Me and my partner really enjoyed our stay. The property was super cosy and had all we needed for our weekend stay. The property owners were lovely to talk to and we enjoyed the beautiful garden. Would definitely come back again.

Wonderful place

Such a lovely place to stay - the garden drew us to the place originally and it was such a peaceful oasis. The accommodation was great. Thanks Mary and Jim for sharing!

The Garden Cottage was a lovely retreat and perfect place to unwind for a few days. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and enjoyed the fire on a rainy night. There is plenty to do locally including a must visit to the Woodbury Store cafe, Geraldine and forest walks. Thank you to hosts Jim and Mary for making us feel very welcome.

Woodbury little gem.

We loved our stay on this peaceful accomodation and n a gorgeous garden setting just outside Geraldine. Easy to go into town for dinner or eat at home. Wonderful hosts who were so helpful and we would definitely return.

Couldn’t have asked for a more comfortable and pleasant stay. The cottage had all the amenities, we had the fire on both nights so it was really cosy. Jim and Mary were also very sweet, offering local insight. Definitely will be recommending to others!

A peaceful setting

Lovely 2 night stay in beautiful garden setting. Woodburner fire was a bonus in August when nights are still cold.

Simply Superb

Absolutely fantastic property with the most accomodating hosts. As a travel agent I deal with all accomodation styles and hosts right across the board and I simply cannot fault this booking at all. We will certainly be staying again

Outstanding

We loved our stay here, for lots of reasons- helpfulness of hosts, beautiful garden, very clean cottage, great location for bike rides, walks, proximity to Geraldine. Very very good indeed.

Very peaceful sitting in the garden and Geraldine just down the road. The accommodation was clean, tidy and welcoming.

Getting out of the rat race

Tidy and comfortable self contained accommodation with a beautiful garden with mature trees. Hosts lovely and friendly. Picturesque to close to Peel Forest.

Lovely cottage and garden

We thoroughly enjoyed our quiet stay with Jim & Mary who were particularly hospitable and helpful. The wood fire kept the cottage warm overnight despite the frost outside. And the garden is magnificent. We really recommend this stay if you want somehwere quiet and cosy.

Our stay

This was delightful to stay at. Hosts Jim & Mary could not be more helpful Lovely garden setting The cottage was very nice and the bonus was the wood burner which in the evening was needed. Would we stay again. Yes if we were passing thru that area.

Woodbury Cottage

The cottage was warm and cosy, and the hosts were very helpful. We arrived at dusk for our first night's stay and Jim had kindly lit the fire for. Lovely view of their backyard from the living area.

Lovely stay

Wonderful and well furnished cottage. Offers easy access to town while giving you the quietness of the countryside. The wooden fireplace really makes the cottage cozy, and a well appointed kitchen allows you to prepare meals. We had a restful stay there, the breakfast in the fridge was an appreciated extra touch. Thank you for hosting us!

Amazing facilities, hosts and breakfasts

Barbara and her husband are wonderful host who make you feel right at home. (Amazing hosts). The home, rooms and gardens are beautiful. Wonderful hot tub, alpacas and Fergus the sweetest sheepdog. We traveled New Zealand for over 2 months and this was one our favorite stays.
