Summary:
Maisonnets invites you to experience the charm of this beautiful east-facing harbourside one-bedroom apartment. Literally a 'place in the sun', it’s located in one of the most sought-after areas in Sydney. Featuring floor-to-ceiling windows to capture the morning light in the living area, the apartment offers dual access to either Elizabeth Bay or Macleay Street, where an abundance of eateries, shops, and bars are just a stroll away.

Situated in a security building, the apartment also includes its own secure undercover parking space for added convenience."

The Space:
Enter the apartment into a light-filled, open-plan kitchen/living/dining area with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking beautiful Elizabeth Bay and the harbour. The kitchen comes complete with dishwasher, full-size oven, ceramic cooktop and everything you need to be comfortable for either a long or short stay.

Stretch out in the living areas comfy sofa with ottoman, while the dining table seats 4. A separate bedroom has a double bed and en-suite bathroom with combined bathtub and glass-framed shower. There are coin-operated laundry facilities located in the first floor of the building. Please note washer and dryer in not inside the unit.

Potts Point and Elizabeth Bay have long been popular, colourful inner city suburbs and today is no exception. Youll find many wonderful and varied eateries to suit any budget right within walking distance of the apartment. Just on MacLeay Street alone, you can enjoy delicious modern Greek food at the Apollo, an intimate dinner at the Macleay St Bistro or visit the famous Kylie Kwongs restaurant, Billy Kwong. For grocery shopping, Woolworths is a 3 minute walk from the apartment, also on MacLeay Street. Youre just 4 minutes walk to Beare Park in Elizabeth Bay, when you can enjoy a picnic right on the harbours edge.

The apartment comes with its own secure undercover parking space but if you prefer public transport, the 311 bus runs along Macleay Street which will take you into Sydneys CBD (Downtown) and The Rocks, home to Sydneys iconic Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Kings Cross Station is about 10 minutes away on foot, linking you to the CBD and the inner west suburbs in one direction and Bondi Junction shopping hub in the other.

Getting Around:
The 311 bus runs through Potts Point stopping right on Macleay St. and there are numerous other bus services as well as being only a five minute walk to Kings Cross Station. It is an easy to walk into the city from this location and will only take about 15-20 minutes but there is always an abundance of cabs to be found.

Other Things to Note:
* Before you arrive you will be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider Truvi. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Truvi will contact you via email and/or text to complete the verification. Please do so prior to arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in process.


* An additional $40 will be charged to your total if a check-in happens after 8 pm and we require your arrival time as the Concierge does not live on site.

* A mandatory full clean of the property and complete linen change will be done every 4 weeks and added to your total booking amount for any booking longer than a month. This will be added to your total amount and processed separately.

*If you are eligible for a full refund as per our cancellation policy, a processing fee of $50 still applies.

*After check-in, if you choose to shorten your stay, you will receive a 50% refund of the unused nights of your booking.

* Please note that this property has been specifically catered for short-term rentals by MaisonNets and is not a hotel.

Nice inside, not so much on the outside

No AC. Fan didn’t work (reported and acknowledged, but not corrected). Hot water heater alarm kept us awake at night, not corrected before departure. Inside unit was good, outside was terrible smells and noisy neighbors hood access to bud and trains. (windows had to be open to breathe). Fixing things had to be approved by the owner, and was not done prior to our departure.

Great place with a great location. Only knocks i have are that the place does not have air conditioning (that may be common in Australia but sydney in summer is hot). Also was surprised about the difference in electric outlets between states and Australia. We had to scramble

Nice quite place in good location, easy to walk places

Good overall... nice sunny aspect, good view ,but does get a bit hot as a consequence... (needs a couple of floor fans, - has one tabletop fan)Really easy to walk to food shops, restaurant/ bars just up the road, but apartment is nice and quite itself set down the hill. Also easy pleasant walks to botanical gardens, and key Sydney sights or around the bays.We would have preferred an easier checkout procedure rather than having to go back up the road for 6 mins to drop keys.... at least it wasn't raining..Thanks however for the stay..

enjoyed Elizabeth Bay!

This place was lovely: small but comfortable, well-designed and well-equipped, a great location! No AC but fans worked well as promised, generous kitchen and modern bath. Would stay here again in a heart-beat!

Stay in Elizabeth Bay

The apartment was as described, well located for public transport and local services. Half hour walk via fantastic Botanic Gardens to the Opera House. suggestion for finding property on check-in if arriving on foot from Kings Cross station clearer mapping instructions would help!

Almost perfect

Our stay here was almost perfect. Location was great. Liaison with check in etc. was excellent. Our only complaint was that the furniture (lounge and ottoman and chairs) were badly stained and we had to put a sheet over it to cover it. There is no air conditioning and two Dyson fans are supplied. Fortunately temperature didn't get over 25 degrees so it was comfortable with the fans. Facilities were great. We would definitely stay here again if they cleaned their upholstered furniture

Location lived up to expectations and beautiful surroundings. Great walks around foreshore easily accessible. Same for shops and places to eat. Apartment is ideal for a couple only and equipped with everything you need. Queen bed is super comfy and thoughtful toiletries provided in bathroom. Big shout out to our concierge Mark who went above and beyond when dealing with garage remote. Would most definitely stay again.
