Great vacation spot

We really enjoyed the condo! It was clean and had a lot of space. Close to International Drive and Universal Studios.

Everything was nice except balcony furniture needs to be replaced and condo needs more bath towels, wash clothes & dish towels.

Spacious clean perfect location

Even better than I expected. Large 3 bed with den area. Perfect place for our large family. Responsive host. Excellent location. Would definitely stay again.

Loved it!

The condo was really pretty! Very convenient to Universal. Met the owner and he was very nice. We will definitely go back! So much better than our experiences staying in the resort hotels! So much space! We loved it!

Very clean. Beds and pillows were comfortable. We would stay again.

Kitchen could have use additional pots, pans, gadgets. The condo unit was quiet. The owner was very responsive when we contacted them.

Clean, spacious, good location for Universal

Great unit at Vista Cay, everything you need for a visit to Universal. Pubix next door. Kids enjoyed the pool. Kitchen well equipped . Washer and dryer were handy. Would stay here again. Thanks Maher!

Amazing!!!!!!!

we stayed at the same resort before and we had a great time ,This time was the best .This condo is so specious , upgraded ,and very comfortable . we really enjoyed the lake view and the owner who is a very nice Man himself came to check on us . Thank you Maher for letting us enjoy your beautiful place and we sure coming back .

Cancelled Condo without Notice

The Owner of the condo we rented sold the condo and never notified VRBO. We arrived in Orlando with no place to stay. Hot mess and unhappy!

Pretty good. Clean and comfortable

Condo was clean and comfortable. We were on a business trip and my two comments are: there were no closet hangers. We purchased some for all closets and left them there. Iron has scorched Marks from someone before us so it was not usable The property had some painting ongoing in entrance. The tape and signs were still there three days later.

Don't Stay Here!

This place is very tired and not well taken care of. Wireless internet did not work, main TV in living room did not work, most lightbulbs in dining room were burned out, place is really beat up and faucets in master bath were very hard to turn on and off. Owner ghosted me once I checked in. I love Vista Cay but renting this place was a huge mistake.

Great location and spacious condo

We loved the location and the size of the condo. It was actually our second year staying at this property. This year though we noticed something’s had been neglected. Nothing major but definitely needed some attention. Living room fan didn’t turn on, no pool towels at all, dining room chandelier almost all bulbs burnt out, sink faucet was loose, master bedroom fan didn’t work, master bathroom missing towel bar, and had multiple burnt out light bulbs. Maybe a new cleaning crew who would pay attention to details would be best for cleaning of this condo.

There were some problems.

Ultimately, our trip was fine. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. However, there is a dinner plate-sized mold spot in the ceiling above the master bed. Everytime you use the dryer, water leaks from the hole. (we found and used a bucket) The elevator worked about half of the time. And one night, the parking lot gate would not open--the parking lot was empty because no one could enter. These last two are Vista Cay problems, but caused us inconvenience.

Dear Christina I wanted to express how apologetic feeling I had reading your review as I strive to have my gusts have their best travelling experience when they stay at my place, which I have been doing my best effort to do that. Yes after your departure I was informed regarding that minor drop leak from the dryer exhaust pipe that I immediately took care of removing the damaged part and replaced it after repairing and new paint. I just wish you reported me up on your arrival. Also I contacted the resort management regarding the gait and they confirmed that they are having a new 24 hours security company transition system, which could be causing the issue if someone tries to get in unauthorized. I feel your frustration and wanted to express my gratitude for you helping me achieving my goal to making my place the best home away from home for my gusts, Sincerely Maher

Bare, Bare Minimum

Place was clean but bare minimum. Half a roll of toilet paper, many light bulbs were out. No supplies ie dishwashing liquid/tabs, salt and pepper - nothing. Minimum kitchen stuff and quantities. Living room TV did not work - we even stayed in to have the repair guy come in, but still not fixed so we did not have a LR TV for our stay . No hooks in bathroom to hang towels or anything up. A bit of a disappointment for sure. Needs some TLC all around.

