We booked this trip for a small getaway during April vacation. The location and the amenities did not disappoint. The directions were easy to follow and the host answered all our questions.

Cannot beat the morning view.

Was an excellent stay, the national park is on the other side of the lake so the view is stellar. Had a very relaxing stay, most of it spent lounging on the lake beach.

Great view of the lake with wonderful outdoor equipment to relax or use the lake. Indoor is well maintained with great kitchen amenities. Second year here and it’s great.

Family vacation

The outdoor space could not have been better! The water was clear and beautiful beach area very nice. The house was also very nice and as described.

Great stay

Very clean house on a great property. Lake is beautiful. 2nd year staying here. Pizza by george and stillwells ice cream a few miles away is a must.

This was my son’s first family vacation with us and Nana and Pop-pop. We stayed 3 nights. First when it says steep driveway that’s an understatement! It was our first laughing moment. Just close your eyes it’ll be fine. The view is so peaceful. The little private beach was perfect, we do wish there was at-least one more Adirondack chair though. The kayaks and things included to enjoy are a a great plus but need a little updating here and there. The house was very clean and stocked with enough to get by. Felt like home enough. The deck in the water is also another amazing feature. We loved fishing off of it. The contact I had responded quickly and was very nice. It was honestly a near perfect stay we all left so happy and made so many memories. The only things I would add or change would be adding more things to the kitchen like a can opener, big cookie sheet. Add more hooks in the bathroom close to shower, figure out how to get better water pressure in shower, get a bigger shower mat, get beach towel sized towels. Extension cords in bedrooms And if the mattresses were updated a little (they were about a 3/5) we wouldn’t have left. For what it was it was amazing so adding etc just takes it beyond. If you’re questioning on booking. Do it. Make the memories at the lake. Thank you for having us.

This property was a beautiful little getaway for our family. The lake house offered many amenities that kept us all entertained on the lake. The private little beach access was perfect for our kids. The lake and view was gorgeous. The property itself was comfortable and ideal for our needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. We all look forward to going back again next year! Communication was top notch and check in process was easy.

We had an event locally and I had Come in. This house was exactly what we needed at the end of the day to relax and wine.

The site is fantastic. Beautiful view. Right on lake, nice deck, and a lot of room,kitchen was spacious, nice TVs that cN be casted by movile device, seating in house on both floors very nice. Sheets clean. Fire pit with wood set up was a great addidition. Where improvements would be made, bedroom foor on second floor sticks badly, plane it down, wakes partner up when opening, water temp can be extremely hot, fix on water heater. Shower water pressure was very soft, this needs to be fixed. Moss on driveway near entrance, please take care of, a few people almost fell. Put nicer chairs on deck, these were old and ugly. Make sure to have enough kayak paddles, only had enough for 3 kayaks to go out at once. Finally, have this house professionally cleaned behind every nook and cranny. Lots of grim behind sink, on floor boards and replace metal vents that have rusted along with caulking. With a bit of work this could be a true 5 star, but some guests felt it could be cleaner with a few simple updates to outside chairs paddles, and inside hot water and clenliness. Again, loved the house and location, and a lot of things, but the negatives negate anything close to a 4 or 5 star which could be attained with a few improvements.

Beautiful Location

Great location, lots of amenities. Central heat is a bit wonky. No heat on 3rd floor. Bring extra blankets or heating device if visiting in the cooler months.

NH - lake house stay

Everything is as described. Nice to be able to use items in shed: fishing poles, life vests, and toys. Loved the paddle boat and kayak. Kitchen was stocked with basic necessities to cook meals. Beds were comfortable enough but pillows could use updating. Owner was very nice and responsive to any questions or issues I had. Would stay again. The area was very relaxing.

Walk to a hike

We went in November for a small family retreat and did expect to nor did we swim or kayak. But being on the lake, sitting on the dock and small beach was a magical way to see so many many stars in the sky. It was steps to walk into Pawtuckaway park and go in a hike. We made it to the fire tower!

A fantastic place! All of my family loved this place! Walk out the door to the lake, with all the water toys. By far the best place we have stayed for a summer vacation! Loved the sandy beach too!

Exactly what we were looking for for our family vacation! The location was perfect, and the beach area was ideal for our little ones to safely play and enjoy the water. The home had everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable stay. We had such a wonderful time that we’ll definitely be booking again. This is sure to become a new family tradition, and we can’t wait to come back!

BEAUTIFUL LAKE PLACE

The house's location is perfectly lovely for friends and family. Many amenities with the house and the heating system proved to be more than adequate for us, being Floridians. YES, the lake view says it all. You can relax inside the house on one of the 3 floors of living space, or go out the back door to fish, go canoeing or enjoy a cocktail on the dock. Great fire pit with seating too. The owners are wonderfully helpful. We will be back!
