The only thing I suggest is you make sure and bring extra bath towels, they gave 4 total for a 5 day stay for 2 people and when asked for a clean towel as there is no washer and dryer in this unit, the response was we are not a hotel that provides endless towels. Besides that, it’s a great location for the price!

We really enjoyed our stay at Villas on the Gulf. The location couldn’t be more perfect. The condo was clean and the bed was glorious. We slept like babies. The furniture in the living room met our needs but could be updated to something more comfortable in the future. The shower head also could be updated. The water flow could not be adjusted. All in all, we were incredibly happy with our stay. We would definitely consider staying again next year.

The only problem was the guy who was pounding on our door and threatening to have my car moved and claimed I was a liar because I didn't know I was supposed to. A manager? Very angry and rude! Otherwise we loved the place.

This is an older property. it's a little ragged around the edges, but it's good where it counts: very clean, great bed to sleep in, clean well-furnished kitchen and comfortable furniture. You have to walk through the complex to get to the beach. It's not a far distance but if walking is a problem, you may want to look elsewhere. The TV had no directions with it, so there is no cable or local channels. Only streaming services that are free (no Amazon Prime, Netflix, etc.).

Great Find

The E4 condo was great. Kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. The building was a tad hard to find, but only a short walk to the beach. Only issues we had were with the hot water running out, and the door lock was difficult to close/lock. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. Loved the Villas on the Gulf! Already looking to plan a trup for October.

Villas by the sea

Perfect location for a low key vacation with the family. Amenities were sufficient. Nice location to the pool and turtle pond. Cons: kitchen utensils were dirty from previous guest. Unit did not have ocean view as was in the listing. Despite those minor details our family greatly enjoyed our stay. We had a great time.

9 night stay

We had a great stay, everything was almost perfect except for the shower, the hot water was on short supply and ran out very quickly. Also the front door was a little tricky as it didn’t want to latch properly.

Adequate for price

Condo needs maintenance — patio door lock broken & other door difficult to work. Areas need yellow paint to avoid miss step or falls. Proximity to beach is great. Lots of rules regarding departure when you’re being charged a hefty maid fee.

Condo notesBalcony and entry way into the condo was disgustingly unclean with dirty grime and cob webs. The entry door itself is dirty and very unappealing. The outside light is also dirty. The tracks for the balcony door were black with something that looked very much like mold. The bathroom shower is VERY MUCH a trip hazard. It is so long it puddles on the floor of the tub and someone could so easily slip and fall because of it. It’s evident by the built up scum on the bottom of it that it has been that way for quite awhile. It should have been cut off to a better length as soon as it was hung up. As for the inside of the condo, is was adequately cleaned and decorated nicely. The cabinetry really could use some touching up and painting. The furniture really needs to be re-stuffed as they sag badly on the front sides of them and are not comfortable. The bed mattress was terribly uncomfortable and the springs inside of it could be felt. It was not possible to get a comfortable night’s sleep. The linens and bath towels were nice though and appeared cleaned and freshened up. We were impressed by the overall look and feel of the property as a whole. The landscaping was pretty and seemed to be well kept up with. We enjoyed watching the ducks and babies, and the turtles. For these things I would give a good rating. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the actual condo we had due to the uncleanliness on the exterior and the aforementioned other issues mentioned. (more……………)

There's no way to sleep

First of all, we are four members. We thought there will be 1 bed and 1 sofa bed because it was written on the site(Also the ocean view). But I wanna ask that: WHERE IS THE SOFA BED??? ALSO WHERE IS THE OCEAN VIEW...There was just some sofas and no sofa BED.Also it was really difficult to lock/open the door. There was no manual to lock the door so we tried to lock the door in several ways and finally got the exact way to lock it at the last day.Plus, the view is exactly swimming pool view.
Where is the sofa bed?

Long weekend

When we arrived our room had not been cleaned, however, I called the property manager and was promised a $100 credit and given a sincere apology. We went out for dinner and when we came back the place smelled great and was spotless. The instructions were clear and easy to understand. I would stay at this property again. I am disappointed that I have not received any credit yet for the uncleared space. I will contact the property manager again for resolution.

Pensacola

Condo was wonderful after the first one(same company) wasn’t very good, Pensacola Beanch properties was wonderful, and took care of us very nicely Vrbo customer services leaves a lot to be desired however. After showing the pictures in the first condo, Vrbo said it was “Up to our standards,” yet it wasn’t up up the property’s company’ standards, and they were on the spot, on a Sunday, and treated us great. The person at Vrbo didn’t give a damn about us, or the issue at hand. Pensacola Beach properties and Tracy? FANTASTIC! I’d give her and them 10 stars. Vrbo? 2 stars at best

Really Good

Enjoyed our stay very much. Didn’t realize it was an upstairs unit until arrival. I’m sure I just missed that somehow, but we made it fine. Loved this peaceful beach neighborhood with lake, fountain, ducks, turtles—very cool. Unit is less than 2 blocks from beach. Bathroom could use update — hot water does not last long at all, but would we stay in this unit again? Absolutely! We left 3 chairs, an umbrella, beach toys and a boogie board in closet on deck. Hope that was okay and that future guests enjoy these items. In the words of my 7 year old grandson, “we should really thank the people that have this place, and let us stay here.” So Thank You! Served our needs well.
