Beautiful neighborhood to walk and play in. Short walk to henley island and grandstand. Equipped with all your outdoor dining and entertainment needs.
Excellent choice for cozy winter getaways as well! Snuggle up by the fire, take the dog out for a nice hike at the local dog park, ice fish or skate on the Martindale pond minutes away!

Great location! Overall cottage is nice, furniture needs to be upgraded and floor should be replaced. Well equipped with dishes, cup&glasses and utensils. Small nightstand on each side of the master bed would be helpful.

Sarah did a wonderful job hosting us. We were there for the 142nd Henley royal regatta and we had everything we needed. The only issue with the area is the lack of grocery stores close by.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Sarah's cozy cottage. The house is quaint and was ideal for the two humans and two dogs to be in. The fenced-in yard was a bonus and allowed us to dine outside and let the dogs hang out with us. The main bedroom was a bit tight, but the bed was comfortable. And the location cannot be beat. Walking distance to a small business district and a public (dog-friendly) beach, as well as an easy commute to the Shaw Festival. The one item missing were sufficient eating utensils, so you might want to pack some for your visit. We would highly recommend Sarah's cozy cottage.

We loved our stay in Port Dalhousie! The house was cozy, with freshly cleaned floors. The bed was comfy and the water pressure was fabulous! True to the listing, a 15 minute walk brought us to the beach and carousel as well as several great restaurants and coffee shops. Lots of walkers in the area! We cooked breakfast twice-kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook. We even did a load of laundry (bonus-I didn't see w/d listed as an amenity) Communication with Sarah was excellent; she answered any questions very quickly.Would definitely stay again!

Cute little house surrounded by gardens throughout the neighborhood. Fenced in yard for a pupper or two or three. The down-town to Port Dalhousie is about a four minute drive from restaurants and coffee shops. The house puts you within easy reach of two lakes (Ontario and Erie), Niagara Falls, and many wineries, breweries, and distilleries. Makes a great home base rain or shine, cold or hot.

Perfect getaway

The cottage was consistent with the listing and had so many thoughtful details (and it’s in a very walkable area). My husband and I really enjoyed our weekend getaway with our two dogs and can’t wait to make another trip here in the future!

Wonderful

Perfect way to spend our wedding anniversary weekend. Loved the location. Loved the fact that our dog was welcomed too. Came home every evening after visiting the wineries and relaxed by the fire pit. Wonderful stay.

Rainy days with plenty to do

Perfect little place close to everything! It rained most of our stay however we were able to have a backup plan being so close to clifton Hill and wineries!!

Perfect Canadian vacation!

This adorabke cottage was perfect for us. Close to the lake and amazing food. We LOVED Lock Street Brewery. The house had everything we needed and our fur babies loved the fenced in yard. Plus, our morning walks with the dogs in such a peaceful neighborhood with a park were amazing. We are planning next year's visit already.

Lovely quiet cottage close to lake

My family of 5 stayed her over spring break. The cottage is very nicely updated and felt welcoming. My youngest two slept on the bunk beds and my teenager slept in the living room sofa bed, which he said was comfortable. Very close to the lake and a sort walk to the beach area with some restaurants and cafes. We had a really nice trip!

Perfect Little Beach House!

This house was perfect for our family of four. The owner was super responsive and has provided many thoughtful amenities to make you feel welcome. The outdoor space was so nice to have! The neighborhood was quiet and close to the beach. It only took 20 minutes to get to Niagra Falls. We loved every minute of our stay!

Port Dalhousie Cottage

We found this property to be a very comfortable stay. Close to parks, the shore and restaurants. Grocery stores close by and easy to find. Quiet. The outside hides a very cute cottage setting on the inside. All the amenities we needed. Plus a fence backyard! Would highly recommend this to a small family or couple.

Beautiful stay

My wife and I, and the two pups, really enjoyed the house and yard. Being fenced in, the pups had an opportunity to explore the yard safely. The house was just right, with everything you need to have an enjoyable visit. Sarah was very responsive to any of our needs or questions. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. The town "Port Dalhousie" has many good food places, shops and close to the lake and parks.

Cute and close to attractions

Enjoyed spending time in Port, restaurant selection was very good. Food was yummy at Kilt and Clover and the Social. Used the info from the VRBO to make final selections. Surprised that there were so many weeds in the front yard, driveway and back yard. Lost some of its charm and the neighbors’ yards were well kept. We had to leave early in the am to catch flights out of Buffalo and still had laundry to do before we left. Not sure guests need to do laundry. We put out our garbage/recycling, but not everyone else’s from previous stays. Master bedroom floor appeared to be on a slant, so rolling to the middle of the bed was an every night occurrence. Bunks meant for children, not young adults. Overall, clean, cozy and close to where we needed to be for the weekend, so super convenient location.

Beautiful Port Dalhousie

We three adults and a dog stayed 3 nights at this unique cozy Port Dalhousie cottage. The house is larger than it appears in the photos We chose this unit because there was a fenced in yard for our granddaughter’s German Shepherd. Several chairs in the yard provide sun or shade seating. The unit was very clean. Spotless white towels in the bathroom showed the attention to detail. A well equipped kitchen provided all we needed to prepare our meals. The main bedroom is adequate for two adults. The second bedroom has bunk beds and is more suitable for children. There is a third option in the living area with a pullout sofa. However the fan from the AV is very loud in that area. The lake is less than five minutes away. The neighborhood is very quiet and has many permanent residents. Port Dalhousie is a small community on Lake Ontario. It’s an easy walk into town to restaurants and cafes and the waterfront. The location is ideal for visiting Niagara and the many wineries in the area. This cottage is a good choice for a mini vacation.

Great little cottage for a beach getaway!

Our family really enjoyed our stay in St. Catharines. It is a beautiful area with plenty to do. We chose this spot because we wanted to be close to do attractions at Niagara Falls, but also enjoy some beach days as well. The owner was great to work with. The kitchen has the basic cookware to do some meals at home. Cute little eating area. Supplies like soap and dishwasher tablets were provided. Grill was great too. Beds were all very comfortable. We have three kids and were able to fit a pack n play into the bunk room, but it was tight. That is the only bedroom where this would fit. Thankfully it worked for our family. Not a negative but a warning for anyone with pet allergies: this cottage does allow pets as clearly stated so if you have pet allergies and do not have a pet this may not be the place for you. Thankfully my husband did not have any issues but since there have been dogs in the cottage in the past it is hard to get rid of all hair on couch, etc. The beach was about a 15 minute walk away or you could drive and either pay to park in the lot or find street parking for free. Nice pier to walk on and snack shop in beach area for ice cream and treats. The playground was great near the beach too and the merry-go-round still only charges 5 cents a ride. My kids absolutely loved this! Overall, this was a great property and we enjoyed our stay here.