Central Location, Large Condo

Pros: location (4 mi from Universal, 15 min to Disney, everything in the condo was nice and comfortable, close to grocery and places to eat), size ( the Unit was large and everyone could find their own space), clean, bedding provided, towels provided (1 bath and 1 pool per person), the owner responded to all questions promptly, washer/dryer was full size...so many good things. The only things we can say negative was the Unit was loud at times-(morning yard work began most mornings about 7am, street noise is constant, the ceilings are tall and therefor everything in the Unit echos, you can hear the people upstairs) There are no bath mats, we felt uncomfortable stepping out of shower directly onto the beautiful floor. The furniture is wood- we found a few placemats but no coasters, we didn’t want to harm furniture. The Unit was so great and 5 adults and 2 teens loved it! Thanks for provided a great place an entire family can be together.

Not bad.

Property just ok. Couldn’t figure out how to work tv. Owner did call but we weren’t there to fix. Not a huge deal but maybe leave directions? No booklet about the property either. Maybe a binder with Vista Cay amenities? Local restaurants? Hours of operation? How about leaving more than one trash bag? Small but odd detail, some of the wall furnishings were missing. One wall had a candle holder and the matching one one the other side of the wall was missing. Just screw holes. A mirror or picture was missing in the living room, just screw holes. Also there is nothing there like salt and pepper, oil etc. may not have used them but if you plan on cooking better stock up. Just minor stuff but overall a nice place.

Condo very clean- Kitchen had bare necessities

Condo was EXTREMELY clean & the space was very nice. The property grounds was nice & felt safe. Pool was small for the number of condos in complex so very crowded. (also had issues with parking lot being FULL) Very convenient for going to event @ Convention center. Publix Grocery store really close too. (We visited during BUSY time so was told that 's why parking lot & pool were overcrowded) The view from the balcony isn't 100% accurate. You can see that view, but directly straight off the balcony you see the end of the pond & a road that was being constructed so was noisy during our stay (not owners fault). We had some major HICCUPS when checking in but was able to contact the owner via his cell phone & everything was straightened out. Kitchen had bare bare necessities but again the owner ran right out & purchased a couple of items to make it right. Also there's a Mile trail around the pond for walking or running. OVERALL it's a super nice condo & the owner went out of his way to make things right. Any time we had an issue he was reachable via his Cell.

Just like you to know that after your departure we updated everything and painted the unit and now its very modern looking and spotless Went through the whole kitchen inventory to be sure the gusts have what they need . you will see how next gusts are going to comment so you know that we are really proud that unit now is one of the best on the whole resort . Can’t review the property because booking was cancelled!

I had received no information for checking in, which was weird because I knew it was a gated property. I reached out AFTER the listed check in time to ask how to check in and received a call from VRBO customer service about half an hour after I messaged the owner saying the owner had cancelled my reservation for a “property emergency,” leaving me scrambling to find somewhere to stay. I will say I did receive a full refund, and I understand accidents and emergencies happen. My frustration is that I had no communication from the owner about anything. No information prior to check in about anything and no communication from the owner that there was a potential emergency or delay with my check in.

Clean, Safe and Convenient

The condo was clean and as described. The check in process worked seamlessly and the distance to Universal Studios was as promoted. Spacious unit with three bedrooms and one pull out sofa. Needs more supplies. For example, only 4 water glasses for a unit that sleeps 8, limited towels and no sheets or blankets for pull out sofa. Very sparingly supplied.

Went downhill fast

We stayed at this property before a few years ago it was great. This time was different I’m not a clean freak but this place had issues. Having said that a little TLC and the place would be amazing. Base boards needed painting. No lights above the sink until I got some bulbs and put them in. Tv is way too confusing not to mention none of the remotes had batteries. No cushion’s on the patio furniture. Dining table as well as outside furniture needs to be replaced. The bed covers were dirty. The bed itself was horrible. I believe it might be just box springs. Very loud and uncomfortable. No I’m not exaggerating. I don’t blame the cleaning people they work hard this is a management issue. Normally I would never leave a review but there were so many issues.
