Beautiful location and great host!

Tim was a great host! He had a bottle of wine and a box of caramels waiting on us when we got there. He responded back on all questions I had regarding a spa treatment for my wife, as well as who to get ski equipment from. He came by the first morning we were there and went over all the functions of the house which was very helpful.The house was very spacious which worked out well with our party of seven. We stayed in three nights and cooked as opposed to going out. The kitchen had everything you needed for prepare family meals. My adult kids and son-in-law really enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and indoor steam room after skiing all day. We were able to watch the college football playoffs on the projection TV that was located in the downstairs family room while we had a great fire going in the fireplace.The house had beautiful fews of the surrounding mountains and the valley below! Especially with all the snowfall we got while we were there. The only disappointment we had was we were not able to ski in and ski out of the house due to the Panorama Trail not being open while we were there due to the Ski Patrol strike. This resulted in us having to drive down the mountain each morning to ski.

Cant get any better

This is a true ski in ski out villa. The house is top notch, the host, Tim, was great. He was quick to answer any question and was very helpful. The house was perfect. From the Gourmet Kitchen to the Media Room. We never had to leave the house to go find food or entertainment. The house is located at the Top of Canyons and you cant find a better location. We got to hit fresh runs every morning for about 30-45 minutes before anyone else due to mid mountain lifts not being available til 930 to others unless you stayed on the mtn. We got fresh tracks every day and got to ski some runs 3 times before anyone else made it up to us. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a one of a kind skiing experience.

Great house, amazing ski-in/out, wonderful host, be aware of altitude

We had a great stay. Tim was a perfect host. The house is exactly as pictured and very well stocked (it's obviously Tim's home, not a rental-only). As others have said, the ski-in/out was fantastic, even though we didn't have a lot of snow. Two things to be aware of... first, it's so wonderfully high up the mountain that I think it's something like 2,000 feet higher than the base. We had some members of our group who felt the altitude and spent some time at the base. And second, the study with pull-out couch is kind of in the same room as the loft. They are connected by a spiral staircase with no doorway, a slight issue if folks are planning to use them as separate rooms. Overall, highly recommended and we'd definitely return.

Excellent ski in / ski out location

The house is located near the top of the mountain. Looking at the Park City trail map, it is located at the intersection of Panorama and the base of Snow Meadow. Thankfully, there was enough parking for two large SUV's inside the garage because it snowed every day. The bedrooms are nicely spread out so guests don't feel cramped. Gas fireplaces throughout the house were an added bonus. We got skis delivered to the house from Black Tie and lift passes through Epic Mix so we didn't waste any time at the base of the mountain. Overall, we'd rent at this location again.

Great Stay

Large Beautiful Home! Great Owner! Great Communication! Took my Parents, Siblings, Nieces and Nephews to this beautiful home in The Colony at Canyons. It was everything that was advertised and more. Pictures don't do it justice. Location on the mountain was perfect. easy access from 3 different lifts (easy blue runs). Owner was fantastic. Tim was available to me at many different times of day and quick to answer phone or text. Highly recommend this property.

Best location in Park City for fresh untouched snow every morning!!!

This house was once again a great choice for a family that enjoys skiing. We find the trails in the Colony neighborhood to be very much like Deer Valley but open to snowboarders.

Amazing place!

Owner Tim is super attentive. He goes above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The ski access is unparalleled and the room setup is extraordinary. Gated area so super safe. House was impeccably clean. All in all our stay was fantastic. Thank you Tim!

Another great stay

This is the second time our group of two families have stayed here. Tim (owner) is very welcoming and responsive. The house is cozy, spacious and well laid out, with amazing views and easy access to Panorama run. It’s high up on the mountain so make sure you have 4wd and suggest plan for most meals to be at the house.

Best location in Park City for fresh untouched snow every morning!!!

This beautifully furnished house is superbly located high on the mountain availing itself to fresh snow and pristinely groomed untouched trails as you go out each morning. It is well designed and provides ample room for two or more families to spread out throughout the home and has wonderful entertaining spaces. The outdoor deck is a perfect place to watch skiers as they come down the Panorama Run in Canyons. Easy to drop in for lunch or throw off layers as it warms up but just down the hill from Cloud Dine if you want to grab lunch on the mountain. The Panorama run feeds directly into the Dreamscape and Daybreak lifts giving guests a multitude of runs each morning that are perfect corduroy. The Owners are very hospitable and it was easy to have groceries delivered ahead of time and Ski Butlers meet us there to deliver ski rental equipment. We had an amazing vacation in a perfect home, we highly recommend it!!!

