Amazing cabin in amazing location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 3rd time at Yeti’s Den and gets better each year. We travel a good bit and don’t normally re-book same place as we enjoy trying new things but with Yeti’s Den, we can’t resist. The prior owners were awesome but the new owners are too...and they added some special touches that make it even nicer...we enjoyed the game room additions, large selection of board games, upgraded cookware as well as the reverse osmosis system, new food pantry, abundant dry wood, and helpful charging stations in each bedroom...they really thought of everything!

Beautiful property with all the amenities!

Gorgeous home. Clean and well-decorated, with thoughtful organization and great amenities. Peaceful location, surrounded by trees. We loved our time here and would definitely go back.

Our family of 11 had an amazing time at this property! There was plenty of space for everyone to play games, read, relax, and sleep! It was the perfect location - remote but still less than 10 minutes away from the town of Davis where we could food shop, grab a coffee, or do some souvenir shopping. We ventured into Blackwater Falls State Park a few times, hiked Brown Mountain Trail (trailhead access is in Davis), swam below Albert Falls, shopped in nearby Thomas, and went to the Farmer's Market in Davis. There is even a beautiful overlook of the valley within walking distance of the house. We easily could have spent another week exploring the area! We met a few of the permanent neighbors - they were very friendly and welcoming. The house was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking in each night, and we made use of the huge dining room table for meals and games. The kids enjoyed the game room in the basement, playing pool and basketball frequently. We also enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub a few times. The basement tended to be very cold - we had a hard time regulating the AC so that it would be comfortable both upstairs and downstairs, but it wasn't a huge problem. We had a great time at your home - thank you so much for sharing it!

Good size house for a big group.

We had 6 adults and 6 kids. Great set up for the adults to have bedrooms and a living room upstairs and the kids had bed rooms and a living room down stairs.

Ideal Early Spring Get-Away

Yeti’s Den was an ideal spot for four older couples! With a well-stocked kitchen, roomy living area and bedrooms, fireplace and wood stove, and fun indoor pool/poker table/skee ball available, the house suited the chilly mornings and evenings in mid-March. The location allowed us to explore interesting places/restaurants in Davis, Thomas, Blackwater Falls area, and Timberline Mt. We found Yeti’s Den the perfect central spot for family members from three states to meet and make new memories!

Nice roomy house for 10 people

Check in very easy. Place was clean and well stocked kitchen. Lots of plates, pot, pans, utensils Nice big fridge. Great hot tub. Grill worked fine. Deck and outdoor chairs need some TLC We would definitely stay here again

Cousin's trip #4

Each year I take my 4 grandkids on a trip for Labor Day Weekend. This year was no exception. We all had a great time and the sight-seeing was great. We had some good dinners and played games and had a ball.

Don’t sleep on this amazing home!

Excellent Cabin Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was wonderful and well thought-through for a large group to be very comfortable. The decor was tasteful cabin vibes, and it made the perfect backdrop for our family (9 people) to stay for our elopement at Blackwater Falls. The place was very clean, with a well equipped kitchen with great size glasses and mugs, both the main kitchen and the downstairs refreshments area. There are plenty of bathrooms and the basement area (plus hot-tub) provides a lot of fun for all. Would absolutely recommend!

This cabin is roomy and excellent choice for those that want great location convenient to Davis and all at canaan valley. Winter Family Vacation

There was lots of room and a nice size yard for the two children and dogs. We got snow even when the weather forecast has a small chance. It was a perfect winter wonderland. Family time at Yeti's Den

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the house. Everyone had a space to unwind and relax. Upon arrival, I noted how clean the house was. We have stayed in many different homes in Canaan, but this was by far the cleanest. I liked all the Anker charger plugs placed strategically throughout the space. We had three guests who had remote work to do, and there was never an issue with plugs or internet. Overall, a five-star stay. Thank you!

huge cabin close to blackwater falls

Reviewer Comments: Lovely large cabin with plenty of space for us and our 5 teenagers, we enjoyed the pool table and the hot tub, the views were pretty, and it was close to blackwater falls for amazing hiking. The check-in location was very close to the cabin and on the way which was very convenient. The kitchen was nice and large with a great refrigerator and ample cooking utensils. We enjoyed the firepit and it was great having a basement rec room for our sons to enjoy. We would stay here again.

Awesome house and location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a girls/sisters long weekend get away and this house was perfect. It has pretty much everything you could possibly want, plenty of wood for the fire pit (not all rentals do). Everything was clean and tidy. The location is close to two nice little towns (Davis and Thomas) with lots of cute little shops and more importantly for our group, we were close to lots of great hiking trails. One of our companions even found a relatively near-by (within an hour) beautiful lake to paddle board on - so there was something for everyone!
