The Beach Shack Family + Pet friendly

Original 60’s beach shack with 2 bedrooms, funky kitchen and large covered outdoor area.
Easy, flat stroll to local cafes, good coffee, yummy restaurants and the beach!

The space
Neat and tidy beach shack decked out with new and modern furniture to make your stay comfortable, including air con and Nespresso machine!
Only 800m to the main st, the beach and coles - all flat walk!
Linen all provided including bath and beach towels.
Bring your friends, family or pets!!
Please note it is a general house rule that dogs/pets must generally remain outside, including overnight. If you wish to request otherwise please do so by contacting me prior to booking.

Guest access
The entire home is accessible to you. The shed out the back is locked for our private use.

Other things to note
You are required to use a few stairs at both the front and rear of the home. Two stairs to the front door, then the laundry/bathroom is down three stairs from the main living/kitchen area (same level as the back patio. **please note - there is a new build happening beside our beach shack, likely dates March - Oct 2026**

The beach shack is quaint and perfect for a little getaway! The host set up an extra bed for our daughter and the treats in the fridge were a wonderful surprise. We even got a message on the day to let us know that we could check in early if we liked!We’ll be back!!

We loved staying here in the beach shack 3 girls little dog great yard for dog she loves it Nice close to dad nursing home we from the GCVery clean comfortable like home like We will be back. And it was very good that the host was fast response replying back to emails Thanks again Casey

Hi, I always appreciate constructive feedback however I am not sure what you are referring to. Absolutely appreciate the 60’s beach shack is not like a modern home but I do hope between my description, the photo’s and the effort we go to make the house comfy and well stocked makes people enjoy their stay and feel they are getting exactly what is described when booking. Thanks for coming, I hope you enjoyed your time in Coolum.

The property is a traditional, small beach shack, as advertised. We were there for a family event so didn't spend much time in the house. The oven could do with an upgrade to make self catering a little more efficient. Overall the place is fine if you're in and out and just need clean, basic accommodation.Coby is a very easy and helpful communicator.

Host was very good, messaging details about key etc was so easy.Love, love loved this 50/60s beach shack.Very clean, air was on when we arrived.Could not fault this accommodation at all, highly recommended.Walking distance to every thing.

The whole experience was great, close to shops and beach made it great as well as having such a well fenced yard for our dog.The house was exceptional clean and well stocked with everything you could need and more. The little extras were really appreciated, we will be back :)

What a great little beach shack we throughly enjoyed our stay there. It’s old but that gives it character and hosts have made it so homely and lovely inside with lots of beautiful touches. It’s in the perfect location you can walk to the shops and beaches. All the headlands are amazing and the Noosa national park walk is breathtaking

Dog friendly retro little beach shack

Awesome little beach shack, only a short walk to central Coolum beach shops and restaurants. Dog friendly backyard and Coolum Beach is very dog friendly. Enjoyed our stay.

Lovely stay, good location

Had a lovely stay, good location, 900m to cafes and dog beach. Place was clean and had everything we needed. Accurately advertised, host was very responsive and friendly. It was great to be able to bring our pups with us, they love the beach!

Nice location, 12-15 minute walk to shops, cafes and beach, great dog beach a further 10 or 15 minute walk. Very peaceful house, a lot of privacy in the back garden. This is our 2nd stay and will return. Thanks Coby.