EPIC SKI HOUSE LOCATION!!!!

AMAZING HIGH MOUNTAIN SKI IN/OUT HOME. WE HAD FOUR KIDS UNDER 12, AND SIX ADULTS, TOTALLY SMOOTH AND EXCEPTIONALLY NICE HOME. UNREAL VIEWS OF UTAH MOUNTAIN RANGES. OWNERS ARE VERY HELPFUL AND HONORABLE WITH ALL NEEDS!!!!

Top of the World

Tim's house is one of a kind, a spacious and gracious home perched at 9,000 feet with endless views. The property is on 13 acres, so you'll feel at one with nature, and gifted with privacy, serenity and quiet -- but you're only 15 minutes away from all the shopping, dining and sociability that Park City has to offer. We visited in the fall and saw the aspen trees changing color, and we were able to hike right out Tim's front door. I can only imagine the convenience and brilliance of being able to ski out the back door in the winter right onto some of the Canyons' best trails. In any case, the home was comfortable, well outfitted, and suit our needs perfectly. We can't wait to stay again.

Epic Luxury / Family Ski Home

Our party of 12 people created many a fond memory this winter vacation in this amazing home. Twelve steps out the back door and we were on the slopes making first tracks. Twelve back at the end of the day to the hot tub. Ping pong table was enjoyed by the kids. Large open floor plan accommodated party of 20 for NYE dinner. Cozily furnished. Tim the owner goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and was responsive at all times. The house is relatively high up in the Colony so recommend a 4-wheel drive for winter stays. We hope to book again next year!

Incredible house and location

This was one of the nicest homes we have ever rented on VRBO! The owner was great to work with and we really enjoyed our stay. We would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for the perfect ski house.

Amazing slope-side house

Beautiful and comfortable house. Convenient to ski in/out. Everything went smoothly with no problems whatsoever. Great choice if you want a warm, comfortable home to fully enjoy the mountain.

Perfect!

The house is beautiful and the host is incredibly gracious. Our family of 6 stayed with a family of 4 in total comfort. From the hot tub to ping pong, all ages were entertained at all times. We can't wait to return!

Absolutely beautiful and spacious ski home

We are two families with teenage children who all love to ski. I cannot accurately convey how perfect this home was for us. My wife loved the decorators style and the ability to make a very large and impressive home feel warm and inviting. The teenagers loved the downstairs family room and bedroom to have their no adults allowed conversations. They also loved the 15 foot walk to the trail and quite often by the time my wife and I were ready to ski, they were long gone. We all loved the hot tub and views for miles from many rooms. We had tried to rent this house before and see why it is so popular. Magnificent! We have rented for next year already.

Amazing Ski House

Just spent 5 days in this amazing ski house. The views off the decks and out the windows overlooking the ski runs are amazing. Every room is beautifully furnished and appointed. The kitchen has every imaginable utensil. Step out of the the ski room right onto the slopes, and when you return the outdoor hot tub awaits you. The house sits on its own short road and is completely private. The vacation could not have been better.

Absolutely stunning, truly ski in/ski out property

My family of eight stayed in this home from December 27 – January 2. There could not be a better location to stay in the Colony. This home is absolutely stunning and the views are beyond beautiful. One of the coolest features of the home is the ski room, which has a gas stove allowing you to take off your ski equipment and leave it right there. Unlike many of the homes that boast ski in or ski out, this home truly is ski in/ski out. You need only walk out the ski room about 15 feet to the run and walk right back in when you’re finished for the day. I also cannot say enough about the owner. He was so nice and even left us a large goodie basket upon our arrival. His hospitality truly made us feel right at home during our stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this home again.

Great property, located in a bucolic mountainside setting! Highly Recommended!

My son and I stayed here over Labor Day weekend (2016), but were already very familiar with the general location since we have been skiing at the Canyons for many years. The home is immaculate, well appointed, spacious and beautiful as one would expect for any Colony estate home. The home features spectacular views, tons of privacy, the great outdoors/woods (that are right outside your door or window) and tons of space! We only wished it had been ski season so that we could have taken advantage of the ski in/ski out access to one of the best parts of the Canyons side of Park City Mountain Resort. Note; you will need a car/uber to get to town but we suppose you could also jump on the Quicksilver gondola and ski over to Old Town too!
