Spacious relaxing areas with adequate dining for 6 comfortably. 2 well appointed washrooms and 3 small but adequate bedrooms upstairs. The snug could easily fit a person or 2 with plenty of privacy. The kids loved the huge lawn! Very close to beautiful gravel biking with fantastic scenery. It is less than 3 km from Beaver Valley ski hill.

It was great to find a pet friendly home that was so lovely and in such a great location. We were disappointed that one of the three spa elements in the backyard spa was not available and ready to use. Hot tub and sauna were great but really wanted the cold plunge. There were some minor issues with the Nest smoke detectors. Overall we would happily book again.

This property is amazing! Great communication with the host and the perfect place for my friends and me too relax and enjoy comfortably! The the house was spacious and clean and the yard is beautiful and such a great place to relax. The nearby waterfall was a highlight of our trip! We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

Wonderful stay

Had a great stay here, with tons of space and a bonus room for watching movies with the kids! The host reached out often and made sure we were all set. Was perfect for a family getaway!

Ski wknd

Great spot to stay if planning on skiing at Beaver Valley Ski Club. Easy to find and close to various other areas of interest. Owner was great to answer any questions during our stay.

The farmhouse is situated on a lovely property in an ideal location — at the top of the Beaver Valley with easy access to the Bruce Trail, and less than 10 minutes to Markdale. We were a group of five and a dog, and we found the home spacious and bright. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we enjoyed the sauna and hot tub.I was distressed that I received no property access information the night before or the day of check-in. I messaged the host through the VRBO instant messaging app, but did not hear back. I had to call and text message the host to retrieve the key-box code. Perhaps it was an app glitch, but I've never had this problem previously with VRBO. We also found it disturbing that workers came by to mow the lawn at 8:00 pm (for almost an hour!) on Friday night, during a celebratory birthday dinner. Not only was it disruptive, it was unsafe.Note that the ad lists an EV charger, but it isn't an actual level 2 connector. It is just a 240v socket (dryer plug). This type of plug won't work with a portable level 1 cable. Fortunately, there are charging stations in Flesherton. Be sure to inquire with the host about plug compatibility beforehand.

Cozy and beautiful

We had a wonderful stay at the Cozy Cottage. It is spacious, beautiful, and comfortable, and was immaculately clean. The views out onto trees and snow are gorgeous. The hot tub, sauna, and cold plunge are great options -- we took advantage of two of them. Totally recommend this place!

Lovely stay for winter

This property is a great place if you have a dog. There was lots of space to play fetch behind the cottage. There was also more than enough space for us inside - the living room was a great place to read with all the windows, and we found the tv room nice and cozy at night with the pellet stove. We also really enjoyed the hot tub, especially since it was so cold outside during our stay!

Lovely place

We had 2 moms and 3 grown daughters for a weekend away. The house provided lots of amenities for us! And plenty of space! It’s in the country for even more privacy and the bedrooms were a lot more spacious than we thought as well. A great space for any group! We really enjoyed that we had several areas to choose from to enjoy during our stay. The house is certainly stocked comfortably that you shouldn’t need to take along much more than your basics.

Great place!

The location is very convenient if you plan to go up to Collingwood like we did. The host was very nice and responded promptly. The windows on the main level didn't have blinds or shutters so it does not feel as private at night time with the lights on. The washrooms are very clean, but due to the location, we found many earwigs, wasps, and larger spiders in most rooms. Would recommend staying here nonetheless!

Cozy Cottage

This cozy cottage was indeed cozy but had plenty of room for us to spread out if we wanted. It was very clean which was important to us. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms looked recently renovated and were beautiful. There was an issue with the fridge but the owner was apologetic and is planning to purchase a new one. There are plenty of things to explore in the area but as we had a wedding to attend, we were not able to take full advantage of this.

Lovely cottage

This property was a very nice place to spend a surprisingly snowy weekend. The kitchen was a great place to cook, and we really enjoyed the fireplace and view out the living room windows. The water pressure was on the low side, but otherwise all amenities were great. Nicole was great about communicating about what to expect, giving recommendations around the area, and making sure we could be in touch about getting the driveway plowed so we could get out after snowfall. Access to the Bruce trail is just a short walk away, and there's a nice outdoor yard space.
