🇨🇦Rocky Mountain Getaway is a full-furnished vacation rental cabin nestled between the Rocky Mountains and the Purcell Mountain Valley in Kimberley, BC. Our beautiful cabin is located in the St. Mary’s River Valley, a few minutes south of Kimberley and near the quaint town of Marysville. Mountain vistas, hiking and nature trails, the Kimberley Alpine Resort and three championship golf courses await. In the summer months, Kimberley boasts festivals, markets, mountain biking, fishing and more; something for everyone!

CABIN AMENITIES

Rocky Mountain Getaway offers three levels (1,722 sq. feet) of living space and sleeps up to 8. We can accommodate small to large groups.

◾The ground floor contains a suite with a queen bed and full bathroom, a recreation room with a pull-out bed and a covered area.

◾The main level consists of the master bedroom with a queen bed. There is a full bathroom, an open concept kitchen, living & dining room. The cozy fireplace and environmentally friendly geothermal heating/cooling system make the cabin very comfortable, winter and summer.

◾The upper loft hosts two double-sized beds and a ½ bath.

ACCESSIBILITY

The Canadian Rockies International Airport located just outside of Kimberley offers daily flights to and from Vancouver and Calgary. If you choose to take the scenic drive to Kimberley, it averages only four and a half hours from Calgary.

This cabin was fabulous, all of the amenities we could need were included and easy to find. We will plan to return to Kimberley and this property will definitely be on our list to rebook! It was so clean, comfortable and well stocked for our weekend away.

Cozy cabin

Enjoyed our stay in this beautiful log cabin. Extremely well maintained. Easy access to all the golf courses in the area. Just a few minutes from Kimberly where there are lots of restaurants to choose from. Would definitely recommend this place

Annual Golf trip

This is the 3rd time our group of four golfers has chosen this property. We have stayed at a few VRBO properties over the last 21 years while visting the Golf trail from Cranbrook/Kimberly area to Kelowna. This property is our favourite place to home base when staying in the Kimberly area. It’s consistently clean, well equipped with everything we could need during our stay. Very comfortable beds. Everyone needs a good sleep after a day on the golf trail. I would high recommend staying this property if you’re in the area. You won’t be disappointed! It’s located in a very quiet area…

Magnificent cabin

We would recommend this cabin to any body at any time. It was super clean and very well equipped. A true Kootenay experience with plenty of wildlife around it and top rated golf courses.

Awesome location

Thank you Joanna! We had a fantastic stay in "your neck of the woods". Your A frame cabin was super clean, exactly as described and located in a tranquil location. You're an extremely friendly and responsive hostess. The check in and check out procedures were very simple. Highly recommend this property and would stay again.

Spring break

4 adults and a baby stayed in this property. It was great having the downstairs for the young family while the grandparents could sleep on the main floor. Thankfully there was even a booster seat for the 1 year old as we forgot a high chair. So many things were available to us that made our stay feel like home. Would reserve this property again in a heart beat if needed to be in the area again

Nice home - back for our 5th stay

The home is kept in a clean and organized manner. We have stayed here in both summer and winter and it has everything you need - whether it’s a fire or BBQ. The home has plenty of kitchen equipment but you need to bring your own soap & shampoo for the bathroom. Will be back and recommend! Check out the mini putt at the top of the hill.

Disappointed

There was no problem with the cabin as I have stayed at these places before. The disappointment was no cable tv! We always travel for golf when NHL playoffs are on, and we had to watch on my I pad! Would not rent again!!!

Quiet Comfort.

This house was incredibly clean and spacious. Sitting on the deck and watching deer calmly walk down the road with their fawns was so beautiful. The BBQ was better than our own and the washer and dryer were an added bonus. There were so many things in the cupboard that made things so easy. Coffee filters, wax paper, salt, oil, BBQ lighters, plastic dishes and throw blankets. This house had it all. Mild inconvenience with the sun shining right into the loft in the early mornings. Electric blinds would be awesome for the loft windows! We loved this house. Thank you so much!!!

This was a wonderful place to stay if you are looking to get away to a quiet neighbourhood. We enjoyed the space very much. Booking and talking with the owner was so pleasant and easy. We are the Farrells, a family of 6. We first discovered Kimberley in the early 2000’s while camping at the Kimberley Riverside Campground. Each evening we took a stroll by the newly built cabins, dreaming of the day that we would own one. That dream became a reality in 2016 when we purchased our cabin.
In the summer months we enjoy hiking, biking, and swimming. We have also taken advantage of the many wonderful winter activities. It is our pleasure to share this joy with you.
