This small 3 bedroom cottage was very clean and perfect for our needs. Situated on the shores of Lake ONTARIO with vineyards behind the cottage. Close to shops, restaurants and beaches but far enough away to enjoy the quiet sounds of nature.

Fabulous location. Near the lovely Port Dalhousie and Niagara on the Lake and Niagara Falls. Cottage is as marketed. Good size and everything you could need for a weekend break.

Vineyard Getaway

This sis the second time I have stayed here and I love the quiet, the ships passing by, the birds all around, the cozy cottage. We will come again

Great location, it’s tucked away close to the lake, with cute little bunnies and squirrels that drop acorns on top of the cottage (in case you’re wondering what the noise in the morning is). Close drive to Port Dalhousie, which has a lot of cute shops and pretty good restaurants, and the restaurant prices are much better than Toronto. The drive between St Catherine’s and Niagara on the lake is also very pretty with the lake and lots of trees and vineyards. The cottage has AC in the main room so we kept the bedroom doors open to stay cool at night. There are bugs but we didn’t get bitten, and it is expected close to nature. I had a great time just chilling in front of the lake and reading a book. The wifi is slow, so we couldn’t online game at night like we wanted. It’s vineyard country and they usually sell local foods and cheese as well as wine, so I also recommend checking that out as well before committing to a grocery haul.

Short stay break away

The Lake House cottage is a wonderful place to enjoy for a short stay vacation. Situated at the end of a vineyard lane with a handful of cottages at a comfortable distance. Overlooking Lake Ontario, wonderful vineyards at your front door. The cottage is clean and well equipped with your basic needs. Will return!

Wow! What a gem.

We were a party of 5…2 couples and one adult child. As advertised, this is a cottage in a vineyard and right on the shore of Lake Ontario…very close to amenities in Port Dalhousie and St Catharines. It is as lovely as it sounds and came well equipped with everything we needed. Breathtaking view. We had a fabulous stay and would happily stay here again.

Very Mice Lake Canins

The cabins , linens and towels were very clean. Beds were comfortable. Cozy furnishings. Kitchen stocked with basics for lite cooking. Barbecues were great. All cabins are lakefront with beautiful views. They are at back of a quiet vineyard. Walk to Port Dalhousie in about 30 minutes. My only comment would be that outdoor furniture needs a good power washing. Overall a great place to stay! Would not hesitate to return.

The best location and Great Lake view!

We booked this little Lakehouse cottage for 4 nights the long weekend in May 2023! It ended up being a little cheaper than booking 3 rooms for 3 nights at a local Best Western and allowed us to all be together in one roomy place! It is located on a quiet stretch of property on the shores of Lake Ontario close to Port Dalhousie and set within acres of vineyards! The cottage was both cozy and roomy with 3 bedrooms for our family of 6 including a sizeable bathroom with nice shower and hot water!! Kitchen had Adequate kitchen utensils and dishes and cooking pots and pans and a dishwasher! The view is amazing! Loved being on the shores of Lake Ontario! This was a perfect choice for us as some were attending the St. Catharines Collegiate’s 100th Anniversary and some were visiting the falls! The Lakehouse cottage provided us with comfortable beds, crispy clean sheets, couches and chairs inside and cozy outdoor deck chairs! Adequate dishes, cooking utensils and basics for cooking! The fish flies were abundant but didn’t stop us from sitting outside! This little place was a great place to meet up after busy days! Can’t wait to come back again!

Beau chalet et superbe emplacement

Bien localisé, ce chalet était parfait pour visiter la région. L’annonce était fidèle à la réalité. Du chalet, on pouvait observer la magnifique vue du lac Ontario.

Girls getaway

It was lovely. Great vineyard getaway over looking the water. Comfortable sitting area around the fire. Cottage was perfect for our sleeping needs, meals and gathering in the living room. Everything was new, tasteful and stocked well. Host was accommodating and communicative. It was close to NOTL. Quiet and perfect for our girls getaway. Thank you for a great stay.

Short stay get-away

Great compact but very comfortable cottage. Clean and stocked with a number of necessities Backs onto a vineyard and overlooks Lake Ontario with a view of the Toronto skyline in the distance. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful; but you’re not far from a bustling beach community with good restaurants and shops just a few kilometres down the road. We stayed for just two nights but felt totally refreshed and rested when we left.
