bridal shower

It was a wonderful celebration at the estate. I appreciated the ability to come in advance to plan decorations that respected the beauty of the home. Entry directions were clear. It was clean and ready. The managing people we met were friendly and helpful. Thank you for working with us to get the timing right and thank you for helping us bless our daughter with a bridal celebration in a place that is special to her from childhood.

Gorgeous Property and Surrounding Area

I don't think you fully appreciate the beauty of this property until you are physically there. We rented all 3 of the properties for a small family gathering for my daughter's wedding; we had a total of 14 people including 2 small children. Everyone enjoyed the stay. The property provided a gorgeous backdrop for the wedding. While the Victorian house is the centerpiece and very beautiful, spacious and provides the best views, the cottage and apartment are nice as well. The owners and property managers are so responsive and really want to make sure you enjoy your stay. We also loved the kayaks, pickle ball courts, and the grounds in general.

The yellow kayaks were leaking and improperly repaired. We did carry them to the waterline carefully, but damaged already had been done and was pretty extensive. I think the bedroom that is open to the stairwell should be closed off. I was originally going to put our daughter and her husband and 1-yr old in there, but it was too dangerous for a child. Beautiful but dirty

This used to be a once beautiful estate. We recleaned when we arrived bathrooms and floors. Lights were out or non working in numerous rooms. The straw that broke us when 5 children broke out in rashes. After taking them to a Doctor we found out it was a fungus from the hot tub. Wish I could recommend but I can’t. No response from the owner!!! 😔😐

I apologize for your negative experience. I have since replaced my cleaning and yard staff. The home is being completely cleaned and repaired. My previous staff had not communicated any issues with the electrical, spa or of course, cleanliness state. I have found many issues since my return and I was out of the country during your stay. Again, I do apologize and we are restoring the home to its normal beauty.

Not to mention lack of privacy. I feel you could have a liability risk with the open stairwell. We had trouble with the hot tub getting cold, but Ron and Cindy were very responsive and got it repaired as well as repairing the washer. I appreciated their quick response!
