Amazing house walking distance to beach

We had a wonderful stay. The beach is beautiful and we saw a pod of dolphins just off the beach, truly magical

Anniversary Weekend

Ruby’s is a lovely little cottage. In a perfect spot. So close to the beach. So nice for a weekend stay.

Restful home

Comfortable and welcoming home. Our second stay at this property and will be back. Easy walk to beach, ocean pool, cafe and bowls club.

We loved our stay at Rubys place. Had a great deck to sit on after a day at the beach. Only a short walk to the bowlo, beach, SLSC and Main Street. Only thing I would suggest is packing an extra bath mat. We had four adults stay and it got quite wet after showers. Would definitely stay here again.

Quiet retreat (in winter)

The house was just what the 2 of us, & our greyhound, needed. Comfortable and convenient for the, dog-friendly, Hallidays Sports Club (aka The Bowlo.) Easy to walk to the beach, Waves or the Hallidays Point Shops too. May not be as quiet in summer, however.

Cute cottage at the beach

The house is close to the beaches and rainforest walks, and also not too far to walk to the shops. The house was well equipped with everything you could want. I would stay there again.

The fact that it's dog friendly with a very secure yard is a major plus for our family. Black Head is an absolute gem of a place. We've already booked to come back in June.

Perfect little location in Black Head

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 2nd time we have stayed and enjoy it each time. Especially like the morning sun (in Winter) on the rear deck looking out towards the beach - perfect place to chill.Only minor annoyance this time was the gas ran out on our first night and it was very cold! It was resolved the next day but did leave us pretty chilly overnight and in the morning. The gas heater (when working) actually warms the house up pretty quickly.

Nice Place, Friendly Town

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Glad we came here. Nice and quiet in May. Friendly small town feel, but with good amenities, and good sized FoodWorks supermarket with good variety of fresh food and groceries reasonably priced. Great community OpShop. Ruby’s place was comfortable and well equipped, and we enjoyed the balcony, morning sun and comfy chairs. It was larger than we needed. Would have preferred a smaller more affordable stay somewhere, but not much around for a couple. A weekly rate might be good in off season. Beaches, ocean pool and coastal walks ✅✅✅

It is a great location, easy walk to both beaches and the shops. We love sitting on the deck with glimpses of the beach listening to the birds and relaxing.
