We loved our stay at this gorgeous house. Loved the artwork and the happy feeling of the property. And hearing Puffing Billy and seeing it go past war fun. Myra was a wonderful host Very helpful and easy to talk to. Emerald is a great spot to visit as is the surrounding area.

The house was lovely, the outside does not do it justice when you pull up. The bedrooms were cosy and beautifully furnished throughout. Lovely artwork and nick naks around made it homely and special. The out door area was amazing and would be even better in summer sitting outside for a meal and watch TV or just relax. The yard was great for animals. The wildlife around was a bonus for us also. Our hosts were easy to communicate with.

Emerald Views

A very clean and comfortable place to stay. The outdoor living area was great and had sufficient heaters to keep everyone warm. Whilst it's an older property the hosts have done a wonderful job in making it welcoming and comfortable.

Cozy and Beautiful

We had a wonderful stay at the property. Had a lovely time with our friends and family and many kept commenting how beautiful and cosy the place is. We will definitely return when the opportunity arises. Highly Recommended!

Cosy classic home

We enjoyed every bit of the house. The decoration, the lighting n the deck. The heating. It’s a home that full of love. Myra has been very responsive, and accommodating, we enjoyed a lot.

Visiting the kids

The hosts had taken the effort to make the place welcoming with mood lights on and the artificial coal fire lit up. It was conveniently located to town and dog walks along the Puffing Billy railway line. Everything worked as it should do and the backyard was fully enclosed.

Travelling with dogs for 1st time.

The property was great. The home was inviting. Relaxed the moment you stepped inside. A warmed environment, with a glow from artifical fireplace. Every thing was provided. We were able to have family visit, and had lunch on large outdoor deck. Close to town centre, walking trails and an off leash dog area. All that was needed was a longer stay.

Emerald Views

We came to stay at Emerald Views which is not far from my daughter in Macclesfield who was getting married so I had overnight adult children and grandchildren share the house with me. The position is great but the weather left much to be desired and certainly was not conducive to using the BBQ and the lovely little garden. The kitchen is well equipped as is the whole house. I would be happy to stay there again!! Felicity

Felicity and her family were a delight to deal with. They left the property very neat and clean. Wonderful communication. So sorry the weather was not co-operating, but that's what we love about Melbourne- you never know what you're going to get. At least you had the big undercover deck to enjoy. I would highly recommend her to any future hosts.

Tree-change

Older than we thought but that added the right feel to being in the dandenongs , a very quaint little house we enjoyed staying in . Due to changed circumstances due to illness of a “ shared parenting “a couple arrived later than planned which made the Friday a non-event so the offer of a later check-out was appreciated

Our host Myra was magnificent and our stay at Emerald Views Getaway was fantastic. Our friendly dog was well catered for in a well equipped fully fenced backyard which he loved . The house was very clean and tidy with little extras to help our stay easier . Highly recommended staying. Cheers J and P xo
