Proposal Rock Inn #233- Meredith Lodging

Neskowin has been a beloved beach destination for over 100 years, and the Proposal Rock Inn takes full advantage of its treasures. Lining Hawk Creek with views to the beach and strikingly beautiful Proposal Rock, the Inn puts you close to everything this quaint village has to offer.

This upper-level condo features a king suite, making it an excellent romantic retreat, but a daybed with a trundle also makes it a fine vacation spot for a small family. You’ll enjoy the bright, charming décor, the compact full kitchen and dining table, and the private balcony with a bistro table and chairs with the creek quietly splashing below. Your stay at the Inn gives you access to an outdoor gas grill and a coin laundry. The condo has a DVD library and games to enliven the evenings.

Walk to the beach, dining, a specialty grocery, ice cream and golf, or drive a half hour each way to the delights of Pacific City or Lincoln City. You’ll be glad to retreat to your creek-side condo at the end of the day to watch the sunset turn the sky behind Proposal Rock to flame.

What a fantastic place to stay. It was just my husband and I on this trip but, next time we will bring our dogs. They had so many board games, toys for kids, and an abundance of books ! The couch wasn't the most comfortable and the cupboards are near the ceiling. I had to have my husband get all the dishes for me. Other than that we really enjoyed thr condo. Highly recommend !

This location is perfect, just a quick walk to the beach with lovely views of the river. The unit was the right size for our family, nice to have two bathrooms with 4 people. Our only issue was the cleanliness. The sheets on the trundle bed were covered in dog hair (we washed them in the laundry unit on the property for a quick ok fix) and there was trash left under the beds/couch. A little more attention to detail on the cleaning would be appreciated.

What an easy delightful weekend getaway which to celebrate a gorgeous January sunset. We appreciated the ease of our check in, check out, location and inviting condo as well as the clean, organized kitchen. The view and balcony were great and kitchen well stocked. However the WiFi is slow and inconsistent and the furniture is dated and not comfortable.

The property was as advertised. One could see the beach if you stood at the windows and looked to your left. It wasn't too far of a walk for beach combing. The exterior windows were pretty grimy which didn't help if one wanted to look outside. There were no instructions for the home, except for a generic one-sheet on a bulletin board, which was mainly for checking out. The internet as others have mentioned was super slow, the TV gave a number to call with any challenges, but it was closed when we arrived. We did receive an email from someone with instructions after I had contacted the manager but we'd figured it out by then. The dishes were impossible for a short person to reach unless one stood on a chair. For the most part it was clean, there were a few things that I couldn't overlook. The coffee pot was new, microwave and fridge clean. The window treatments appeared to be new. The couch needs replacing, a person can feel the wood frame when sitting. Some of the other furniture is pretty tired. The games, etc. have seen better days. It was quiet, other guests were respectful and the nearby restaurant, store and golf course are very good.

I'm sorry the exterior windows, some furnishings, slow internet, and the limited instructions detracted from your stay. We’ve scheduled an exterior window cleaning and asked housekeeping to follow up on the cleanliness concerns. The building's HOA has since switched all units to fiber internet and it has been far more reliable. We’ll speak to the homeowner about replacing the couch and the games as well. Please let us know what you were needing instructions for in the unit. We would happily write some up! Perfect spot for a weekend getaway!

I love Neskowin and have stayed at the proposal rock condos a few times. This unit is tidy and comfortable. Easy access to the beach too! We would stay again and highly recommend it!

Perfect for a few days on the coast

The condo had everything we were looking for: a nicely set up kitchen, comfy beds, and a great view. In addition to the easy beach access, it's just a parking lot away from two local restaurants and a short drive from Lincoln City. We loved our stay and would definitely return to explore the area more!

Everything was great at checkin. There was a problem with the microwave and they replaced it that evening. The place was very clean and comfortable. The only problem was I wanted to enjoy the view from the patio but the neighbors have a dog who was out and barking. (no fault of yours) My dogs and I were at the beach most of the time and the location was great!

Great location and condo

This area is one of our favorite to visit on the coast. Love the restaurant, little store, ice cream truck (in the summer), and of course beach access all without needing to get in the car. The condo was a perfect set up for our family with 2 young kids.
